Looks like you hit a cactus goldmine! Also I agree with you on the false flowers. A garden centre in the UK where I live was actually in the news because of it. Surely the glue they use to stick it to the cactus isn't good for the plant?
I can’t believe the prices and the quality of plants you have there! Those prices are unheard-of here in my area of NY. I’m jealous!😄 Keep on shopping! Thanks for sharing.
Oh WOW what a FANTASTIC Plant haul Ana :-D and we LOVE them all, so many BEAUTIFUL new Cacti and Succulents and the string of Dolphins is HUGE and so beautiful and WOW what an AMAZING plant nursery too, and yes we know that feeling of 'just taking a look' hahaha :-D its just far too tempting :-D thanks so much for sharing your wonderful visit and your new plant beauties with us Ana, and Hans and I are sending you an abundance of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle to Las Vegas for a FANTASTIC Thursday XXXXX
Super plant haul Ana, I would have come away with lots more, you do well to restrain yourself from filling the cart or even getting another cart full of plants 😀. Btw I love the theme tune to your channel, it make me smile each time I hear it. Cheers Ana 👍
California grown ! We are lucky that nurseries are offering such a wide variety of cactus and succulents these days and at such reasonable prices. That you are a skilled shopper certainly helps maximize the value of your hauls.
Wow nice may bilihan kayo ganyan ka dme dito lugar namin wala i wish magkaroon ako ganyan na cactus ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵i add you in fb if ok for you
Perfect video with my lunch! 😍 I looooved the plants and your haul especially the Mammillarias, Astrophytums and Ric-rac cactus, although Daz isn’t keen on it. I recently got a cutting as a freebie when i got my Hoya haul. 😆 The cactus @9.08 looks like a Gymnocalycium quehlianum. Daz has one and he may have to confirm this ID. Awesome trip, sis. Thank you for sharing with us. Ingat po lagi. 🙏❤️
Edithcolia Grandis Yung parodia, para kay Daz. I messaged him while I was there. Gusto daw niya yun. 😉 I will check the name of the gymno that you suggested. Take care there, too Edith.
Fantastic haul Ana, wow they certainly had a nice selection there. Great finds with the string of dolphins and the obesa 👍🏻 Hopefully them all getting wet won’t be an issue. I think Edith is correct with the Gymno ID, looks very similar to my one with how the spines are on it. Thank you for sharing with us as always Ana, and for the mention 😉 From Edith & myself, stay safe and well and have a wonderful day 🌵☀️🌸🌼🌺🏜☕️
It was wrong, Ana. The intense pink color is a Mammillaria grandiflora . The mammillaria johnstonii also you has it, is that of long black spines, with combined flower soft pink and white.
So many good cacti & succulents, Ana. I especially love the Euphorbia. I need to study the various cacti to learn the ID's since this is all quite new to me. Do you have a good reference book or online source to recommend? Or perhaps your subscribers have suggestions? Thanks for sharing your great finds. Your Las Vegas neighbor.
Wow! Congratulations, Ana. What a wonderful haul! And great prices, too! Those plants are so thankful you are rescuing them from the rain, they will grow and bloom beautifully for you and the friends you give them to. Enjoy! 🌵🌼☕☕🌸🌵
That is a awesome nursery!!! I like it very much!! We don't have anything like that here! Great prices too! About half of what they are here!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks , thanks for the tour!!! And remember everyone.... Peace , Love , Plants!!!!!✌💖🌵
Oh wow I don't know how I missed this video. I love your other video when you first showed Star Nursery. I think that's my first comment to you. I wish we had something like that here. Amazing selection of cactus. Ha, to me String of Dolphins should be called String of Sharks. Or better yet, School of Sharks. Some great hauls. The second tomato is a potato leaf variety. I hope they do well for you. I found out that soil is different in different parts of the country. I had ordered two bags on Amazon and was nothing like your mix. Was full of sticks and very little soil. No rocks. Just unusable. I sifted it but most was trashed. What a shame and I heard that's the East coast mix. I've been watching some of your older videos again with a newer appreciation as I know so much more now than when I first met you.
Isn't that the way of it though? A little window shopping turns into spending!!😅 And that's ok as long as you get the things you like. I was pleased over your excitement over finding the dolphin plant and the taller skinny leaf one. ( sorry I don't possess the vocabulary of names as you do..hehe) And then you found another nursery to find your soil and a few other plants. Good for you now you have things to do on your way back from vegas! Great vlog and take care Ana☕🍺🌵🐬
Wow! Not bad prices. Thank you for showing allll of the plants and taking your time even if they aren’t your personal favorite. I’m watching in envy. I don’t have any nurseries I can go to right now. Those astrophytum are way cool! Ric Rac? Yes!! All very cool & we have the same likes.
Wow 🤩 amazing succulents and cactus nursery. I wish I can someday find same nursery. By the way last week I found a nursery nearby me with a lot of beautiful succulents & cactus but they are not same as yours. Thanks for sharing this with us
Brian The Bold, water very lightly if there is no roots yet. I just mist the top of the soil when it is dry. 🙂 I only water deeply when it already has roots attached to the soil.
Little warty is on my windowsill and is finally growing. I baby this one, since you definitely Don't want to over water it. I planted it in "Gritty Mix". You are lucky with the Warty, it is 2 plants for the price of one. I am sure you know you can separate it and plant in 2 separate pots.
I sure miss some of the off the shelf finds I had from 10-20 years ago, things have changed a lot, mostly for the better but the rare gems of 20 years ago were way different!
Thank you for sharing Ana unexpected plant haul and wow the prices at Star nursery is really reasonable unlike here at the big box stores. Great plant selections 💚👍🌵
It is not always like this in this nursery. But sometimes I get lucky and find some uncommon cacti for sale. 😉 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. ☺️🌵☕️
Connie Beal, hahaha. I can’t say I have not done that myself. When I go walking around our neighborhood, I see some bushes that “need trimming”. So I “helped” them. 😉
Connie Beal sounds good! I have jade that I tried to make it into a bonsai but I’m having no luck. So I think I will also just let it grow so it can flower.
Yes they do. But Phoenix also has amazing desert plant nurseries! I would love to visit Arizona some day. Stay safe Carmen and thanks for stopping by. 🌵☕️

