Cleanse hair with lukewarm water, Wear a satin or silk scarf while sleeping, Rinse hair with diluted acv for shine, Use liiitleextra cocoonnoin hair oil shampoo set. This worked for my sister, and she reduced her hair fall with these steps.

My hair is coming along fairly nicely. I did trim the sides a bit a couple weeks ago because I looked like a goomba😂. But now when I let it down it parts down the middle and just chills on a flatter surface. When I started growing my hair out the longest parts went down to my eyes. Now after a few months it’s down to my chin (the longest parts). I’m pretty excited to see what the future holds. Hopefully I’ll achieve my goal of having Eddie Vedder length hair!
Slicking my sides out actually helped me out in significantly. It helps to keep my sides neat especially when I do something nice like go with family to a restaurant.
This is honestly nice to have a dude talking about how to grow your hair out. Not the women's tips aren't useful. Just that these are more tailored to what I need, so thank you!
Okay, so the tip to slick your sides... amazing, totally improved my look and feel. As a girl with mostly long hair my whole life now growing out a shaved to skin, I don't get the whole disconnected undercut thing, but that does not detract from totally solid advice. Love!
For 5 years I’ve had short hair, in 2 months I get out of the military, 2 months ago I shaved my head, I’ve decided that with the end of this chapter of my life so must the chapter of keeping short hair. With winter coming up, Let the growth begin. (Thanks for the videos and the inspiration)
I'm growing my hair out but part of the awkward stage is, should I get a trim? Also what do you do for sideburns? My sideburns tend to grow long, what do you do to keep them short while the rest is growing? I guess we just need a video of your getting your trim/Haircut!
I started growing out my hair when I was like 10-12 years old, one of the best things you can use to help it grow faster is conditioner, and it is filled with oils so if you have naturally oily hair like me, your hair will feel soft as well as really slick
Once you're past the awkward stage (for me that was about 8 months, since my hair was really short at the beginning), it's exciting to see how your hair starts looking quite nice. Do as Luca says and don't wash it every day! On my off days there's no shampoo, no conditioner, no dry shampoo, no rinsing it with water -- NOTHING, except a small drop of gel or oil to keep it smoother. This routine has made a world of difference as it continues to grow longer.
@Palm Coast Adventures Men can wear anything bro. You just have to commit to being judged as a fool. But who cares for the opinions of sheep? Not the wolf. Never the wolf.
Sounds about right lol. Told my EX barber to trim my beard but keep the shape but instead he chopped of 50% of it and gave me a douchebag chin strap. I didn't realize until he was halfway then he had to commit.
@@aryanz41 Don't worry, it takes like a month or two til your hair grows up to an average size. Then just keep cutting the sides and take care of your top hair.
Me: You know just cut a little bit off, just a casual trim. Barber: So you want me to cut your hair till you have a little bit left, with the mustache trimmer? Me: Nonono just a little bit off. Barber: Ahhh I see, you want the soldier cut am I right?
I've been told my hair grows incredibly fast- i wanted to test that out so a year ago i cut it all off and started growin it out. i accidentally fell in love with the short hair and not until a month ago did i decide id like to grow it out more. a month later and its gotten a lot longer- the slicking back sides tip is so helpful too. i have an undercut and its starting to get messy bc of how long my hair is so tysm amzing video :)))
Thank you, my friend. I was really getting discouraged, but I knew I'd find the right video from the right person to keep mw motivated. UA-cam is still king when it comes to learning new things and keeping that forward momentum rolling. @@joshgothard6398 Ive been growing it out for 3 months its really better than i expected... My hair is 3 to 4 inches long my sides are kind of long as well so im slicking them back. My goal tbh is 10 inches so i can tie my hair up
I am growing my hair out I am ex military so have always had buzz cuts and high and tights, I am at the awkward stage now and I am so tempted to shave it all off but I come back here and motivates me to keep going 👍
