Id recommend going for advanced propulsion and mag field manipulation. If your looking to leave the cradle, you'll need to walk quick, run faster. That also makes titanic ships easier and faster to research. This will also make building your space economy better as well- cruise style vacations to your space stations with quick turnaround means more butts in seats more often. Advanced carbon manipulation also a good way to go for structure on your ships - can't leave home if your ship falls to bits or arks aren't growing enough food or has enough room.
Looks like a much better start than your previous humanity first run. I would suggest grabbing Advanced chemical rocketry early on because that gets you a couple of techs that boost your boost income which makes early game space expansion easier. The academy gets a 1 year crackdown on around half of its CPs after the global tech Deep system skywatch is completed (Doesn't always trigger straight away)
@Stealth17 Gaming Ops income is still valuable to have, even if you’re trying to stay friendly to other factions: you use 5 ops for every time you investigate alien activity or crash sites, and the only way that you’ll get more ops income is via orgs (nation control gets nothing for ops income). Quite a few of the orgs that give ops income also cost ops to purchase… so be wary of spending too much before you get a solid ops income.
Later on you can build a marine barracks on a hab, those structures also have ops income. I have never needed to however, especially if you have a councilor with the government trait + the US you'll end up having the various special forces sections present themselves which are an easy source of ops.
Most criminal cartels also tend to have an ops income, although those also need some ops spent to attain (such as the 'Ndrangheta or Cosa Nostra from Italy). Alternatively, special forces or spy agencies from most governments will also produce ops income. Marine barracks is more of a late-game method to gain ops; you won't have those during the early game (pre-space economy).
The Resistance and Humanity First will offer the perfect distraction for the Aliens while you assemble your interstellar ships. Edit: There is a country with better boost in the earlygame: Kazakhstan. Probably the reason why Protectorate beat you to the moon.
Kazakhstan can be a trap tho, it gives a LOT of it's boost to Russia. You have to leave the federation, or control both to really make it work. (Coup are great for that)
BTW China can be tuned into extreme science powerhouse. If you get it to full democracy rating (10), GDP/cap of 40k USD and 10+ education than China gives about 6k research point per month. Cheapest/best way to boost miltech seems to be advise mission with 25 command/admin/Science councilor (command - bonus to milltech , admin - bonus investment points/up to +25%/, science - RPs)
From wanting to kill all aliens to wanting to run away from aliens, this play through is gonna be interesting. Honestly really interested in what their endgame project even is anyways
I think this run is definitely winnable, you can afford to be more low key with project exodus, and the US is the best noob friendly major power. There is a little gold mine in central Asia that starts with a K as well lol
I'm excited to see what you do in this new campaign! Not a fan of the run away doctrine of project exodus but I think it'll be interesting to see how they play in contrast to the humanity First campaign with all that you learned from it.
26:18 It shows you the likelihood in percentages of them accepting the alliance. South Korea had a 0% chance, so you basically wasted 10 influence for no reason. Well, I hope it's at least a learning exercise.
Hey Stealth, you can change the map colours to show different factions-it’s the arrows by “Nations” in the top right. Love your content keep it coming!
easiest way to see who has control over the various nations is via the faction view on the map - try the arrows on the top right hud element that reads nations by default
It's more important that you invest in mil tech than in New armies for the US because you already have 5 armies. I'd move the pip over from army to military
I am not sure Exodus really care about the invasion TBH, they just want to explore/colonize new places, and the Aliens gave them the tools for it. Academy would be the ideal RP ally IMO, because if they succeed, then the new colonies will be free from immediate threat.
@@aleide2980 Conversely, the only factions I see as threats are the Servants and the Initiative. The Servants will object to you running away, but they're probably a lot more concerned about the Resistance and Humanity First. The Initiative, on the other hand, has no reason to be less hostile to you than anyone else. In my Exodus game, they've been the biggest headache.
Not quite sure how I have managed to do what I have done in my run of this game playing as the initiative, I have neutered space travel for most of humanity apart from exodus, humanity first and the resistance have control of the majority of major pop centres and have fortified the crap out of them, I control china and India together in a giga nation, we have fought off 3 invasion waves so far, and the aliens seem to have just given up.... they are not bombarding, nor are they sending any more invasions..... I don't know if its a bug or not , but they seem to be in some weird stagnation. Thus allowing me to freely research every tech and find out the win con for my faction with no downsides. so no idea wtf is going on
Well basically, if you don't piss off the Aliens they will let you be. They have other stuff to do, like mining the shit out of the solar system and building crazy fleets with the ressources. Now maybe they just ran out of steam and can't afford new invasions.
No sorry. I'm not taking submitted stories for this series. I had to make my work flow more efficient with my wife going back to work. No time to edit in user stories last minute
Oh my lord can people get off Elon's peice 🤦🏾♂️ Like this guy is literally a con man 🙄 He isn't a genius, he's just really good at marketing 😔😤 Like he's the king of hype and the master of simps 🙏🏾💜😂🤣
I mean, he did revolutionize the Space industry, and gave a huge boost to EV too. The stuff he does with Space X is crazy, if everything works out he might even be in history books in a few decades.
Depends on why you idolize him. The space stuff is crazy, and i don't see anything wrong with admiring/idolizing his engineering skills and his vision (on space).
Good luck with run 2!
Thanks! Good luck in the final stages of your run. Hope you'll succeed where I failed humanity o7.
I am very excited for this playthrough. Such an interesting game. And I really like your style of playing this.

Academy is a rough playthrough. Especially their victory conditions
rushing the advanced chemical rockets then reusable rockets increase boost investment by % so always open with those
@@AmanChristoph It is, the Academy has a very hard time. It's very much a "Earn Your Happy Ending" sort of scenario.
As USA one of your military divisions is in South Korea. It is beneficial to airlift it home so you don't have to spend as much in upkeep.
Its much faster to manually move it

Great start! Love the abbreviated editing style in this episode.
Don’t skimp on the purple research (xeno) mid game you need some of the tech in order to not get instant capped on your control points from aliens
good to know. I'm mid game and I'm definitely skimping on purple research right now
The Resistance and Humanity First will offer the perfect distraction for the Aliens while you assemble your interstellar ships.

From an RP perspective HF and TR make most sense as allies imo because they will slow down the aliens and buy you time to escape.

What is "Operations Research" ? I see everybody passing up this first tier tech.
It's a repeatable tech that gives you 20 ops points. Get more expensive each time you do it.

This game is a bit weird. I don't quite understand why China would,d just give up the station to you.
Why isn’t exodus rules by Elon musk?
