Hi Jeffree, I’m probably not your typical viewer. I am a mother of a now adult son. I found out when he was an early teen he was cutting. My heart was beyond broken that he was feeling the kind of pain that led to this, and as a mother, I couldn’t take that pain away. Fortunately, he is past that, but it still kills me that I couldn’t “fix” whatever he was going through. Thank you so much for giving this a voice! Also, thank you for being you, and for showing young people that it’s okay to be who you are, and giving them the freedom to express themselves! You made it this far for a reason. I understand why your first thought would be to not tell the truth about how long it had been since you self harmed. It’s like you said sometimes it’s just too much to say at once. The fact that you decided to make this video to come clean just proves even more how much you’ve grown from this experience. I think doing the series with Shane really helped him realize that it's ok to share and be real. Now I have yet another reason to love Jeffree and yet another reason to admire, respect and love Shane more.
Jeffree and Shane’s video is the reason I got help with self harm and anorexia. I’m not recovered yet. I’m actually watching this in the hospital but thank you Jeffree for telling us that its going to be ok. Because I honestly believe after watching this that it will be okay. I am now at a healthy weight and working on my makeup skills because of you. Thank you so goddamn much. I love you 💕

Shane and Jeffree's series inspired me to check into therapy.
I went through three horrible years of sexual abuse from the ages of 11-14, which has caused trust issues and relationship issues to this day. To mask the pain, I started smoking weed almost every day starting at 12 years old all the way up to now (now I smoke for fun) but back then I would get so high and just cry in my room for HOURS. I've only attended two therapy sessions so far, but I'm hoping this will be a good stepping stone for me to finally move on.

I was a burner, instead if cutting. I would heat up metal and brand my skin from age 13-19. Then I stopped. Then my mom died when I was 26 and my world fell apart. My dad lost his mind and began drinking again....I started burning again. For a year I did it. I hated myself and thought about killing myself every day. Somehow I came out of it. I'm 37 now. I'm a mom now. I also have tattooed over my scars.

Notice how he doesn't cry, even when what he's saying is tough and real. He doesn't need to appeal to other people's emotions to deliver his message. He doesn't need to make a show out of what he has to say. Because he doesn't wanna force an opinion using props like tears, even if he did wanted to cry. It takes a lot to say things like this out loud Jeffree, so I hope revealing this helps you. I was a very suicidal teenage & only tried to self harm twice. Someone told me scissors wouldn't leave scars (which honestly nobody should ever have suggested that to me) & it wasn't true but I tried it. Thankfully it wasn't for me, but I can't imagine doing it all the time. I haven't spoken to my family in 4 years and honestly don't ever want to speak to those people again. It's really surprising to hear that someone can go 10 years without talking to your parents & then reconnect. I can't imagine. Thank you for sharing all of this with your audience. All the time I spent away from my mother I will never get back, but I will forever feel the guilt of it all because I knew she was hurting and didn’t do anything about it. But will always try to make up for her, till the day I die.
Sometimes we don’t even think about the smallest things that end up making a huge difference in our lives, so don’t waste your time, your indifference can cost a lot to someone.
I am really happy for Jeffree, hope he and his mom can find the happiness they deserve as a family.

I feel so much more connected and involved with you since Shane's series. I used to just watch your videos sometimes, but now I do religiously and will continue to do so.

I have too, and I remember a time when I was really mean to people who didn't deserve it. I was projecting my own self hate and insecurities. And just a random side note, the only person I ever really "call out" is onision. But he truly deserves it. He's bullied almost every youtuber on the planet. Sometimes I feel bad about it but he really needs a taste of his own medicine for all the hurtful and untruthful things he says. IE- very recently his transphobic video about Jeffree, and all the videos he made about Shane. He is literally a nobody anyway, I'm glad no one even reacts to his videos and drives him more views. the secret world of Jeffree star changed my whole view on Jeffree. I didn’t really watch him not becuz of the controversies just becuz I was just not really watching UA-cam that much, but now since I watch UA-cam like 24/7 Jeffree has been one of the youtubers I really like watching. I find it so interesting and intriguing when Jeffree talks about his past because he shows that there is hope and it will get better❤️

Girl I’m struggling with a lot but Jeffree??? He kept all of that hidden since Christmas ! Imagine that. Meeting with your mom after a decade , trying to get her living situation straight, running your own brand + businesses , keeping all your social media platforms updated. Making an INCREDIBLE series with Shane. All of this while dealing w. mental health issues , coping and pushing past them everyday. The universe is truly on Jeffrees side. Life deal us cards which we really dont deserve or understand and it sucks, it does. But look how far you have come and you've stayed strong and made a huuugeee success out of your life, your pain and yourself. You are the most intelligent and strong woman i have ever heard of or met. You have brightened so many of those same dark times in my life and honestly hearing this from you has given me reason and hope again. I have been subscribed to your channel for a while now and one of the main reasons I subscribed to you in the first place was because you seemed like a mythical creature. You sat upon this mountain of success with your beauty products and designer items you could throw away if you wanted to and I watched your videos thinking, "This is the level of success I want to be at." But I knew it could never come true. I couldn't even begin to fathom how you got to where you are now and it made me feel like all I could do was admire you and never aspire to BE you. But then my world changed when the 3 part series came out. Shane exposed everything, from your daily life to the behind-the-scene processes of your company. After I finished the last part, there was only one emotion I was feeling: awe. My mom and I ended up homeless about a year ago. It really opened my eyes and made me become more humble. We finally found a cute apartment together and about 6 months ago she passed away suddenly. Jeffree I am a Scorpio too and I attempted suicide too I almost died due to my family chronically bully me I suffer from severe anxiety ptsd and depression and borderline personality disorder and schizophrenia and I almost died because my sister told me I should overdose and die so Dec 2018 I overdose on pills and stopped breathing and was on life support for two days after being in the physcatric hospital my nephew told me I should have died jeffree you mean the world to me I have been suicidal free and hospital free for over a year now because of my daughter and because your my coping skill you help calm me and relax me when I'm depressed and having worrying I just watch your UA-cam channel and I relax because seeing you do your make up and do reviews and hearing your stories really inspire me that I'm homeless right now trying to get my daughter back and I can be somebody someday that I can be successful one day jefffree I love you your such an amazing person and I understand you thank you for being you