I‘m still unhappy bc in may the fucking hairdresser started cutting my hair bad and it looked terrible and the next one made it shorter and the last one cut so much off like I lost like 4 months of growing my hair out in length and it still hurts bc I feel ugly now and I can’t wait till It’s the same length again
I've always wanted to grow my hair, im currently in lockdown for the next month and I'm not going back to school till september. Finally I can just grow my hair and have no one making fun of my awkward stage. My hair is currently right below my ear lobe, wish me luck!
I was literally talking in the car about how I was thinking about shaving my hair because I am 21 and going bald, and UA-cam just recommends this to me...
Great vid dude! Man, the only positive outta quarantine is that it’s finally pushed me to grow my hair out. Like the comment around there’s no awkward phase. That always put me off me before.
i've been growing out my hair in the past year or so and i'm thinking about cutting it short again. I could tie up my hair for like 4-5 months now and i've grown bored with it. But almost all your points are spot on, there is no such thing as awkward stage only if you treat it like that, try out new styles or just throw on a hat when you feel like it, and most of the times you can tie up your hair really early just use 4-6 bobby pins and you can make a messy season 4 Eren Yaeger type hair without actually having the length "needed". I actually could pull it of with my hair barely reaching below my eyes, it wasn't comfortable per say but it looked good. And i can also recommend to let go the "classic" big valume hairstyles (if your hair is really thicc you can't really let it go but if your hair is so thicc then you don't even have to try) wash your hair less often, get yourself a matt paste a cream or a light pommade (i found the oldspice one really good despite beeing cheap as hell) and try out some more laid back, styles like the one Luca has in this vid. And really just try to enjoy the process don't count the days it won't help.
First video ive watched on your chanel, and i really liked it😄 the fact that you keep your videoes short and smiling through out the whole video is just amazing! Keep going🔥🔥💥
coronavirus pretty much fucked up my whole schedule, everythings closed and even after things go back to normal id probably be too scared to go to a salon. so i guess ill just put up with growing it for a while.
Emir Kaan i was growing it before the corona thing too but now my hair is like so hard to style i can’t do any hairstyles because the shape of my hair just doesn’t change, it’s been like 3-4 months and i’m still waiting :/
Ironically, being in the military with their haircut policy.Really makes wants to grow out my hair when I finish my military contract. I got 5 more months to finish my contract and I am out. Wish me luck with my hair because I want to not look like my E-4 photos when I get old.
Whenever I have tried growing my hair out the ultimate de-motivator is the sides bein crazy. I don't know why it has never occured to me to get maintenance trims. Rad, simple, video. Cheers mate
Step one: Get an incredible jawline Edit: I tried the backward hair style with the band but it doesn't really work for me, personally I think having your hair forward and holding it with the band once in a while looks neat in it's own way 👌
Three years back i saw this video and wished I had hair like this ,my hair were really short. And now I have EXACTLY same hair like him..not kiddin. Growing out hair was best decision for me and it was game changing....
So, for the first 18 years of my life, I always got the standard buz cut with about a centimeter-an inch of hair left. I’ve been growing my hair out during quarantine and it finally got to the point where it was too much around my ears, it was so thick and long that the only thing I could do was slick all of it back but then it was uncomfortable on my neck. I got the sides down to the buz cut, if not a lil more. And the same to the back and I completely left the majority of the top. I still have hair to style when going out and it’s not extremely messy when I don’t shower/style it. Jus wanted to share in case anyone is thinking that their sides are getting in the way but you still want hair lol
This stage to me is the first grow period where it's only 3-8cms not afte your past the 8cm length once your able to slick it back, if your unable to slick it back your in the awkward stage if you can slick it back your past that stage amd starting to look good like this gentleman in this video...
I grew my hair for 6-7 months, got them long.. Unfortunately I saw a post about growing stages and the first stage is shaving aka starting from scratch. I started growing from 2-3 stage.. So my hair were unequal. Gonna start again.
