Just got my first air plant at Aldi! I am so excited! I walk by her every morning and have a morning coffee chat❤❤❤❤ God is so amazing with His creations! Thank you for the amazing and easy info!
I bought 3 of these a few months ago. I decided to put them in my bathroom, in the shower on a shelf. They get indirect light from a north facing frosted window. Every now and then I spray them with the warm shower water. So far so good. 🤗
I really appreciate all your knowledge and can not thank you enough for sharing it with us. I have killed my share of Air Plants sorry to say, I kept one for a year, tenderly caring for it only to be told it had been dead for a long time. So needless to say your video was needed. You are such a talented speaker, with a pleasant voice, I do not tire hearing it. I am 75 and have tried to be a caring gardener, with a library of books. You have taught me more in the last year than I ever learned from a book. Please keep up the good work we are out here watching & learning. Thank You!!!
Thanks so much for this video. I had no idea how to water these. Btw my daughter now thinks I may have a plant problem. She said, "You've brought so many plants that your making up types!"
GIRL! You probably just saved my airplants I've neglected for awhile. I moved from Louisiana to Colorado and didn't realize how the climate change would affect my plants. This video helped SO much!! My airplants are currently soaking (I was misting them before). I really hope this does the trick in keeping them alive. THANK YOU!
Very insightful video, thank you! I've just purchased two, for my boyfriend and me, so I'm pretty excited. Also, your hair is so beautiful - had to comment on that!

Air Plants ( Tillandsia ) are Great for those who love plants minus the soil! Thank You So Much Lady Teacher for the Air Plants Care tutorial! Stay Safe & Stay Grateful! 🌷🌿🌍💖
I have made the mistake of killing several of my air plants because I watered them at the crown and within a week they rotted and all the leaves fell off. I have now learned to water them upside down, then let them thoroughly drt upside down on the counter before setting them back up on display. I also mist my larger air plants that are too big to sit upside down for watering once or twice per week. So far I am having success after failing with them!
I honestly thought air plants were fake plants until I gotten into plants and came upon them in a video and had no clue they were real...obviously after that I had to purchase a few lol
Haha this was perfect timing! I just found some air plants walking to the store here in Puerto Rico. I always thought they were so unique. I lived in Florida my whole life and used to see huge clusters of them all over the tree everywhere. A lot of people think of them as weeds there though :\
I had an air plant sold to me as a bromeliad. I bought it because I thought it was so beautiful, but it’s label and how it looks and behaves didn’t match. So glad I figured out what It was! Still need to re-pot it.
This is great. Just this morning I was looking at my air plants thinking, "I really hope I'm caring for them correctly" and then I saw this video in my sub feed. Thanks! Perfect timing.
Thank you so very much forall of that info i love my air plant but didnt know to care properly so im excited now it hasnt died yet its so cute and I look forward to caring for it❤
Eeee LOVE THE CARE GUIDES!! In Florida, I saw air plants all over the trees and telephone wires! The only thing I found wrong in this vid was when you cut the brown edges on the air plants. I would leave a thin layer of brown while cutting so it doesn't brown further. When you cut into green leaf, it starts to brown again soon!
So they need a lot of water? I only spry them and two of them dye, they got rotten.. I do t understand why, and I have two more and they was really dry… do they need a lot of light?
In Houston I spotted quite a few small air plants growing on some oaks downtown. I was tempted to snag a couple of them but decided to just leave them alone. I love them. One of them had a small flower spike but I had missed the show...it was done. They are some really neat creatures.

Theresa Kurth the white mold you saw is actually the plant containing moisture, it’s totally normal.
If plants actually start growing mold it's usually because of improper drainage or just plain old over watering lol

Thanks so much for the info on pups I just found one on my mother air plant outside I hung her upside down with a unusual glass topper that makes it look like an octopus. So excited to have a new one! Been misting mine daily since they are outside. When they come inside I put them in the bathroom to get lots of moisture. Thanks again
Ah, thank you for this!! My mom got me an air plant about a few months ago, and it’s been sitting in the same place for the past 4 months. It’s neglected, sadly. But I’m using this guide to get it hydrated again and make it healthy again!
Good timing...just bought 2 small ones at Garden Show yesterday. A red one and white one sooo pretty. Tks.
So much Excellent information! 🌱 Want to get some air plants now!!
Excellent advice for those of us experiencing air plants for the first time.
Living in the UK on the south coast, the climate is reasonably temperate, with occasional cold winters. Thanks for such a well prepared and detailed video.
