The greatest? No way. What he did that was so great? He was a lot of personality not much policy.

I may have not been around that fateful day November 22,1963 but my Dad born in '49 & my Mom '52. My father loved President Kennedy we talked about this black day how it affectedmy father as well, me being born August 8th of '79 I was blessed to be in this world so was my older and only sibling my sister born September 13th '73. My father told me the food as well as the bad that President Kennedy had gone through making enemies even within his own "Fellow Americans"who worked within his circle. He didn't want our advisors who were in Vietnam any longer so he did write a note or letter of having those Military Advisors who were helping the South Vietnamese ARVN and bring our boys home by Christmas of '63 but unfortunately that never happened. He came to the state we were born in Texas he did days before he was taken away from us he had come to San Antonio then visited Brooks AFB since there was some testing done with the Space Program so he was really into sending an American to the Moon so he & Jackie came over then a few days later the worse day in history happened. LBJ, some gov.officials, the Mob, and other S.O.B's got away with the murder of JFK. That letter he wrote was then scribbled over by LBJ so Instead of withdrawing from Vietnam, he and others who were all about the $$ send so many to Vietnam to go fight and die by our crooked so called President and staff. My dad was drafted so was my uncle, my dad's friends etc. Luckily my Dad is here but different, my uncle who came back in"one piece" Sgt. With a bronze star he was a squad leader who lost so many but never ever talked a out it. He passed away Jan 2nd '01 from COVID full military honors at Ft.Carson in Colorado Springs 5th Infantry ♦️ Red Diamonds. The mystery is my Dad never told me anything. But my grandpa worked at old Kelly AFB here in San Antonio worked for Boeing painted the B-52's in those distinctive Camp colors I never got to meet him nor my grand they passed the year I was born. Grandma was 1st, 3months later grandpa, 3months I was born 8-8-79. I wanted to be in the military but my father for of me so I was tricked on "seeing a recruiter" I was going to Pharmacy School. Wish he would of sent me to The University of Notre Dame since I attended Holy Cross which Notre Dame is our sister school could have picked a different degree than Pharmacy. But I thank him or else of he had taken me to the recruiter, 9/11 would have been my ticket to Iraq or Afghanistan. I lost a few friends there one I knew came back but was wrapped too tight ended his life and Fiancé life a few years ago then my buddy former Sgt.1st Class I had a few experiences of have in him go through some terrible scary flashbacks so thanks to understanding Military Jargon, I can handle him better. But of we had President Kennedy, this country would be in better shape. Now it's like we are apart than United as one

I was 8 years old when Kennedy was shot. They announced it over the PA system in school. School was closed. Everyone was sent home. I was in shock, old enough to know what it all meant but not old enough to really understand. My mom didn't believe me and accused of me of lying to her. I told her to turn on the radio or television, then it was her turn to be shocked! The whole country was scared. This was the middle of the cold war and we had just gotten past the Cuban missile crisis. The news was all about the Russians killing our president and launching an attack! They were scary times; I still tear up when I hear this song or even think about it. I don't think the truth will come out for many years to come out, if it ever does. Anyone who looks into the whole mess can easily see a conspiracy and cover up. Definitely something I am ashamed to say happened in my country. I salute John, Bobby, and Martin. I am proud that such men as you came from America and ashamed that your lives ended the way they did.

After JFK, all they had as presidents were s bunch of idiots, I mean this man wanted to change everything that was wrong with the country and Canada would have followed his lead as well, he was a true visionary, it's too bad he was killed by his own country men, what a shame and a big stain on this countrys history, my condolences to this great man even though it was before my time, the history of this is very sad, the U.S of A might have been in a better situation now if his policies were enacted. TOO BAD U.S.A.

This dude was good looking and charismatic but most certainly wasn't standing up to the system. He drastically escalated in Vietnam (the silliness of the movie JFK notwithstanding) he dragged his feet on civil rights and gave one of the biggest tax breaks in American history to the richest tax bracket. In WW2 his laziness in following procedure is what got his boat sunk and two of his sailors killed. He did partially redeem himself by rescuing one afterwards. And he was most certainly not killed for standing up to the systalem. Has Oswald not shot him his reputation would be trash for getting us into Vietnam. He didn't have any "saving graces" like Johnson who passed landmark civil rights legislation.
