Napoleon Bonaparte is one of the most famous people in history. But he was not the only Bonaparte making waves in the 19th century. His brother’s prominent positions in the revolutionary government opened the door for him to seize power in the first place. And once he had it he set his 7 surviving siblings up with thrones of their own and political marriages that gave him an advantage. His younger siblings grew up spoiled and dependent on their powerful older brother. They did as he commanded, resulting in a number of miserable marriages and even leading one brother to abandon his pregnant wife. Let’s met the Emperor’s kid siblings...
    Louis Bonaparte, King of Holland
    Pauline Bonaparte, Princess of Guastalla
Caroline Bonaparte Murat, Queen of Naples
    Jérôme Bonaparte, King of Westphalia
    Last Episode:
Joseph, King of Naples & King of Spain
    Lucien Bonaparte
Elisa Bonaparte, Grand Duchess of Tuscany

I’m not getting back with your dumba$$ self (Jerome) then had the brother in law pay the child support. Well played, the son Jerome didn’t lack anything and he went places. She is definitely American and exercised her rights

I just love when non Dutch speaking people try to pronounce Dutch words. It’s such a difficult and weird language to learn and speak.
Btw, King Lodewijk Napoleon was one of the best kings The Netherlands ever had. Way better than some of the Willems who came after him.

In Rome, Pauline did a morning levee where the men she liked got to watch her maids washing and powdering her feet! (Oh, you tease...)
She also posed near-nude for a Canova statue, which I think appears at 8:20. (She was ready to go the full Monty, but Canova drew the line at that.) She later rationalized that Canova wasn't "a real man"--does that mean that he was gay, or just that he resisted her advances?--and there was a warm fire!
Will you do something on the next generation of Bonapartes?
