- Join me on a 15km ramble along the Nonnenfließ, a glacial valley in the Barnim district of Brandenburg in Germany. This is my first real hike since crippling knee pain forced me to abandon my Wainwright Coast to Coast walk attempt in July-August 2024. Here, I am testing not only my knees, but also a new set of footwear - Salomon XA Pro 3D Trail Runners. Fancy seeing how I get on? Then come along!

Thanks! Yes, after we posted company at Colburn things became deeply unpleasant - but lesson learnt and next time will be all the sweeter for it - was lovely to share some of the trail with you, hopefully our paths will cross again sometime.
