Be honest..... How much did the exhaust bug you?? Watching the clip with headphones and EVERYTIME you came off throttle all I could hear is pops & bangs. I imagine this became weary some after a while 😊

Mixing in the odd supercar here and there would be perfect, but changing over to just reviewing new high end stuff - nah.

The V8 R8 is even more accessible. One of those with a decent exhaust is under $100k, sounds possibly even better than the V10, and has proper gauges instead of a screen. Those are very underrated supercars, and when fitted with a supercharger are basically a Ford GT for a fraction of the cost.
Another top review. In a world of Porsche GT3s, Lambos, Ferraris, Maseratis et al the poor old R8 seems to be forgotten. Good as the latest R8 gearbox is, and is is 1000x better than the old single clutch auto, it doesn't come close to a first gen R8 V10 with open gate manual or a modern GT3 PDK, get yourself into a 992 GT3 there are plenty around Welly, but overall the R8 is a superb all-rounder that you could comfortably daily. Unfortunately now out of production RIP R8.
Yes, but I'd argue the R8 was the spiritual successor. A cut price supercar that's reliable and usable day to day. New NSX is impressive but it's far different from it's predecessor
Yeah I would rather have an R8. T.50 is unobtainable status and you'd be so scared of damaging it so you'd never want to drive it. This you can beat on every day and actually enjoy it
Great boost to your channel. There's that old 2013 vid of an R8 driver and his gf racing a GSXR1000 and ZX10R on a motorway in Brazil in 2011. It's quite mad and the R8 is all over them. One of my favourite videos ever.
It's not because it has only 2 seats, for 200k you can get top spec S8 if you want luxury or AMG S 63 E if you want performance with luxury, this audi is for people that have too much money because it's a waste of money
Oh WAY better. I liked the old R8, with a gated manual it would also be sensational. But this has a much nicer interior, and the V10 sound is addictive

It's not that bad tbh, depends on the RPM. This one had a tune but I didn't find it annoying

Dunno if it's the ultimate when cars such as the Gordon Murray T.50 exist, but it's certainly a very impressive machine.
