Sis, I don't know u, but bless ur soul for getting straight to the point and covering all the basics and all my questions.
Amen.
yes she's great when it comes to allllll plants
Amen
Why is she overdressed for a plant video, though?
@@EarthsGeomancer how on earth is she overdressed? She has on a loose button up blouse and even a zipped up hoodie in the watering clip. To anyone else this would be considered typical women's casual wear. You sound very judgemental
I bought an airplant a year ago.. i did research.. and i just put them on my rambutan tree branches.. because its breezy, cool air, no strong sunlight, and safe from my cats.. and guess what.. i forgot that i have an air plant😂.. I looked at the plant just now.. oh wow it has grown big and got 5 adult babies attached.. and it already grow roots on the tree.. 🤯... yeap.. its esay to take care of air plants in tropical countries like mine😀💕
What variety of air you have have I want try it too I also in the phillipines
@@ronminerosenberg im from malaysia.. its hot and humid here but somethimes it gets dry too and have some brown tips😅 my house is near some forest so its quite cooling here
Malaysian here too and thinking.of getting an airplant
@@shahesfelazi8549 you can try having tillandsia ionantha first because i feel it is easier to keep alive😂
Lucky.
Would've loved to see a picture of one in bloom.
Stephanie Stewart yes good call - me too!
Lee the Dragon oh I see - according to you being rude and a tool is what the internet is for! How stupid of the rest of us! Thank you for your guidance and wisdom in this matter.
Lee the Dragon you have to ask? We were saying we would like to have seen Laura’s plant - google wouldn’t have helped with that - and your comment has not added anything to this world or this conversation - apart from to inflate your own ego thinking you have somehow spotted a huge flaw in both of our intellects. Goodbye
Lee Nye The Retro Guy it was a terrible joke.. over course we would be upset
google air plant in bloom
I bought 3 of these a few months ago. I decided to put them in my bathroom, in the shower on a shelf. They get indirect light from a north facing frosted window. Every now and then I spray them with the warm shower water. So far so good. 🤗
I love that! 💚
I soak my air plants in my cold freshwater fish tank ~once a week for 10-20mins prior to changing the tank water. Then, after a water change, I use the fish water as a light fertiliser to water my other 50+ indoor plants. happy fish, happy plants.
Just got my first air plant at Aldi! I am so excited! I walk by her every morning and have a morning coffee chat❤❤❤❤ God is so amazing with His creations! Thank you for the amazing and easy info!
Amen!
Mommy Mission He Is. I never knew of these til my Friend showed me these.
Ameen!🙏 As us Muslims say Subhan’Allah🙏🏻
Amen!
This is my favorite plant channel on the internet. To the point, tons of info, fast... EXACTLY what a plant video should be.
No doubt...😊
I honestly thought air plants were fake plants until I gotten into plants and came upon them in a video and had no clue they were real...obviously after that I had to purchase a few lol
heather jarrell ....the fake ones easily look real though. I have a large fake one mixed in with my few real airplants.
You monster XD 😂
heather jarrell me too till I started growing different thing’s lol she’s right I bet a lot of people don’t know lol
Mr Heather! I've had one for 2 years and just it was fake!!! Now I know it's not and will see if I can help it!! Haha!! Lynn
Oh I love air plants... planning on buying some for myself
busybee27 Etsy has some very good sellers for airplants! I get mine from CTSairplants.
I have made the mistake of killing several of my air plants because I watered them at the crown and within a week they rotted and all the leaves fell off. I have now learned to water them upside down, then let them thoroughly drt upside down on the counter before setting them back up on display. I also mist my larger air plants that are too big to sit upside down for watering once or twice per week. So far I am having success after failing with them!
NatureMan 1 you don’t need to water them upside down, just let them dry upside down
@@Jack-oc2xq Your right my mistake. I should water them at the crown, but let them dry upside down so it doesn't rot.
Its a learning process. I love some of the channels here. Miss orchid girl has great things on her channel. These plants are amazing
And now I NEED to buy some air plants. 😍😍😍
This was so helpful and very informative Laura :-D I am new to Airplants so all this info was perfect for me :-D thanks so much for sharing and sending you and your all lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Ireland XXXX

Great information. I always smile when I'm watching your videos. Thank you!
