Thanks man! These pegas blades work very well and last a long time the only downfall is I find them noisy while cutting but no biggie ;) thanks for watching
I was wondering about the wood you used. It looked pretty soft and easy to go through. Is there anything special you look for when buying wood? BTW the final project looked amazing.
The wood I used for this project was 3/4 inch pine which is really soft and easy to cut and not to mention where I live is very cheap to buy ..when I look for different wood to work with I look for knots or grain marks that will compliment the project I'm doing at the time ....thanks for watching and sorry for the late reply 😀
+Trevor Carter no I'm so thankful, I am a young teen who wants to get into woodshop. thanks for helping me and responding, and don't worry about being late, even though the video was older you still responded and I am so greatful for that.
+shaman garcia It's great to hear you are getting started woodworking 😀 I'm not a pro but if you have any questions feel free to ask I will help all I can! 👍🏻
MRrwmac i just crank up the speed on the saw and go to it... and believe it or not most of the time if i break a blade its cause i ran it to long and it was simply worn out but never from turning the wood piece
Hi Dave I believe I got that one on scrollsawvillage dot com under animals tab in the free patterns and if I remember right their are 5-6 different ones .....thank you for watching
haroun timol sometimes if I notice the wood is gonna be unstable if I cut on the lines I'll just cut off the lines a bit so it leaves the wood a little thicker in that area....remember once you peel off your pattern no one will ever know you didn't follow the lines perfectly 😉 thanks for watching I hope this tip helped
Nice project Trevor. I like that you painted the edge black. Awesome job.
Mike Fulton thanks mike i was shooting for a shadowed look lol i think it worked ;)
Beautiful well done! I see new blade purchases in my future!

Nice work and like the design. I know the video was sped up but on even normal speed, how do you make those turns so quick without breaking the blade?

Very nice work, a scroll saw is in my future for this type of work, can I ask how you secured it to the base?
Thank you! I used a small wooden dowel to hold this in place..it stuck up about an 1/8" from the base just enough to glue
Hello Trevor, where did you get the pattern for that? It's really nice. Good Job