Great plants to add to your collection! Thank you for sharing.👏👍🌵💚🏜️🧤☕️
Nice finds! I bought a small agave cactus from Meijers grocery store, thanks for the I.D.☺
Wow nice may bilihan kayo ganyan ka dme dito lugar namin wala i wish magkaroon ako ganyan na cactus ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵i add you in fb if ok for you
I can't image how they can manage to survive with those prices. They would need to have to sell a lot or to have other products with real profit.
i love everything that u got. ganda din ng speaking voice mo sis soooo sweet!
Very jelly of all the plants at that affordable price compared here in Australia super expensive
I was so happy when I found the obesa at my Star Nursery (Blue Diamond) I couldn’t believe it!

12:10 Ana, this is a Mammillaria johnstonii, it has a beautiful big flowers, I have just got also mine. You'll love it.
Oh thank you Jacobo. I will look up that name. I hope you and your family are all well. Cheers! 🙂🌵☕️
It was wrong, Ana. The intense pink color is a Mammillaria grandiflora . The mammillaria johnstonii also you has it, is that of long black spines, with combined flower soft pink and white.
The names are all confusing. 😁 But thanks and I will look into those names you suggested.
The fake flowers & painted cacti drive me crazy too... thank you for the tour... Great haul👏🏻🌵
Yeah, and worse is that they charge more if it has those fake glued flowers. 🤨 But thanks for stopping by and cheers! 🙂🌵☕️
It is meant for me!! Omg... I say this too!! 🥰🥰🥰

What an awesome video Ana thanks.. I’m curious to know how they stay in business with those prices??? Oh wait it’s not in LA 😂😂
Lol! Haven’t been to any nursery in LA but good to know. 😉
Man... the cacti and succulents over there are so cheap
The lovely jade plant looks like crassula ovata compacta. What a steal for that size!
Wow that’s a huge place!!! Amazing Xoxo tfs
Thanks Melissa! Hope your family is well. 🙂🌵☕️
Wow! Congratulations, Ana. What a wonderful haul! And great prices, too! Those plants are so thankful you are rescuing them from the rain, they will grow and bloom beautifully for you and the friends you give them to. Enjoy! 🌵🌼☕☕🌸🌵

