The hot glue will not kill brom and harm tree stmup if its a live one?
Appreciate your concern … but trust me the plants are absolutely safe, I have been doing this for years, gradually the glue falls off and it sticks on its own using its aerial tools.. the tree stump is from a dead mango tree.
How can be have functions .roots bromilija if you put glue tha roots..
The bottom portion of bromeliads is generally very rugged dry and flaky … and also it’s very hard … very soon after planting it will start giving new hair like roots all over the glue and it grips the tree branch … I keep the glue temperature very moderate, not too hot … all the best best, happy gardening
How can we stick the plants on the trunk ??
You can use a mild temperature hot glue or use a fishing line to securely tie the plant. Be gentle with the leaves while tying, so you don’t break the leaves. Subscribe and like the video to show your support. Happy Gardening 😊
Can u pls tell the potting mix for bromeliads
Pine bark, broken terracotta pieces, wood chips, leaf mold … a mixture of these is good for almost all bromeliad varieties … make sure it’s not water retaining in nature.
If you can answer, I would be grateful, how much light should there be, Kelvin for guzmania and heather, and can it be watered when it is dry with heather water, or only in a tank...
Hii… pls watch my video on bromeliads here The Complete Bromeliads Guide / Airplants / Pro Guide | Indoor Plant

Bromeliads need water only in the leaf tank… if you water the guzmania soil or media too frequently it will lead the plant to rotting due to fungus. These are tropical plants so higher humidity and filtered light is the most ideal light conditions for these … avoid direct sunlight. Also avoid hard water, the best is rain water or water free from any salts like the water from domestic RO filters.
What kind of tree stump.?
It’s from a dead mango tree …
I loved your DIY...can I place this tillandsia on live tree branches....also i like to know if we can wrap moss around branches...will it help...also can cryptanthus also be placed like this..plz suggest...
Tillandsia grows naturally on tree branches … so that’s the best where you can mount them.. additional moss around them helps to maintin good humidity so they makes it even better. Yes crytanthus grows really well on tree branches … I have done that with great results … Thank you for watching… All the best
@@adorablegreens thanks a lot...sir
I have one question related to guzmania, why do they rot quickly, they can't take a long time to separate the leaves, if water is poured into their cups, and if the soil should be moistened a little, and could food be used for it, which is used for orchids, and when it is necessary to pour supplement, thank you for your reply, greetings...
Most bromeliads are adapted to overwatering, but with guzmanias, you have to make sure you are using coarse leaf mould or planting it in tree bark. Watering or keeping the potting media moist might attract fungal infection. , which leads to rotting. So avoid watering the potting media too often. Water it only if you find the cups near to empty, feed it with npk 19:19:19 every 20days during the flowering season. Orchid feeds are also a good choice.
It means that it is not good to water the soil of bromilia, guzmania and their other species, just pour water into their cup, and you said that tree bark is better to transplant than soil, is it possible to use tree bark for orchids, or write me what it is called? so I would order online, and if you can tell me when it is best to feed the firs after their flowering and how much water should be in the ph meter to measure water hardness, thank you very much for your help...

Most bromeliads don’t need to be watered at all in the soil or the potted media… just make sure there is water in the cups that is formed in between the leaves. Tree bark is a good option to plant bromeliads. The roots are just meant to anchor the plant, they don’t help in water absorption at all. The best time to fertilize the plant is when the spikes start to appear .. water soluble npk 19:19:19 is a good option .
