What to do in Roatan Honduras from the cruise port?
Little French Key is an amazing excursions for the day.

we got he $88 Full Island Package, I will give you a quick tour of the island and all activites you can do! the food was really good and the day was amazing. They have some amazing animals on the island so make sure to leave some time to check them out!
Later in the video we went back on the cruise ship and I ate a lot of food and went to the casino. We went to watch the ice skating show on Allure of the seas

That place is awesome!!! Ive been to a few carebbean islands this is my favorite!! I took a pic witha jaguar here. The food was amazing.

My last cruise we stayed in the Haven on NCL (got a killer deal) and I ate filet mignon twice a day almost every day just because I could! It was awesome! Went through serious food withdrawals when we got home 😂 You only live once so I say do what makes you happy!

I was here too Matthew last November 2019~~ it was my first cruise ever and have made friends for live with some people who live there!! Did you know that Angelina Jolie and Sandra Bullock have homes there too!?! Beautiful place ~~ Great video ~~ Keep up the great work!!

Never been in Little French Key, and I go every year😭. How thats possible!!?
Thanks for the video. Did you have to exit the wooden doors (As others call them.) to get to the bus for Little French Key, when you left the port area? I see alot of people complaining about leaving the port area and after you leave the wooden door, you get attacked by people trying to sell you excursions. They were saying some wont take no for an answer. Some people said they didn't feel safe. I was wondering if you had to do the same or does Royal Caribbean have an alternate area for the buses?
It has been a long time but i do remember leaving the port area to find the pick up. It can seem sketchy but overall I think you will be okay!

Going to Mahogany Bay next month. Just curious why did you pick Little F.K over Big F.K? It looked amazing, but wondering what was the difference for you. Also how was the water? Was it really clear? Everyone says just go to the free beach by the port but the water looks cloudy. Any info would be appreciated!!

how did you get this excursion? from ship ? $88 is a deal with transportation incl and food and drinks and all that fun. Would like to do horse riding in water but don't want them to guide the horses person I would like to do it freely but west end Roatan has horse riding in ocean I think also with zip lining and other deals.

RAIN!!! It's a sunny day and it rains like H#LL for 5 minutes and stops. The sand is steaming!

LFK was the worst excursion we’ve ever been on. $89 pp for that murky lagoon-type water. No beach to speak of,, the water is accessed from that dock you see. The food was not unlimited buffet, but one “plate” which consisted of a bbq chicken leg and 2 forgettable sides. The included drinks were either 2 cheaply (beer, soda, bottom shelf liquor), or one good drink (name brand). The surface under that water was so rocky, you had to tread water to keep from cutting your feet. An awful day, made worse by the $89 cost.
Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time there!

Thanks. Make sure you get up early on the port days so you get the most out of the stops, the day goes by so fast. Make sure you are ready to gain weight lol and enjoy you trip! Watch my playlist of my cruise 2017 to get more of ideas what it was like for me the first time.
Also know what you are doing at on the port days before you get on the ship:)

Daniel Valencia I have some tips for you, the pools on the boat are salt water and not Chlorine. And make sure you wear shoes when you go out of your room bc the deck floor is really hot and they have put put and basketball goals and when you shoot the basketball it never goes in bc all of the wind lol. Hope you have a good time on your first cruise

You can book on Little French Key website. Big is the one right across
You reserve it online then once you get there you pay if I remember correctly

Hi Matthew, we are going to Honduras next month, Carnival cruise only offer Big French Key for the excursions.. I really like your recommendation to go Little french key.. so my questions is do we have access to go to Little French from Big French?? Pls. advise, Many thanks.. :)
No you wouldn’t have access to it. You can book LFK on the website you don’t have to go through Carnival

Hi Matthew, I'm just wondering if you booked the little French key excursion through Royal Caribbean OR if you did it on your own through your travel agent? And how exactly did you get from the ship to the port where you then had to take the ferry over? Also, approximately how deep is the water under the rope swing?
We booked it on Little French key website. They will have a driver just outside the port they will take you there then you pay for the package you like. Then you go on the quick boat ride to the island. The water was about 6 feet deep or so.

I'd love to hear a live stream or a vlog about costs on a cruise....I've never done one, had no idea that every stop they charge you for everything from using the beach to rental packages, etc. Do you do all of the payments on the ship, or on the land?
I can talk more about it on a stream for sure! To sum it up you pay for the cruise that will include everything you need on the ship. You can choose to stay on the ship on port days or you can do anything you like some beaches are free the public beach (like my Atlantis video) or you can do resort for the day that a private. You can even just stay in port or walk around the town. It’s all you to you what you like!

Very easy to find the ride just outside the port. The ride was half hour but depending what port you are at. The other port is about 15 min away.

We booked it online on LFK website but paid there.

The Newell Family they have a few packages you can pick from. Depending what yo want . They have cheaper ones that a good enough for the day

you say it take 30 minutes to get there but then you say a 2 minute ferry ride? I am going here next week on the allure and I am trying to plan accordingly. Can you clarify?
Yes when you get off the ship they will drive you to the little french key, it’s about 30 min car ride depending what port you are at. the other port is about 15 min ( not sure the name of the port) then once you get there you pay and then they will take you on the quick boat ride to the actual island. Does that make sense?

The animals are a product of trafficking,the owner of this place is currently been acused of not paying taxes to the local goverment.All of the construction in that little key is ilegal,it has no permit to do so....please do your own research and boycott this place
🤔 wooowww. I'm sure you already knew that place caught on fire not to long ago! Honestly I've also heard people complaining about the place a lot ,, some say drivers and tour guides don't get pay enough for their job. I don't wish nobody evil because it's not right to think like that but a business that does not help the people who contribute for its growth such business should not even exist. The business of exploiting is no business, up to this moment I think they're still on business , but it's not what it used to be. People say karma is a be,ach 😂😂 I'm glad
the excursions make so much $ out of cruise goers, adding lots to the initial cost of a cruise. And it all looks very "touristy" and fairly one dimensional, I'd be more interested in seeing beyond that to get more of a real sense of these places along the way. . .
Ya it does add up but you can choose to do whatever you like and not spend anything. Some places are not very nice looking to just walk around but everyone is different and you do have that option
