A fine discussion with many points of cohesion that would be relevant even today. Kind regards, SF

The supreme mastery of this pipecast leads you on nicely to one on Gladstone’s second government

Note to self. Must build more book shelves. Specific books are bloody hard to find when packed into a multitude of Rkive boxes.

That's a good plan - except that however many shelves you put up you will never have enough!

Ngl dawggy, you’re putting out some of the dopest videos on UA-cam. Straight up wish more people would plug into sources of information like this because I feel like “one-nation conservative” presents, at a minimum, a compelling alternative to most current political philosophies (especially in the context of the US)!!!!!!
The parallels between Victorian England and the United States are seriously uncanny in many respects. Let’s hope a near century of global dominance doesn’t always end in catastrophic global conflict 💪😤🙅‍♂️
Sorry for making it all about the US - definitely see how Disraeli was a product of the British environment and was responding the British problems 🇬🇧💂‍♀️But you have to admit, the British Empire and the modern United States share many similarities in terms of global power!!!!!!
Either way, sick shit Dawggy. Thanks for making this!!!!!!

Thank you very much! I think Disraeli is always relevant to any county that needs to create a narrative that unites people - most narratives in the UK and USA today tend to divide people. Disraeli saw this problem and hence tried to unite people around a shared pride in Britain. The problem is now to find an idea that can actually unite us.

Very interesting topic. It helped me as a german to better understand that time period in british history. Maybe it would be in the interest of people here if you could make a video about pipes and pipe smoking? Greetings!
