I the only time I read the Bible was in basic training 7 years ago. After that I stopped. I decided to learn Buddhism, but for some reason, I was pulled to try and read the Bible again. Your video really helped me find a great start Bible that I can use for many, many years. I chose the CSB single column personal size marbled slate. Thank you. ☸️✝️
I’ve watched this video 5-7 times. I’m really excited about these to be released and really excited about the video reviews. I’m curious in a size comparison of the single column to the PSQ and the NKJV Sing Column premiere collection. Thanks!
CSB is my favorite translation - I would preach in NLT and study in ESV, and the Christian Standard Bible has become my main translation for both. LOVING the slate personal! I already have a personal single CSB, but man…… I really, really want that color way.
I used to be an NIV man, but after getting the CSB Ancient Faith bible, I'm hooked. Bought another everyday CSB to just read for the joy of it on the back deck with a cup of tea. I totally agree, the CSB really grows on you, and is such a beautiful read.
@@BibleLovingLutheranThanks, that's good to know! I see Quentel and personal Quentel, but both are double columns, whereas I prefer single column. If there's a single column Schuyler that'd be awesome. 😎
Awesome Bibles.... Awesome Colors.... Awesome Price.... simply awesome.... Like Thomas Nelson and Zondervan, lifeway also offering high quality bibles in awesome prices... Simply Superb..thanks Tim, for showing very early for us..God bless you..
The CSB is my favorite translation hands down. I love it. I pre-ordered the slate one last year when they first mentioned it. Looking forward to getting it. Not excited about the blue under silver though. I might get that updated. I just don't like silver. Everything else is great! Very excited.
CSB is my wife's preferred version, and she loves the calfskin on my TBS KJV even more than the goatskin on my ESV Omega. So, one VBV double-column in burgundy calfskin, please, for my wonderful wife.
I love the CSB single column personal size in marbled slate calfskin. The only slight hiccup (like Tim mentioned in the video) is that I likewise really wish Lifeway hadn't gone with the red accents but used blue accents instead. The red accents better match the burgundy. So now I'm torn between two thing: (1) I really love the marbled slate leather more than the burgundy leather, but (2) the red accents better match the burgundy leather. Which way to go, I don't know! I realize this is a first world problem. 😄
I’m getting the burgundy my friend this video convinced me I was wavering love the VBV as a pastor have a cherry hill rebind and a R&R rebind but I love the burgundy as you know I pastor in Alabama and live here! Love the CSB Roll Tide!!!!🙏❤️📖😉
The Single-Column Personal in Burgundy is my favorite. I'd preordered it on the 5th, on a whim, and it's great to see this first look video already! Can you please do a review of it?
What a beautiful Bibles ❤ That tan one is just gorgeous. And what a funny color choice for their ribbons. Red, yellow/gold, black: the colors of our Belgian Flag. Gives it for us a ‘royal’ look . I’m looking forward to watch your videos where you will review them separately.
I have the single column in slate preordered…I’ve been super excited for March to get here and now that I’ve actually seen what it looks like I’m even more excited!
It is really difficult to decide which color is my fav. but I do love that grey with blue under silver. As always, thanks for your time in reviewing these beautiful Bibles.
Cool to see the CSB getting some higher level premium treatment. It's a great translation but it seems like the overall impression has been that the premiums have been lacking in comparison with the offerings for other translations. Hopefully this is the start of that problem being remedied!
Love the burgandy single column. I recently found the CSB. And love the translation. I have never had a premium bible because of budget issues, but these look lovely and would be a great bible for anyone.
Really loving these new CSB premium options! It’s really cool that Holman listened to customer feedback about the gutter issues and made an honest attempt to correct it. I haven’t used the CSB that much, but half-tempted to preorder the Slate Single Column and give it a try!!
I really wish and pray that they would release a 13-point font in one of these handcrafted Bibles. I mean I don't have the marketing data but I'm pretty sure that it would sell like crazy. I know I would buy one.
Love the Burgandy Personal Size! I personally don't like to see the blue pages with red accents or I would go with the Slate. Easy enough to look past on these beautiful single columns though!
Thank you Jeff…..those Bibles are beautiful ✝️❤️❤️🙏🏽✝️. I love the slate and burgundy✝️ ❤️❤️🙏🏽✝️I think the slate is my favorite. Thank you Tim✝️❤️🙏🏽✝️
I switched up my Bible translation for the year last year I was reading the CSB this year I'm going with NKJV and got a humble lamb Bible for it. But man I really think I'm going to have to buy this and switch back next year
Just pre-ordered the Burgundy Personal Size single-column. I would've went with the slate but I think the red inner markings and red, gold, and black ribbons on the slate would've bugged me and they match much better on the burgundy. This will be my first ever "premium" bible. Can't wait to receive it! Awesome review, Tim!
Wow very excited for these! Thank you Jeff and Tim for giving us this peek at a beautiful set of options! Have to save I’m very much leaning into the burgundy color which is not my normal gravitation. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Love the slate and the single column. May just have to treat myself to one as my CSB is a cheap Thinline and the cover is suffering! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Tim and Jeff these bibles look amazing and I have to say that Slate Single Column is calling my name! Tim, any chance of getting a video on the Saddle Leather Single Column that you showed during the video?
Tim- thanks for the intro to these new handcrafted Bibles of Holman. As a constant user of the CSB Personal Single Column, I would love to see a comparison within the text block of these new handcrafted Bibles with the current CSB PSCs. Looks like the red chapter number accents are a difference. I am very interested in the paper differences as these handcrafted are advertised with "premium paper." Thanks for your consideration.
How about a giveaway with these bibles I love the csb translation just a thought and idea thank you for all you do always praying for you and your family tim!
Would like a premium CSB using the same paper and color scheme as the vbv wide margin in a 9-10 pt font. The large print thinline is too large of font for me. But I love the vbv wide margin paper and color scheme! It’s just a big bible for everyday use/carry.
I need a preaching Bible and a verse by verse in that brown calfskin would be amazing. The blue under silver on the slate is amazing though! 😍 (I've had a blue Schuyler PSQ for a few years now and it's brilliant. But, I've always felt they really missed a chance to go blue under silver on it.)
My 15 year old son is almost done with his first full read-thru of the Bible. We're rewarding him when he's done with the slate.
Thank you. ☸️✝️
The gold lettering just pops off that burgundy. Such a crisp, clean colour pairing.
The BSB is another option. It is now public domain. That is the Berean Standard Bible (BSB).
Hope that helps.
Amen.
Edge lining, spine hubs, great paper, red accents . . . the Single Column Personal Size is now the PERFECT Bible!
This is the one I’m waiting for. Love my ESV heritage but would love a CSB equivalent!
@@JoshDurston Pre-ordered mine yesterday!