We love our air plants. Thanks for featuring them on your channel.
I really appreciate all your knowledge and can not thank you enough for sharing it with us. I have killed my share of Air Plants sorry to say, I kept one for a year, tenderly caring for it only to be told it had been dead for a long time. So needless to say your video was needed. You are such a talented speaker, with a pleasant voice, I do not tire hearing it. I am 75 and have tried to be a caring gardener, with a library of books. You have taught me more in the last year than I ever learned from a book. Please keep up the good work we are out here watching & learning. Thank You!!!
I am looking forward to growing these! Thanks!
I learned so much!Thank-you!I really like air plants!
Love the video! Fast talker, smart thinker, loads of info. Thanks!

Most helpful video about air plants I have watched. I just adore you. Thanks
What a perfectly timed video! I just bought 5 air plants yesterday to display in a new dough bowl. I was planning to rewatch your old video about air plants to refresh my memory on maintenance but you guys read my mind! Thanks a bunch!!😁🙌🏼
just got my airplants!!! I'm so intrigued with these beauties!! Can't wait to put them in a glass bowl on my desk!!
You are awesome, this video is so helpful start to finish, thanks for including the bit about cooper too.
This is great. Just this morning I was looking at my air plants thinking, "I really hope I'm caring for them correctly" and then I saw this video in my sub feed. Thanks! Perfect timing.
Haha this was perfect timing! I just found some air plants walking to the store here in Puerto Rico. I always thought they were so unique. I lived in Florida my whole life and used to see huge clusters of them all over the tree everywhere. A lot of people think of them as weeds there though :\
I live in FL with a lot of oak trees. There’s hundreds on the trees in my area, including some huge ones.
Timing is perfect. I've just decided to start a collection of tillandsias. Thanks so much for the tips!
Laura: I absolutely love your videos. I have just started purchasing air plants and this video was super informative. Thank you
That was right on time Laura I was just watering my airplants and now I know how to take care of them much better...Thanks so much!
Awsome thank you and God bless you and your wonderful family
Honestly such a great video! I just got gifted an air plant and had absolutely no idea how to look after it
This definitely made me want to go out a buy a few more 😊
Oh my gosh I owned one until very recently! I got it as a "gift", I was told to take it because the previous owner didn't want it anymore. I was so confused by it, it was in a little bit of sand in a circle glass container, and had no roots. I watered it like I would any succulent. It survived for about a year. It suddenly died because white fuzz covered the base of it over night. Sad to see it go. I wish I had known! What an amazing plant, Earth is a crazy place!
Theresa Kurth the white mold you saw is actually the plant containing moisture, it’s totally normal.
If plants actually start growing mold it's usually because of improper drainage or just plain old over watering lol
Super helpful! I’m going to pick some up this weekend now I know where to start:)
I believe a trip to the store to pick up some air plants tomorrow is on my agenda
Thank you! great video! I am soaking them as we speak!
Excellent video !
Thank you for all the great info on Air Plants.
So good to see another air plant video from you. I remember watching your first one and got very much inspired. I now have a online air plant store called Dave's Air Plant Corner and doing quite well on instagram too. Thanks again and keep posting!!
great video. you were succinct, fast, very informational, and enthusiastic. I learned a lot in just these few minutes, Laura!
I just found your channel okay and I love it. On point no extra talk and a lot of awesome information. 🥰
Woah thank you. You just opened up a whole new discovery to me. And this has made me incredibly imaginative. Thanks alot for the video
awesome video! i just picked up an air plant and im watching it bloom. SO EXCITING!
I just got a box of airplants this week! I actually put it on my channel today also! Great minds.. haha xo Super excited to decorate with them :)
Soooo glad you specifically mentioned copper! Wow, ive seen photos of them mounted on copper and considered my own creative mount. Thank you.
Great video - awesome presentation. Thanks!
You're so personable! Thank you, very useful information. I just got my first air plant!
I've only seen a few of your videos but they are great! Informative, concise- impressive. I like your back drops as well- good footage! Thank you.
Eeee LOVE THE CARE GUIDES!! In Florida, I saw air plants all over the trees and telephone wires! The only thing I found wrong in this vid was when you cut the brown edges on the air plants. I would leave a thin layer of brown while cutting so it doesn't brown further. When you cut into green leaf, it starts to brown again soon!