I'm growing my shaggy hair back out. I was always an inner emo growing up. Lol but always thought I looked better with bangs. I've had mixed reactions as some seem to like me with short hair, some longer. It's annoying. So I'm going with what makes me feel good about myself and hope it helps lol. My face shape is what annoys me about growing my hair out as fat face don't suit my hair so I usually cut it. But I've lost 110 pounds and got another 100 or so to lose. So I'm playing around and seeing. Also trying to find the perfect balance for beard. Clean shaved I look terribly odd. Maybe I'm at a weird weight. Like the awkward fat stage cause sometimes I feel I looked better at 290 than I do at 260. Definitely look better all around than I did at 360 but still. Plus I'm getting older. Almost 31 (cries) . Always had an issue with looking too boyish. But maybe that could work for me. Hopefully after another 20 pounds and hair change I'll notice a pattern that gives me a clue to what makes me look best
At first you should get an undercut and keep your hair long on top It's a great look by itself and you can also grow your sides more But say that you're going to grow your hair on top into a ponytail or else barbers would think that they should cut your hairs on the side of the top of your head
ive had a side part, a mohak, a undercut, 60 40 split, shot middle part, long middle part, a bowl cut, mullet, buzz cut, texture frind, and now a kinda edgar...
It's been 4 months now (since May), and it's taking quite a while. I'm dedicated though, and I oil and comb my hair everyday because it gets dry and becomes an afro if I don't. Gotta keep going though lol!
Quarantine really helped me a lot. I used to have an undercut, my hair is very thin and straight so it grows straight out and looks weird on the sides, I never really got a chance to grow them out without looking terrible lmao. Being patient and maintaining my hair during lockdown was totally worth it.
You're right with that tip about slicking back your sides, but i have pretty curly hair and no matter what i do i definitely will have some hairs sticking out from the sides and it ruins the look
I have tried to let my hair grow for years, I get to the awkward state and when I go to the hairdresser I tell him to clean a little and not cut me much because I want it long, then it always happens that they do what they want, and They cut everything. so now I'm scared to go to the hairdresser but my hair looks horrible cause is not easy straight hair, it's wavy and it does what it wants, a real challenge.
i remember watching this video in like march when my hair was like 2 or 3 inches on top and faded on the sides and then covid happened so i started growing it out with the slicking your sides part to heart and that shit really works cause my shit looks nice af rn edit: my profile pic is actually when it was at its shortest.
Ondřej Novotný right! I recently cut all my hair a little shorter so that I can start fresh and start growing it out, and this video motivated me a ton! And the update picture idea is a pretty good idea to help make decisions about the hairstyling and haircuts and all that!
I’m still trying to find a hairstyle for myself since like 8th grade. I’m 17 now, I don’t know what hairstyle to get. I’m Mexican/Puerto Rican. Has nothing to do with this but since I’m Hispanic I got the Caesar haircut recently or the “Edgar” haircut. Didn’t suit me. When I was 15 I grew out my hair but it was just the top, it wasn’t evened out so it looked super ugly and I just looked dumb with my sides and back shaved with a whole set of hair on top. December I was growing all of it out but I couldn’t get through the awkward stage and my hair just looked like a whole helmet. I have a big forehead so I can’t try as many hairstyles as I’d like and the way my body’s built, no hair styles fit me. Such a bummer.
Damn same here. I’m 17 and basically since I was 13 experimenting with undercuts etc. But im caucasian and have strong, fluffy, but also thin hair which is hard to style and looks ridiculous when styled up due to my big forehead. Long hair, especially a Man Bun makes the big forehead actually even Worse But Im still growing my hair out since 1 and a half year and have reached chin length now. You actually start caring lass about your hair, your forehead and your imperfects when the hair gets longer. Also I’m extremely uncomfortable at the barber and even a video of a haircut triggers my Anxiety, so I said screw it, I’m growing it out.
Hope you guys are enjoying the frequent uploads! Thanks for the love recently