Awesome cactus
Yes, it's a good thing you stopped at the second nursery......those are really pretty.
Thank you for making me feel less guilty, hahaha. 😁🤣
Hi Ana! Lucky you got that those rare ones
Hi Ana! Lucky you got that those rare ones
it is really funny where your original plan is just stop by just looking at the plants but ending up buying.
Hahaha! How often does that happen? “I just need a pot...” 🤣

Enjoyed thevideo. How much did the bric brac cactus cost?
I can’t remember exactly how much but it was close to $15.

Hi Ana! Lucky you got that those rare ones
Wow beautiful

Got a question for ya. When propagating a cactus, how often do you water them so to encourage root growth?
Brian The Bold, water very lightly if there is no roots yet. I just mist the top of the soil when it is dry. 🙂 I only water deeply when it already has roots attached to the soil.
Wow l love the cactuses
The mammi with white flowers is Mammillaria zeilmanianna albiflora (y)
Oh thanks!
5:27 I was like... that's expensive.
Sees hand as comparison: Okay thats big. Fair price.
Beautiful! Happy Gardening
DC Harrison thanks and cheers to your garden as well. 😃☕️🌵
So great! love them, such lucky prices.
Wow ! So many to cactii !
I just had to sell some cacti because I live in Canada and have to keep them all inside and I run out of space.
I collect succulents only succulents for now but cactus is interesting too
Hope you give them a try! 😉
Amo cactos 😍😍😍😍😍😚😚😚
Lucky you... am stuck in India. In lockdown,
We are on a lockdown now, too. 😔 This was shot a week before it started. Stay safe and healthy! 🌵☕️

Eriosyce? One with some buds you picked up at the second store. Great haul!

🤩🤩💜
That rick-rack cactus is so beautiful and unusual! Congratulations!
Thanks! Before I’ve only seen it on vidoes and pictures. I was so happy to finally find one. 🙂👍🏼☕️
Does anyone know what the clustered cacti behind the dying plant are called? I have one, but no ID.
those are some really good looking plants!
😃👍
Hi Ariel! 😊☕️
i love cactus and i collect them but i live in georgia so the only place you can get good ones are etsy lol.
Try online at planetdesert.com. I have had several good purchases from them. 🙂
@@CactusCaffeine Ok thank you :)
I am so jealous! and cheap too.
It is not always like this in this nursery. But sometimes I get lucky and find some uncommon cacti for sale. 😉 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. ☺️🌵☕️
😍 the obese and all the cacti
Some nice choices you have.
Thank you. Difficult choices. 😉
I was a naughty girl and cut some dolphin clippings off a pot downtown. I have always wanted to try to grow them.
Connie Beal, hahaha. I can’t say I have not done that myself. When I go walking around our neighborhood, I see some bushes that “need trimming”. So I “helped” them. 😉
I confessed to my grand-daughter I was naughty and cut some succulents via text. She texted back that I was living life on the edge, ha ha
Is the merchant can shipping the cactus to indonesia?
I’m sorry. They only sell through their stores and they do not mail plants.
@@CactusCaffeine omg i was really excited with cacti there, because it is hard to find the another unique kind of cacti here...
Great haul Ana. Such beautiful succulents, thank you for taking us along ❤️
Thank you Fernanda and stay safe! 🌵☕️
My jade is red and is flowering. I am lucky that my backyard gets sun for at least 5 hours. I make sure I don't over water it.
Connie Beal sounds good! I have jade that I tried to make it into a bonsai but I’m having no luck. So I think I will also just let it grow so it can flower.
I wish they had a star nursery here in Phoenix! They really have an incredible selection.
Yes they do. But Phoenix also has amazing desert plant nurseries! I would love to visit Arizona some day. Stay safe Carmen and thanks for stopping by. 🌵☕️
@@CactusCaffeine You would love the Desert Botanical Garden if you do ever visit. It's amazing.
Me encanta las quiero todas😍👍
Yay, part 2
I finally finished it. 😅
Wow! Cool reel.
