I really like him as an antagonist, because almost everything about him would make him appear as an 'anti-saiyan'. Honestly one of the best things about GT. General Rilldo was also a cool villain too. Shame they didn't use him more.

Also, that ability of Goku to fade in and out of space like that may be some kind of time traveling power. SSJ Blue has some time traveling power according to King Kai. Goku confessed to King Kai that he used some time traveling power during his first fight with Hit.

And to note, Goku isn't the type to act swagger or cocky but we've seen other saiyans do this because they're more in link with their Saiyan heritage than Goku (especially Vegeta). SSJ4 Gogeta is one of the best designs for Dragonball as a whole. Ultra Instict owes all its success to SSJ4 simply for being a new transformation that differs from the typical SSJ and furthermore altered Goku's entire demeanor and fighting style. Where did we see this before? SSJ4.

I feel like super saiyan 4 is very underrated. Not because DBGT was a weird show but somehow I felt like DB super didn't want this transformation to come back.
WTF? how would it come back if it isn't canon? How would It come back if Super takes place BEFORE end of Z ? How would it come back if the writers such as Toriyama and Toyotaro wasn't even part of GT? How would it come back when GT series didn't even finish and was canceled after 60 or so episodes? Etc
Considering Toriyama stated in an interview that even though he didn't write GT it's still cannon, but another universe(probably one of the once that had already been destroyed due to DBZ simps) cause the universe itself is never refered to again.
As such SSJ4 is cannon, but fanboys can't handle that. They can't even handle that Goku has been a goofy with a lack of brain cells his entire adulthood. When in reality the only time he uses his brain is during fighting.
That's how he's written in Japananese as a stupid, goofy character, that can't think properly. The same way he is in Super.
Unfortunately American children's TV wanted to turn it into a super hero Manga/Anime and changed hoe he walks talks and acts.....
Now fanboys that has either not read the manga, only read it in English or only watched the ENGLISH Anime. And not watched any interviews with Toriyama. Think they know better than anyone else.....
And don't even get me started on all the stupid lore that's been added during interviews..... Including the famous S-Cells......
TORIYAMA is/was not a god of writing Manga/Anime. But I respect the hell out of him regardless....

Goku was calculating and intelligent with anything combat related, he was the one they always cried out for help, the man who knew what to do in the face of serious threat. He always knew what was best when it counted the most. They made him completely stupid in Super and retconned and rewrote his character to contradict what he already learned and did in Z, like not knowing meditation in Super when he was meditating all the way back in OG Dragon Ball as a kid.

For me Goku in DBZ or GT looks The same.
I was actually talking about the Transformation Looks and Design which.... seems like it didn't make much sense to me based on its true origins which I guess... Toriyama might have ignore it in DB super for that specific reason.
To be honest I grew up Watching DBZ only but when I saw GT and I saw Goku turning in Super saiyan 4 based on Looks.... I felt like Goku was no Longer Goku. He simply looks like a Random Saiyan monkey with no name.
I know it may symbolize Wukong but somehow it seems out of place.
