Anna, it would be great if you and your dad wrote a memoir of his chess years and games with famous players. People would love to hear his views and assessments of the chess world spanning the course of his career. Your father's memories are an incredible asset to the history of chess.
7:02 in a nutshell is how much Anna loves her Dad. That pure joy from getting a nod of approval from dad, very snice conversion of the game overall as well.
I discovered this channel a few weeks ago. So glad I did. Her whole family has so much love for each other. So nice to see on a regular basis. I love how Anna is around her parents. Such youthful exuberance. The way she looks at them, her admiration and love for them is endless. Plus, she's a sponge around them, whenever they're explaining something. Adorable family. Thanks for making the excellent content.
That was SO IMPRESSIVE! You are VERY blessed to have a father that is so supportive and such a great chess mind! I really hope he plays a lot and in some serious tournaments, His calm demeanor and yet decisive moves is a testament to his skill !!!
I’m not really a chess player, just someone letting FB choose vids for me. I really enjoyed the chess, but even more so enjoyed father and daughter having lots of fun together! Loved that!
This is actually fun to watch... It's always nice to watch someone else spend time with their dad. Holy sh*t... that last match was really good... Even ur dad was surprise by it.
I feel like the surprise might be due to his experience against higher rated players who would have probably foreseen and prevented knight c2, so he didn't expect this to work. Still, great play, I definitely wouldn't have seen it
Anna no sabia que naciste en España jajaja, solo lo dude por la pronunciacion de tu padre, le note un poco el acento español. Es todo un orgullo saber de esta novedad. Suerte y animo eres increible🙌❤️
@@Marnige Hand and Brain chess was originally invented by a GM by the name of Simon Williams. It has been featured in many popular chess channels as it has grown in popularity over the last 5 years. He came up with it about 20 years ago, based on the centuries old idea of team chess; swapping players out every turn without any communication.
It was a trick and the opponent fell for it. If the opponent didn't allow that fork (e.g. attacking the queen that was pinning the pawn instead) it could have gotten far more complicated I think. Nevertheless, a very nice tactical sequence!
Thank you Anna. Love the vids with your dad. He's tops in my book. You two go so well together. Absolutely beautiful. Between his nerves of steel and your excitement, why not call it Fire and Ice or Lords of the Manor. His stare reminds me of Nolan Ryan when he was throwing heat. Enough of my rambling. la fin.
I dont think the tactic in the end works. White has a strong attack if he finds the right moves. I think kxd4 first would be much stronger, his position is then destroyed.
damn, that endgame conversion was clean as hell , GMs are scary
The pressure of playing as the hand for a brain who might have a giant masterplan in mind... I can't even imagine 😄
Ludwig played hand brain with magnus against the botez sisters and it was so hilarious
The brain should keep it simple. XD
Exactly, but he played very well under Anna's command 😂
I think chess players are well trained in leaving the plan behind.
He's si good he's probably double thinking of which are the best moves which she will see anyways
She's like a kid around her dad. It is kind of adorable. :)
She will be forever as a kid aroud her dad , that's a beauty of life:) ))
Having your dad be one of your idols in a profession sense does this to you I think.
so sweet
Isn't that the point of a dad? Lol
To be fair, Ana is probably the
happiest adult human in the planet.
Lol could you do a vid where your dad is the brain and mom the hand? Then another one where they switch roles? That would be bomb!!!
Fr 🎉
I love how excited you got for the little knight manoeuvre trick!
According to scumbag computer, white is actually better after Qc4

Tal once called Bellon one of the most aggressive players in chess.

I see it more as the dad being overcontrolling and a bit misogynist. Like tate.

But he did finished it at the end(his - hands-)

Probably the coolest duo chess I have seen
Your dad's silent reactions to your moves... the wince vs the "attagirl" face towards the end, so funny.
This was so much fun to watch!
That last move was simply beautiful!
Your dad is my absolute favorite online chess player. Sorry Anna, you're 2nd ..... but #1 in videos!
That actually worked out really nicely, seemed like in the endgame it was actually beneficial to have a GM for help.
I like that video so positive) It's pleasure to see daughter and dad playing together. God bless you both
I just love this family and chess yet never met them. Adorable
This is delightful, and your parents are so gorgeous.
Cute video, love to see a good bond between father and daughter
Quite entertaining how your dad and mom talk similarly when they think about moves
This was awesome. Your dad's brain is making loud whirring noises lol. That endgame was like Capablanca easy. Btw your laugh is just as beautiful!
She makes chess seem like so much fun.
Damn this family is so wholesome.
Really like those collabs.

would love to see more of this style of content, very fun to watch two people trying to find same plan :)
I hadn’t heard of hand and brain chess before, this is really fun.
That second game fork though 👌
Your dad is awesome
next video: my GM dog taught me how to beat Magnus
The best part of the video is when you and Dad shake hands after the sweet victory!
5:58 you can actually see Juan's eyes widen when Anna plays Rd7 instead of Re7 cleanly winning the pawn on d4 🤣
What a interesting idea - Hand and Brain chess. It was the most fun that I have had watching a video in a while.
They didn't come up with the idea. I agree this was a fun video though.
Yeah pretty sure hikaru and Kurt did that already

Juan has such nice reactions :D
Can we just take a second to acknowledge that she saw four moves ahead, pinned the pawn to their king and forked their queen?