A good question you ask.
The answer is for you to know.

You just have to commit to being judged as a fool. But who cares for the opinions of sheep? Not the wolf. Never the wolf.

@@Nick-up6xi can you show me your pic in UA-cam?
@@Nick-up6xi love that confidence man
i have straight hair and ive been stuck in the awkward stage for like 9 months so far D:
me: cut like a hair or two
barber: *cuts entire head off*
Sounds about right lol. Told my EX barber to trim my beard but keep the shape but instead he chopped of 50% of it and gave me a douchebag chin strap. I didn't realize until he was halfway then he had to commit.
Happened to me today..
@@aryanz41 Don't worry, it takes like a month or two til your hair grows up to an average size. Then just keep cutting the sides and take care of your top hair.
Thats when having a barber friend comes in
Lmaoo thats why i cut my own hair made a whole video on this ‼️‼️😂😂
Seeing more negative comments than I'd have guessed. This is exactly what I needed. All of this was very helpful for me. Thanks man!
Good luck trying to slick back your sides with asian hair haha
thats my problem
Me too man , but try some oil based pomade , it works with me
i'm asian but i can slick back my sides 😂
That's my problem bro but only on the left side because it works on the right side I don't know why. The left side always sticks out.
@@trietminh287 pomade is my best friend in the awkward stage, works wonders.

Lol I’m gonna be hitting that stage soon! Atleast I grew it the top to wear it doesn’t look like a mullet
Me: You know just cut a little bit off, just a casual trim.
Barber: So you want me to cut your hair till you have a little bit left, with the mustache trimmer?
Me: Nonono just a little bit off.
Barber: Ahhh I see, you want the soldier cut am I right?
Lol
it be like dat
Then just go to the hair salon.
Omg this right here!!
Subbing and going to go through your vids to find hairstyling tips that I can add to my slim arsenal.
Yes really encouraging

No lol. Only works if your hair grows right otherwise it looks terrible
@@joshgothard6398 Ive been growing it out for 3 months its really better than i expected... My hair is 3 to 4 inches long my sides are kind of long as well so im slicking them back. My goal tbh is 10 inches so i can tie my hair up
1. stop apptoaching it as an awkward stage
2. maintenance cut
3. slick the sides
4. accessories
5. don’t wash hair everyday
6. update yourself
I'm sure that I'm not the only one that Covid-19 brought him here
Coronavirus got me here !
I've always wanted to grow my hair, im currently in lockdown for the next month and I'm not going back to school till september. Finally I can just grow my hair and have no one making fun of my awkward stage. My hair is currently right below my ear lobe, wish me luck!

It’s hard for me to style my hair because it’s neither curly nor straight
Same it ends up looking like a loaf of bread
Yeah I have super thick and wavy hair and I have no idea what to do. It just ends up looking like a helmet and it’s still growing out and not down
My hair is thick and wavy i just blowdry it .
Yes same😭
First video ive watched on your chanel, and i really liked it😄 the fact that you keep your videoes short and smiling through out the whole video is just amazing! Keep going🔥🔥💥
coronavirus pretty much fucked up my whole schedule, everythings closed and even after things go back to normal id probably be too scared to go to a salon. so i guess ill just put up with growing it for a while.
I was actually growing my hair out before this coronavirus thing was going on, so no one will see my awkward stage for now haha
Cheers mate

Edit: I tried the backward hair style with the band but it doesn't really work for me, personally I think having your hair forward and holding it with the band once in a while looks neat in it's own way 👌