Now $159.99!!! Just 5 months later, still worth every penny! Thanks Tim as always 👍
That burgundy personal size is gorgeous!🥰
The CSB is a wonderful relatively new translation. It's good to see it get a (hopefully) awesome premium treatment! 😊
They’ve had them in Schuyler for awhile.

Burgundy calfskin verse by verse!! Beautiful! My favorite!
Beautiful. Glad to see more variety of the CSB.
I am going to have to say that slate with the silver over the blue is absolutely fantastic!
Thank you Tim, I love this Bible. I love the burgundy (ROLL TIDE).

I think that i have fallen for the burgendy marble it is so beautiful !
I love the tan color! Also getting a rebind done right now over the personal size single column and Im so excited!

Great looking new Bibles, especially the slate. The burgundy also looks really good though, with a nice amount of red in it.
Love the slate gray! So glad you got to share these with us!
I can't decide which ones to get. They are all so beautiful. My son wants one too.
I love the CSB. It is the main Bible I use for Bible Study Fellowship (although they mostly use the NIV).
These are lovely! And…ROLL TIDE!! ❤❤❤
Can't wait for the in-depth review & pics of the single-column!!!!!

Had no idea you were a Bama fan - Roll Tide! Now I’m even more glad that I preordered your book! Lol
RTR!
What a luxurious Bible! Verse by verse is something I may want to read and study one day.
Beautiful Bibles! I do wish more publishers would use blue accents. Then again, I'm color-blind, so the blue just really stands out.
Excited for these! Holman is leveling up!
I have the Prussian blue ESV and love it. I am preordering that slate gray now!
I just ordered mine yesterday. Single column burgundy.
Roll Tide! 😊
Would love to see more premium NLT ❤
Tim those are beautiful!!!!! Would love the burgundy well any of them. What a great price.

I love the last two Bibles the single columns I would like to buy one where to go and get one
I love the burgundy!
Me too!
Can you do a comparison of the personal size hand crafted and the genuine leather one when the video comes out
I need a preaching Bible and a verse by verse in that brown calfskin would be amazing. The blue under silver on the slate is amazing though! 😍
(I've had a blue Schuyler PSQ for a few years now and it's brilliant. But, I've always felt they really missed a chance to go blue under silver on it.)
The single column personal size looks like a similar size to the Premier Collection NKJV SCR too.
Thank you Jeff.
Thank you Jeff!!
So beautiful. I would love to see a comparison in the color of Holman Handcrafted Slate & Schuyler Slate gray
As for color, I'm torn between the burgundy and the slate, though the tan is gorgeous too, in other words, I like them all... lol
Love the burgundy!
All those colors are great! Very difficult to find a winner! 😅
Hi Tim thank you for howing the csb that i dont know.
Can’t wait to watch the reviews on these!
Holmans’s single column with red chapter & verse numbers is awesome. If only the ESV Heritage would use red verse numbers.
