When we had season tickets to the ballet, the woman who had the seat in front of us was a flamenco instructor. My wife told her all about my past experiences as a dancer and she wanted to recruit me as a student. I was in my mid-40s at the time. My wife gave me that "don't you dare" look, so I never took the woman up on her offer. Although I would have not achieved the level of skill as Senor Cortez, I would at least know more about the art form, and what I am watching. This is so fascinating to watch.
We have all spoken about Joaquin's artistry, good looks and stage pressence ; off course quite rightly so. I have another question : does anybody know how he works out? Because he looks in great shape and has a lot stamina. (...well of course the dramatic slow-downs also serve a practical function😏)
