I love that you can tell the difference in their personalities just by how they press the clock. Mom is very gentle and barely touches it while dad makes me surprised that thing still works

It's very astonishing to see how much she loves her parents. The grandmasters moved their pieces right with parenting.
This led me to tears, considering my father and mother can't stand in the same room for over 10 years and never had something we shared as a family.
i feel you. my parents divorced when i was really young and still hated each other 20 years later.
Ten minutes is one thing but who can stand in the same room for 10 years?

Pia is so crazy good, Keep in mind she's only 1 out of 40 women who ever reached GM level, whereas there are 1500 male grandmasters.
Why? There's also a gender thing going on in chess

@@twincherry4958 Chess is a stressful game, men can handle pressure much better, so that's what it is pretty much. there is no data that suggests that women are less intelligent than men, but intelligence and being good at chess aren't the same things. you do not have to be a genius to be a chess genius. some say they are split because its an old social construct but it wouldnt make sense why they are still split up today

Anna's laughter is addictive to listen to. It is exciting, nervous, joyful. I just love watching her play or narrate her parents games. I have started playing chess again after watching some of her videos. I hope her life and family is truly as wonderful as it seems.
The endgame on game 2 was absolutely fascinating
She made it really difficult for herself, at 15:15 she could just take the bishop and he wouldn't have been able to stop promotion. But the way it happened was much more fun to watch :p

i listend to this whole video playing chess, i've just begun playing again since i was a kid. I've always loved chess but no one would play with me, and i never had a computer or anything. I realize i kinda suck, but it's fun to finally be able to test my mind again. KEEP CHESSING

I have just finished watching this video, I put up chess editor from lichess and was following each game at slow pace by pausing and watching the actual game on my board. I must say that your mom in the 2nd game played almost the best move she's awesome!
