Pop mic filter, or even putting a sock on your mic helps with that blast noise when making P B D and W noises. You can fix them in post via audacity, or just have a filter set up in your recording software like OBS. Keep up the good vids, been trying to get into PD2 with friends and its been a journey.
I did not play PoD, so I can't directly compare the experience. So I will not be able to meaningfully comment on it. That said I can't imagine this isn't true: Senpai has said the fact that the mod started in late 2020 helped. Covid was still keeping a lot of people indoors that winter and the next spring when S1 and S2 were on. D2 streamers that had gained popularity over the prior 6+ months of lockdowns played it, added to the player base, good word of mouth, etc. Perfect storm in some ways. He also said that for some reason there was a anti-mod purism among the streamer community for a while before PD2. What exactly changed the tide to being in favor at the time, I couldn't tell you. But what they've continued to do since is great. First of all, keeping extra-seasonal currency out of the economy is a great boon, plus the trade site now works great. The way they've continued to add QoL features like infused orbs, belt status pips, continued attack on namelock, jewel fragments/stackable everything, or pick your favorite. And fixing big and small bugs like NHD or Shenk bug respectively. Love this mod, and thank you dev team.
