The reason for this: police would have a harder (if not impossible) time tracking where they went, as their footprints would be nearly indistinguishable from an animal’s. This made it all the more perfect for serial killers to go uncaught. In Daisies, you can see Alastor’s boots have a deer footprint, which actually explains a lot as to how hunters mistook him for a deer (hence his Wendigo appearance) - they set their dogs on a set of “deer” tracks, and Alastor was the source of them. This also explains Alastor’s fear (or at least cautious avoidance) of dogs. He was shot in the head, as Daisies shows, which also explains the X in Alastor’s forehead. On another note, all serial killers take trophies of their victims in one way or another, and given Alastor’s affinity with smiles, it just makes sense for his trophies to be their smiles - even though that detail hasn’t been officially confirmed as part of the lore. With Black Gryph0n being the original singing voice of Alastor, it wouldn’t surprise me if Vivziepop adds that detail in during Season 2 of the show (which will more than likely explore certain characters’ pasts more in-depth - including Alastor and Vox).

I absolutely love the attention detail that this team as well as the Hazbin Hotel team all go out of their way to place. Even the artist themselves posted about the research they did to make it as close to possibly canon and why everything was done the way it was done in the video. The research and just effort is brilliant!
the deer like tracks imo was also to disguise his canibalism of his victims because deer among other animals would opportunistically eat meat if they came across it.

This man is BEYOND the death of me. Like he just keeps killing me and I keep coming back for seconds, lol!! Also charisma is definitely a killer, and something he has perfected down pat. - Terrible fun fact: prey animals that run away from predators will exude more energy and thusly tire out faster (or at least depending on their speed/stamina) even if they seemed to have covered a great distance. The predator in this case - while choosing to walk - will NOT exude so much energy and (if their smell is as good as their sight) will eventually catch up to a cornered prey running through unfamiliar territory. It’s like a race between the rabbit and the tortoise, and a game of cat and mouse… but just with a bit more ~bloodshed~.

To the people who comment that Alastor is canonical Aro/Ace (THAT IS VERY VAILD) but/yet that doesn’t mean we can’t love him, plus love can transcend the normal binary of “romantic” and “platonic”, in addition, couple relationships don’t have to be solely “romantic” or “se8ual”; there’s a reason why platonic marriages exist (even if they are less heard of). I agree with more exploration and representation for the Aro/Ace community but in doing so we must be ambitious to bring to light a whole spectrum of experiences and not just the “stero-typical” experiences, yeah?
Daisy has been constantly on loop for me too! And definitely agree. I love the representation of Aro/Ace characters! It’s just the “you know he’s Ace?” that kind of get repetitive. No Aro/Ace individual is the same. And Aro/Ace individuals can be in a relationship and can be sexual. But hey, everyone is allowed an opinion.
