Hello! I just start planting this year .. I have a some area in my backyard ... previous years I've only planted tomatoes. Last year I had quite a lot of tomatoes, bcos of covid my friends came over to pick in my backyard. I'm especially happy bcos my friends almost 90 year old parents was able to enjoy a little outdoor in my backyard , picking tomatoes. This year I want to learn to plant more and different fruits and vegetables so I can share with my friends again. I'm so happy to have found you!!
This is amazing. Thanks for introducing Jessy and Misha to us through this. They are doing great work and like some one had said, it is hard to find people like this in this zone. Can you help us connect to Jessy.
Hi - Marc Green from The Backyard Urban Farm Company in Toronto here. Great piece! Where the heck is that house with the greenhouse! What a great piece of land to have in the city. We're currently looking for a space where we can establish a greenhouse of about the same size, but it's so hard to find land where we won't have to put out $4 million to use it!
Hey Marc! Zawadi Farm is in North York- you can find out more about it here: zawadi.farm/about/ Best of luck with that greenhouse search! Would love to know if you find one :)
Wounderful ! I s as m glade to see your viedo .we are in toronto to . There is not to many people do this .please keep doing .i will follow u .every years 👌👌
Impressive courtyard. Thanks for your ideas, people will have a beautiful full of green vegetables accordingly, I like you video. Just for who need SEBOSS hardware cloth,1/2,1/4 opening ,19 GA, Hot dip galvanized after welding, double galvanized, strong and sturdy, delicate and beautiful, suitable as gopher wire, protect lawn/garden from all kinds of gophers.
build up the soil by adding organic matter. compost, green manure or even grow turnips and leave it there for a year. etc. google up on clay fixing organic ways.
Can you please make a video detailing (simply) the size of that yard, how many hours it takes a week to grow food in it, average yields, etc. Am most curious to learn more!
I probably won't be able to but I know Jessey is planning to start his own UA-cam channel here: ua-cam.com/channels/gkKSEVUydnyJfVxrvqaSpw.html He's also really friendly- you can get in touch with him at zawadi.farm/
Love your garden! My question is how do you keep squirrels out of your garden? It's like squirrel planet here in Peterborough and each year they take bites out of each zucchini and other veg. plus they are always digging and hiding their nuts in my beds!
Wow! I've lived in Toronto for 15 years. How am I only just hearing about these magical urban gardens?
Oh we've been here - farming for 5 seasons now ..
This is amazing! We are in the same zone- it's hard to find videos in our area. Great video!
