A lot of Canadian lawyers would say do not talk to any kind of cops especially in Canada as it is their job to convict you of a crime and anything you could say be taken as evidence that will lead to your arrest

@@The_SmorgMan "As a former cop", you know you absolutely must talk to the police under specific circumstances. If you are being charged you must identify yourself, it is a crime not to. If you are being arrested you have to identify yourself even if you are never charged. If you want to invoke the 5th you MUST notify an officer you are doing so. It isn't enough to tell people not to talk to the police. The public must know it's rights and how to interact with the police in a way that protects their rights.

The ATF came to my house in 2005 because I was selling the old style 80% lowers (fire control pocket was milled out) when they first came out, along with the book I wrote on how to complete them using woodworking tools, at the local gun shows. They very carefully worked into the conversation, "Can we continue this inside?" My dad said yes, and I said "hell no! We'll do this right here in the driveway where all of my neighbors can be witnesses." The guy looked flustered, and set everything on the hood of the car. I guess he wasn't used to that. I wasn't doing anything wrong and we both knew that, but I opted to stop selling them per their request. It would not have been worth it, had they made the second trip.

Then they go on a fishing expedition to see if you are breaking the law without any evidence to back up their suspicion. Usually without a warrant, because the judge would laugh them out of his office.
It seems more and more law enforcement is becoming law entrapment, and we have to learn to be lawyers in order to protect ourselves from people that believe we are breaking the law, because that is what the officers are doing.

I’ve had a few encounters with them, they don’t seem to operate by any agencies standards that I’ve seen. Other agencies operate off of already committed crimes, like the DEA operates based on snitches and intelligence on where drug labs and such are, the FBI conducts lengthy investigations before acting, the ATF doesn’t seem to follow any legal procedures that I’ve seen, they just kind of show up and attempt to antagonize you into incriminating yourself which is illegal. However seeing their past ordeals like Waco just tells me that they’re basically the enforcing arm of the federal government to keep the population in check.

The guy in the first of the video is a diesel mechanic, and does side work out of his personal garage. He buys oil and fuel filters in bulk, and his online transaction triggered some red flags.
I'm sure he bought more than just filters too. You cannot legally get arrested for the filters unless there was something else there that they found such as a solvent trap or two.

The oil filters I saw online were CLEARLY meant to be silencers for a gun. If you purchased one, you are seriously crazy to think you could get away with it. A typical oil filter is very large round vs a silencer. You gotta be an idiot to not know the difference. I'm a gun guy, but follow the laws.

All you need to know about the ATF is their bump stock ruling. Under that ruling the ATF has declared bump fire as full auto fire. This means that the ATF can now declare any semi auto firearm to be a Machine Gun because they can be bump fired. ATF can do this without a law being passed by Congress. Great video, thank you. I am a former law enforcement officer, I was injured on duty but after recovery, I decided I did not want to be in that line of work anymore. Too many headaches and it was too political for me. Remember this! The Supreme Court ruled that a law enforcement officer / government official can lie to you to obtain evidence. They can lie to you and suffer no consequences, but if you lie to them, it is obstructing justice and giving false statements. Just like he said, can't stress this enough, keep your mouth shut!!!

That's one of the reasons I got out of it, I got into it for the right reasons because I thought I was helping my community, but when I seen other officers lying and treating people like crap, flexing their Authority, it ticked me off. Then when I went to my supervisor about the things that I had seen, I was made out to be the bad guy. After that I wanted no more to do with it. You see the good officers that are trying to do right are pressure by the ones doing wrong, therefore if you stand up to them you don't fit in the click you know what I mean. There were way more good officers, then bad ones. It's like every other job, supervisors have their favorites and they can get away with about everything, and if you don't fit in the click they want you gone.

A. Am I under arrest? B. Am I being detained? C. Do you have a search and or arrest warrant? If you get a no to all these questions, just step back inside your residence or car and close the door and leave them standing there. If you LIE to a federal agent you can be arrested, look up what Martha Stewart got sent to the big house for. If lying to a state law enforcement officer is illegal in your state is illegal, react the same.

Not too long ago he was advocating for people to actually write to the ATF to let them know how we feel and what did he get? Threatened with destroying his life. My father was a police officer and I've always had respect, even for the ATF but going after good, country loving citizens has left me with nothing but absolute hatred for government agencies.
