You stick 2 Mercury Racing 1350/1550s with M8 outdrives in a pontoon boat, instead of 3 450 outboards, it would go way faster than 114. One of those sterndrive engines makes 200 horsepower more than all 3 of the outboards would.
The upper level has the capability of acting like a wing, and picking the boat up out of the water.... it'll flip over. This isn't the most intelligent thing that I've ever seen!

Back in 2001 I did some work at Smith Mountain Lake for a guy with a similar boat. He took us to lunch at Bridgewater Marina in that thing. Yes it was fast, but there was absolutely nothing pleasant about the ride.
