I wasn’t going to be able to see the game live today. Just got home, went to check the score and thought “how is this possible”? I truly believe it is partially mental fatigue. When going non-stop now for 4 years, what I like to term as “the go-go years”. It doesn’t matter how well you train… if the mental is a bit off/fatigued you end up with scenarios like we have here. I personally feel the team should not do a tour this summer. This happens to non-athletes also. It happened to me.
I think they've lost their mojo and like you said, some players are exhausted. The tactics are also way off base and need rethinking. It's not over for the autos, and we've been here many times over the last two seasons. But we do need to pick ourselves up and start afresh now and bag 3 points in all our away games coming up.
Looks like Stevenage came to play! Guess that is why they are going home with a win. Sorry Wrexham, beginning to think Mr. Parkinson needs to come up with a new plan for the rest of the season. If the club wants another promotion.
We need to go back to basics and we need to get a winning mentality back. We've been lucky so far that we've not dropped down the table but it will happen. Now we have no games at home until March and our way perform is dire. We will either pull ourselves back up or slip down. Its not just Parky either, the team looks lethargic.
@@WrexhamAFCfanzone 🤔 Maybe Ryan and Rob should order up a round of ice water enemas for the players and coaches? I hear they really tend to clear away those lethargic symptoms! 😱🥶🤣
Its 50/50. Everyone saying Parky should do this, do that but so should the players. There was no winning desire the other night and not a drop of the enthusiasm that we saw against Birmingham. He might as well have left the whole first team out against Stevenage and played a completely different team. Foster in goal, Faal upfront, and so on.
