@@krushh yeh, but he will have to nearly re-learn the flip. When I wanted to learn kickflip i practiced on grass, and after a week or so I consistently did it on grass. But after starting on asphalt It took me a while to get it down just once, as i nearly had to relearn the entire trick, meaning i wasted the time which i was practicing on grass

Did you know: i actually watched your kickflip challenge video while i was learning a few months ago. It got me so motivated and confident of myself. Now i can do it easily and also learned tricks like impossible, i never thought i was capable to do such things.
Dude me too! I was kinda discouraged w my ollieCoz it wasnt high at all but i watched that video and was like damnnn he did it so fast and it motivated me and i did it high for like the first time
Skatings a labor of love, some people just have that drive to try tricks over and over. To me ,ill get it i dont care how long it takes. Never give up. When u finally nail it its so great!
It’s so inspiring seeing you progress so much! My advice for you is to try the 360 flip (/any skate trick tbh) on a harder ground. The carpet really males it hard to pop the board.
I haven’t skated in like 13 yrs; your skate challenges make me wanna get a new deck & start back this summer. Awesome vids man, much love from the states 👏🏽👏🏽
I’m so glad you’re back skateboarding. I’m still going since last years video but I’ve barely progressed at all. It’s quite frustrating and ive started to lose motivation really. You’re progression is really good!
I just learned a 360 shove it today after months of trying. Everyone hits a plateau at some point, you need to push through it. You will get there I promise
The Random Duo if you skate once a week or when ever you can with someone on the same level as you then you will progress. Skateboarding take years to get comfortable on a skateboard when you are an adult and can only ride one every two weeks, your first year will be full of cuts and bruises, just learning board control for starters like carving around the quarters and pumping around the skatepark. I'm the same with BMX i started 2 years ago and a few days ago I got a concussion trying to go fakie up a bank. Anyways take it slow ask other skaters for help if you are trying to learn a new trick most are very helpful and will be stoked to see people getting into the sport. The best advice I can give it to start small and work your way up this can apply to any skateboard trick from doing a kick turn, dropping in, to olling stairs ect. Anyways stay safe and have fun.
That was a tall order for one month, well done getting as far as you did, Max. I haven't landed that one yet, so might have to set myself a similar challenge.
Just wanna say that was a sick edit in your video transitioning from talking about the trick's history and Rodney Mullen, letting the music build up, and then the sudden slamming on your skateboard at the peak of the music to start talking about the mechanics of the trick. And hell yeah man, props for getting that sick trick! You're inspiring!
This hits close to home. I picked up my skateboard a month ago for the first time in 12 years. Got my kickflips and varial flips back but I have never, ever been able to land a tre flip. I spent hours yesterday and hours today, here's hoping tomorrow's better!
Honestly skateboarding, especially when you're older and don't have the neural plasticity, can be like this for a lot of tricks and it's so damn strange, it's one of the few activities out there that can seem to totally confuse your muscular circuitry and leave you from a new stance feeling AWKWARD even if you have a fair amount of movements on lock. But given enough time YOU CAN learn alot if not pretty much anything to the point of effortlesness. It just takes ALOT (I estimate 6-8 months if you're older than 25) of time. Good luck Max, I hope you progress more you should keep skating.
I'm happy to see that you've not given up mate! You're a quick learner, even if you didn't really land it, it looks really good for a a first one (and first attempts) (especially after one year with no skating), i'm hoping to see more later cheers mate
this video is really motivating, just to be able to see that u actually can learn these tricks helps out on not giving up in te process. thanks dude helped a lot
It's actually incredible how did you make your progress , i am a skateboarder but the thing is that u are learning soo fast and i am soo happy about this . Sk8 or die .
Great video and great job learning the trick man. You have the determination and drive to push yourself to do new things... (A BUNCH OF NEW THINGS) and you do them well. Keep it up man!
Try skating outside of your carpet. You don’t get as much pop there. What I recommend is getting Soft Trucks or Skater Trainers and going to concrete, that way you the board won’t slip out from you, and you will get good pop
I think if u tried this in the following month to your last skateboard video. The things you should note when doing a tre flip is to be in sync with your board. Line your shoulders up and tell yourself where to jump. Was great seeing you get so close. Good luck on your upcoming challenges bro.
Welcome bro, 12 years of skating. Probably spent 3 trying to master that trick, if you have another go. Try it rolling fakie, the fear of shooting out is there. But the board will flip almost on its own
J. W. Its true tho thats why learning how to ride a skateboard is the first thing you should do that way when you learn tricks your more comfortable rolling and doing them
For all the people in the comments claiming that he isn’t “actually” doing the 360 flip because he’s on carpet, just stop. Learning tricks is much easier when you’re stationary and there are multiple ways to do this (skater trainers, cracks in pavement, etc.) Once you learn the trick stationary you’re more confident once you’re outside riding. Great video man, keep up the good work!
The erratic board behavior is from your from your foot position, have your front foot just below the bolts creates less of a hard drag and allows the front foot to lightly graze the kicking part. The back foot does almost all the work in the 360 flip.
Ah man you came so close. Great video as always. And this is the only time in my life I'll get to say this, so let me have this one victory: I did a one month challenge Max didn't! I'd love to see you revisit this and the grind. You were right there for both, and I know you would get them!
This process would have gone so much quicker if you were actually moving forward instead of being at a complete stand-still on the carpet. It takes SO MUCH less effort to do this trick (and have 360 degree success in general) if you are learning AS you are ACTUALLY moving forward... (both literally and metaphorically speaking).
