The letter rating is suppose to reflect how aggressive a division is. A being given to ones that are good at pushing and Cs are good at holding ground.
Not exactly, it's based on the real life NATO/Warpac category system. Category A are active divisions, fully manned during peacetime with modern equipment. Category C are reserve divisions requiring mobilisation, with older equipment. Category B is in-between TKS is a reserve division with a lot of spammy units, however it also has a very strong opener with the AMX-10 and the recon Fallschirmjager ACR is very much an elite division, but it also focuses on a very strong opener with a huge recon tab, ACAV and airspam.
I feel like eugen really didnt appreciate the implications of non standardized squad sizes. Like green berets having 6 men basically makes them suck except for the forward deploy into town meme. It doesnt feel well implemented.
Alot of hidden esoteric bullshit are shown on the War-yes website. Really useful, akin to the Armory tool in Wgrd. For example, the Shock trait's stats are good but the activation condition is dogshit, less than Satchel's range; or which plane dive or just strafe while bombing.
yeah airfield map is tough for inf divisons from your side. 11th Armor Cav is also THE A-10 opener division. Expect the cheesest motherfuckers whenever you play against them in rank.
Don't sleep on the Heimat-Jaegers or F-104 AA. The H-J's already good AT weapon has good accuracy even at max stress, and they're quite cheap. Same with the F-104's they're very cheap helicopter killers. Also there's a setting in options to have your transports auto sell so you don't have to que the order
Try to get cheap 120p tank cvs. My brain was very wargame brained too always forgetting the opener cv. But with cheap tank cvs you just quickly cap the zones and then just use it as a normal tank to justify the opener investment.
If you want most of the speed of the motorized units but wirh much better medium tanks and mechanized unit, you cannot go wrong with the 5Ez, the french 5th blindee division. Do it before they get nerfed lol.

@@TheAmazingchickens except 27y doesn’t have any reserve units 🤔

also imo, a card of HAWK is very nice against airspam. The increased range means it can cover so much more ground (compared to rolands).
The stabilizer tag is the "motion" value under "accuracy". You have to ignore it when the weapon can only fire while static.
I know, the tag is just misleading

Gosh I miss Red Dragon so much 😢
soon
The way you just vet every unit for no reason and don’t even call in units makes me question your ability to WARYES

You should watch some Hippie Warno videos to get a better feel for the game.
He is basically your British WARNO doppelganger.
Is there a reason why you have auto resale transports off? Find that it's better to switch it off during deployment per unit.
Yeah I refuse to let eugen play the game for me! Back in my days we didn't have any of this fancy automation!!!
Completely ignore the rating it is meaningless, it is supposed to mean things, but it is not useful for any purpose
I hate you you did it again