Three years back i saw this video and wished I had hair like this ,my hair were really short.
And now I have EXACTLY same hair like him..not kiddin. Growing out hair was best decision for me and it was game changing....
Do you have a hair routine to make yours look and feel healthy like it does in the thumbnail? It looks great
He has straight hair its way easier to maintain thats why straight hair allways looks healthy
Do shampoo twice a week or thrice
I’m exactly where you are right now in growing out my hair so thanks for this video!
Luca always looks like he can never stop laughing
Thank you this is like one of the only sources that actually helped me when growing my hair out.
“Take a little off the top with scissors”
And thats how I became bald
I'm dying
LMAO
Im so far into the awkward stage that it doesnt feel awkward anymore 😅 Corona quarantine helps though i really only see close friends and family
When my hair is long and I like it I tell my barber just cut a little bit off the top bi focus on the sides but my hair gets butchered
Run.
Walk out next time🚶♂️
This stage to me is the first grow period where it's only 3-8cms not afte your past the 8cm length once your able to slick it back, if your unable to slick it back your in the awkward stage if you can slick it back your past that stage amd starting to look good like this gentleman in this video...
Thank you so much! It’s been difficult and this video gave me hope to keep going!
I have wavy hair and when I try to grow my hair out it’s always sticking out everywhere and I have a lot of awkward horns :(
At first you should get an undercut and keep your hair long on top
It's a great look by itself and you can also grow your sides more
But say that you're going to grow your hair on top into a ponytail or else barbers would think that they should cut your hairs on the side of the top of your head
Try free forming u get dreads and the hair gets tangled wait 12 months then brush em out thats what I did
I am a totally blind guy, and dude, your video was really descriptive, help me think of styles and what to tell my barber. Cheers
ive had a side part, a mohak, a undercut, 60 40 split, shot middle part, long middle part, a bowl cut, mullet, buzz cut, texture frind, and now a kinda edgar...
This will not applicable for Asian. We don't have sharp figure like caucasian...the feelings just weird, I am sad now...
Asians have awesome hair though
Shoni Ranen Yeah...But Caucasian can carry more hairstyles...
@PurpleKlutz Don't get me wrong, I mean white can handle more hairstyles.
im asian and my hair wont change
Yea, my awkward stage is afro like
Nice to see you back in my feed! Keep it up Luca.
Needed this because I was tired if my hair not being in one place thanks
Put argan oil in it when it’s soaking wet. Slick it back and let it dry naturally. When dry style it with your fingers or a hair pick.
I love how understanding you are
It's been 4 months now (since May), and it's taking quite a while. I'm dedicated though, and I oil and comb my hair everyday because it gets dry and becomes an afro if I don't. Gotta keep going though lol!
Update?
oh yeah, tnx for this vid m8, im actually growing my hair out from a buzz cut, so very useful, cheers 🙌🏽
Quarantine really helped me a lot. I used to have an undercut, my hair is very thin and straight so it grows straight out and looks weird on the sides, I never really got a chance to grow them out without looking terrible lmao. Being patient and maintaining my hair during lockdown was totally worth it.
This is like my hair. I always try but then chicken out and cut it short. Lol maybe I'll give it another go if it works out in the end
You're right with that tip about slicking back your sides, but i have pretty curly hair and no matter what i do i definitely will have some hairs sticking out from the sides and it ruins the look
I'll tell my barber just a clean up then they cut my hair ultra thin
Yes
Luca please do a day in the life or a what I eat in a day🥺 love the videos btw

The tip on slicking the sides back really helped me out. My hair was kind of winging out to the sides before.
I have tried to let my hair grow for years, I get to the awkward state and when I go to the hairdresser I tell him to clean a little and not cut me much because I want it long, then it always happens that they do what they want, and They cut everything. so now I'm scared to go to the hairdresser but my hair looks horrible cause is not easy straight hair, it's wavy and it does what it wants, a real challenge.
my awkward stage looks emo lmaoo

Ondřej Novotný right! I recently cut all my hair a little shorter so that I can start fresh and start growing it out, and this video motivated me a ton! And the update picture idea is a pretty good idea to help make decisions about the hairstyling and haircuts and all that!

I never really knew what the so called akward stage was, I Always laughed about it... But now it reached me, and my best friend became a hat
Default Garlic Bread honestly gonna grow my hair out now, just cut all my hair with an 8 guard so here goes nothing
at least you youngsters have hair. everybody should try and grow hair long once in your life.