So they need a lot of water? I only spry them and two of them dye, they got rotten.. I do t understand why, and I have two more and they was really dry… do they need a lot of light?
@@adrianaa4551 soak them for 30 minutes
Always wanted one but didn't know how to take care of one. Now I plan on getting several! Thanks
I really enjoy watching your videos! Your face is just so pleasant to watch because you're just smiling like the whole time.. in every video. which shows how you truly enjoy what you do. it cheers me up every time i watch your vids
Thank you for all the advice this was super informative!!! And I love your hair!!!
Girl, you are Glowing, Great video now I know how to properly take care of my airplants
Thanks, Great video. I have always wanted to know about air plants.
I’ve had a lot of luck growing mine in sea shells and misting them, they soak up more if you mist them in a dish (like a shell). I live in a humid area tho.
Thanks for the info. I bought some last week at a reptile expo cause they looked kind of cool.
Thank you Laura for the great info! I will give it another go. 🙂
I feel really relaxed and interested of what you saying. Good job!
Hi what is this mumbo jizzgoiny
Your video is awesome. Great presentation. Excellent information. I just loved listening to you. .. thank you.
Excellent advice for those of us experiencing air plants for the first time.
Living in the UK on the south coast, the climate is reasonably temperate, with occasional cold winters. Thanks for such a well prepared and detailed video.
This was really interesting and informative. Your videos are top notch!

That was super helpful information! My air plant was super dehydrated and didn’t know what to do the bring it back to life. Thanks!
Thanks so much for this video. I had no idea how to water these. Btw my daughter now thinks I may have a plant problem. She said, "You've brought so many plants that your making up types!"
I love your videos!! They are all extremely informative! Thank you! ☺️

just bought one from a garden in NYC on a whim - thanks for explaining everything clearly! It'll be a big help
Just found your video. You are so informative! Thank you 👍🏻
Great video with wonderful information. Would have appreciated photos of your blooms and other air plants. Great job!!! Keep up the great work!
This video is awesome! Thank You ❤️
Omg this is the second day in a row that I’ve found a hidden office reference in an old video !!!!
“There are basically 2 schools of thought.”
I wonder if sometimes they slip without your realizing it Laura!
Dwight is my dude 😍😍😍
Thats not an office reference. That is a common phrase used in the office. Someone correct me if im wrong
Seth Jones lol watch S3:E21 and you’ll understand... Laura and Aaron are known to be fans of the show and they make references all the time and that phrase, while yes common in normal language is a very specific and extremely well known scene of The Office that highlights Dwight’s character.
Amazingly helpful. Great Video
In Houston I spotted quite a few small air plants growing on some oaks downtown. I was tempted to snag a couple of them but decided to just leave them alone. I love them. One of them had a small flower spike but I had missed the show...it was done. They are some really neat creatures.
I love your videos! They’re super helpful!! You talk super fast though so I always have to rewind and listen again 😅 thanks for all the info
Thank you so much I just got one that is in a jellyfish, it was a gift :-)
Thanks so much, the plant guide that came with my air plant said to *mist it once a week* and it's definitely small and lanky for moister climates.
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I like air plants, and had one several years ago, but really didn't know how to care for it, so of course it died, I would like to try again, and probably will at some point. I love this channel so much you give the best information on house plants and garden plants and all those lovely things we all love but struggle with.
Great information as always. Thanks for sharing 👍😊👍.
This video was very helpful. We winter in Florida, where I can just pick air plants off of trees. They do beautifully for awhile, but eventually die. Lots of good information, thank you.
THANK YOU! I very much appreciate this video! And you look so pretty!
Yay, I for one am very happy with this video
Very informative. Big thanks! ❤️
This was extremely informative
Thank you for this video! I have an air plant and it’s been doing good but I still have no clue on how to best take care of it. This video surely helps
Thank you. I couldn’t find any air plants locally so I ordered them on line. They died. I might see if I can find some more, I love them and wish I could keep them alive LOL
All your videos are great! Thanks!
Thank you I really like air plants because they can grow anywhere.
Very insightful video, thank you! I've just purchased two, for my boyfriend and me, so I'm pretty excited.
Also, your hair is so beautiful - had to comment on that!
