I have you beat slightly in getting married fast. I knew my husband for 2 months....we dated for 2 weeks and then got married. That was 26 years ago. I was only 19 and he was 18! We always joke that everyone said it wouldn’t last...but he’s my best friend as well so spending my life with him has been a joyride! Also had 2 boys but they’re both grown as we had them very young too...23 & 25. Oy...makes me feels so old, but I loved being a young mom, and now the kids are out of the house and we get to enjoy just each other again...and go on all the vacations and doing all the stuff you wouldn’t have been able to afford to do in your early 20’s if we had waited. I know this video is older, but it popped up on my feed and I had just watched your photo shoot with your daughter yesterday. She is seriously one of the cutest babies I have ever seen! @@mrsreal5665 Same here in Switzerland. It's the only way to make sure he's not married yet. They don't trust anyone. My husband is a highcourt judge and says that many people provide fake documents to enter the country. Once you're married, you have the right to immigrate if you're not a criminal. (Bigamy is a criminal act here). Sometimes, especially from the Far East, marriages are temporary contracts which are easy to resolve there but here, they're seen as a real marriage and hence not so easy to resolve. We only accept marriage between single people (incl. divorced and widowed). Making such a fuss with documents is a way to protect our people and in the end, the country. In particular if a couple is as quick as this truly lovely couple. 🤗 That's very suspicious - What are they up to?? 🤔 Korea has also different letters and translations/transliterations must be verified and legalised. I know it's annoying. I would be cross because of the fuss, but better be safe than sorry. But as we can see with this example: If a couple is true and honest, nobody will be denied marriage. ❤

It seems more and more clear to me the Christian version of marriage is the only sane marriage. The Bible says there must be no divorce. People divorce at the drop of a hat these days, and the big loser is the woman because the guy is usually lusting after some younger woman. Just tragic for the woman, and abhorrent to God. Marriage must be forever regardless of how a person looks in 20 years.

Second time viewing this story. I think I enjoyed it more this time than the first. I follow several couples and they are fun and loving and special all in different ways. You are my favorite, however. I have always held back on declaring favorite because I like them all very very much. Kwon family is down to earth, real, no tricks or pranks, or maybe few of them. You share your friends and travels and your beautiful daughter. The way Joon freely demonstrates his care for his two girls is adorable, cozy, warm. Linda is a bright light in Joon's world and she is a thoughtful caring DIL. You both are fantastic parents, Roa is a blessing and treasure that you share with us. I'm korean and married to a Belgian guy...I understand when you guys were talking about the paperworks...lots of stress and work to get the papers/documents. I have to say that getting the documents for me to say in belgium and get married was a lot more work then getting papers for my husband (even though Im korean...I'm a USA citizen and lived my whole life in usa) to move to usa...(I missed my family so my husband agreed to move to usa with me) We have been married now for 10 years ^-^ You guys are a lovely couple and thank you for sharing your story with us.

I just found this video and it made my heart beat so fast! 🥺.My boyfriend is Korean and we also met through an app, we still haven't had the opportunity to meet in person but we both dream of that moment coming 🥺🥺. Meanwhile we We write a lot every day and we both use a translator, we are trying to learn the language so we can communicate fluently when we meet, it has been really a bit hard to communicate in video calls but we give our best 🥺

This beautiful story reminds me of the situation between myself and my husband.
I am from Britain. I met my husband through the internet via a mutual friend.
He comes from Sweden, and I come from the UK. We talked for months over the internet and one day I decided that I would go to Sweden to meet him. I spent a short weekend in Sweden and when leaving that first weekend HE cried at the airport. We were both naturally very upset, but he more so. Visibly!
I planned another weekend trip thr following month, in between we stayed in constant contact. We missed each other! Something was DEFINITELY there between us, a real connection.
After the second visit (and meeting his parents and some of his friends and family) it seemed we were more serious than just 'dating'.
It was at that point that he asked me to move to Sweden to be with him. Yes...there were lots of papers too. The system is somewhat different than the UK. But the good thing was when I returned to Sweden again on the third trip, I was allowed to stay 3 months (an extended visa) within this time, I applied for a permanent residency. As a nurse, the country (like so many other countries) needed nurses. So, my application was granted.
I received my personal number, and was allowed to start learning to speak and understand Swedish. (It was rather strange and frustrating to me to sit with my (then) boyfriend and everyone was speaking Swedish around around me. No one wanted to speak English to make me feel more comfortable. The only person who tried, was his mother. Which was very sweet.
His brother and sister and nieces, or friends...nope. It did make me cry many times. Mainly because I had no voice, yet wanted to be involved with the conversations. I had things to say and reactions to give too, you know? Very frustrating and I didn't want anyone to think I wasn't trying hard enough.
After 2 years together, we decided to get married, and in 2015 we had our daughter who is called Tora~Violetta. Her name honours two of our grandmothers.
...and the rest is history, as they say. We have been together since 2010. So 11 years.. and counting.
Who says internet relationships do not work?! They DO!

I think international relationships teach us a lot about life, in your story I can relate to both you and the Swedish relatives who spoke only Swedish. Maybe it was their way to say „please learn our language“, as not the whole world speaks English or wants to speak it. I remember when I was in Indonesia as a tourist and was told to learn Indonesian by a local person, this made me realise how big Indonesia really is in terms of size and population ;) But of course it is nice if there are people speaking English as long as you need it.
