Great advice, tysm, Immie. So true about the idioms, and phrases, and giving yourself time. You cannot cram Spanish - it won't work, and you cannot expect instant results. By the way, it may be a relief to many that AQA does not require quotes, and they warn against them being used randomly or in the wrong way.
It's a good and honest advice. Mind maps are such a great idea. It brings so many words, expressions, ideas, info , facts and figures to your head! I have a few videos where I give lots of info about different topics and they all starts with a mind map. Statistics aren't necessary but it's good if you use some. ¡Mucha suerte!
@@ImmieSophie Yea I just finished my Cap 2 and was just really irritated that I was a few marks off a B, your advice has allowed some braincells to click in how to tackle my problem.
Thank you so much! I was panicking about how I was going to revise for my first year 12 mocks in December since I'm out of school at the moment! I also like how this video isn't stressful and has quite a calm and chill vibe :)
Thank you! :) I have just started AS and i enjoy the class with the teacher. If there's a good teacher....there's good learning :) Higher chances of passing lol
I grew up in Spain but never became fluent in Spanish, after moving back to England I forgot some of it. In year 8 my brain went blank in a test and they moved me to foundation. After doing foundation for 3 years I had to teach myself the higher stuff in 8 months. Now for A-level I'm failing, my teacher told me the other day I might have to drop it and take another subject. Hello, thanks for the amazing video. I am predicted a 6/7 at GCSE Spanish and am wondering about choosing it for a level. However, I find Spanish listening really really hard. Would you recommend I choose Spanish?
Ooh it’s such a hard decision to make, but if it helps I used to find listening really hard too, & now I’m doing Spanish at uni! I loved Spanish A Level & your skills will develop a lot over the course, so maybe speak to your teachers and ask for their opinion? :)

What exactly did you do to get better at listening? I always feel just watching films and writing notes doesn’t really work because the vocabulary you actually need is so specific?
Best thing for listening in my opinion is just lots of practice. And for watching the film, that was just how I liked to find quotations. You might find different things work for you - this was just what worked for me :)
