Just one awesome family farm good luck on harvest
I have to say between all the generations you all are very knowledgeable & it's great when Dennis or George can give other farmers help or teach them a thing or 2 about equipment etc...
Another great video! 👍🏻
I know you guys are covered up now but make sure Denny shows us his new Corvette sometime
You and Larson are the best farming videos around. The knowledge you share is very much appreciated
That's wild you guys have that much done already
Nice video again! cool to follow your side by side tests to see what is out producing what and what works and what doesn’t. The deer footage was awesome. Have a safe and productive week.

Love watching your videos..
Another great video 👍
@IversFarms. really, that’s great 😂
Bonjour, superbe vidéo avec de magnifiques images aériennes de travail du sol et de moissons, le quad et le salford quel bel ensemble très efficace ,bravo👍👌👏
No mistaking the useful data from having soil samples performed every few years. After a while the averages in fluctuations are easily calculated for a more precise "in-between" years of what/how much is needed to improve yields. Looks like you have a knowledgeable agronomist who is helping you out.
( Great video ) Love see the comparison between the hog manure and fertilizer. great drone footage of tillage crew. Sorry to hear Eli had to head back to his service hope you have great week next week.👍
🔥nice to see everything going good out that way .. sure is some beautiful looking corn 🌽.. Dan the fert man that is a killer setup you have🔥👊🔥🏍⚙️🔨🚜
Nice Vid!
Worth the wait😂
Great job yall.
Keep up the awesome content.
Howdy Ivers
Enjoy the video
Reese, Thanks for doing these. You really do a nice job. We have a similar operation 8hrs north of you. We demo'd the 715 after cnh did the photo shoot at our place. Good tractor, good company. You will be happy with it. This is my favorite TV show. From my sons and I...Thank You.
Turn the fans on, you'll be fine! Love the content!
Lindo video.
Saludos desde Argentina
Dennis looks good. He looks like he has lost some weight. Congratulations. Jim in Texas
Looks looks good to me
Thanks. great video. Awesome people and work ethic. Go team red.. can we fix it... yes we can.
Never any shortage of activity to get it all done!!!
Motorcycle chain lube might work also it doesn’t attract dirt ,just another thought!
On my 620 the dealer always swopped the two batteries around at every service. She only uses the two to start and then only one to run everything. So the usage isn’t even and it’s normal for one to fail and the other still to be good.
Maybe next year y’all can build another bin at David’s so you can have failover when problems happen and hopefully the new farm(s) you bought this year can fill it. Hopefully your bin will be repaired soon.
Reese It might be a good idea to carry one of them little battery run trim saws in the cab with you.
It would be
You should sometime do a video on what when and where you guys do cover crops and youre opinions on them. I see more of it here in Northern Indiana. And one of the fields they did where they let them get huge and i thought would be a problem turned out amazing looking beans.
We will. There’s definitely pros and cons to it
Tool truck feud 😂
Enjoy your videos
Sieve problem seems to be a ground wire issue
Could even be related to a bad wire on your header..sound strange but possible
Thanks for the info on the chicken/hog/granular comparison. We have chickens and corn and have 1/3 of our ground covered in neighbors hog manure. We're lucky we get to work our chicken manure in hot...it doesn't gas off on the field or pile before it's worked in. I think the gasses coming off fresh chicken manure are just as important as the physical manure itself. This was a hog manure year on our ground, the first time it's done better than chicken in probably 10 years. Timely rains but never in abundance.
You
Thanks for the info
Starting can also be cables and connections, get a FLIR camera and scan for hot high resistance connectors and battery terminals. The crimp on lugs can creep corrosion inside the crimps. 1:08
New battery fixed it
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the Video, appreciate the extra effort. It’s different every where with Soils & all, but we always saw the best increase with litter or Hog Slurry in the 2nd or 3rd year of a rotation, it increases noticeable the first 3 years. Just have to keep an eye on Phosphorus build up if you have those issues. Between bean and corn we would see the biggest yield jump with beans over corn but increase in both, especially if you deep apply hog slurry in the fall before beans. I always felt hog slurry was the easiest step to 100 BU beans. We had to commit to 3 years out of 5 with litter or slurry to see best economical benefit. Hope Eli hasn’t gotten sick of J’vile yet, wish him well there & appreciate his service. Enjoy your video’s, makes me want to get back in it again. Few things ever satisfied me as much as 10 to 12 hours in the field in the Spring & Fall. Hope you have a great year.
Thanks for the info
Thanks for sharing your day with us!! And how many miles from home do y’all farm?
45 would be the furthest
Thanks for the concave and grate configuration used in corn. What is your configuration in the bean combines?
2 rounds on the front left and one ☝️ n the right in the second spot
I always seen the best yields the year after we put on lime when I was working on the farm I thought I heard they are going to build a new bridge or something at the old cannon ball bridge? I went there a long time ago and had to pay a toll on the Illinois side that was the only time I crossed the bridge lol
They are replacing the trussel bridge which is the one that doesn’t go over the river
I would not recommend graphite as your Dry Film Lube, instead, I would recommend Solid Film Lubricant (SFL). It comes in two varieties: Molydisulfide (MSO2) and PTFE (TEFLON).
Another exceptional video!
What brand is the headset you and your Dad wear?
Blue parrot
NO NO NO you ask the guy if he wants more chips and then smash them LOL. Or tell them I can make your can of pop fuller you squeeze the can now pop at the top again LOL.
When you change the tips you n your ripper do you check to see if the large shank is getting worn on the bottom. If you take the tip off and push it back on check the bolt hole if you have more than half the hole covered up you have to build the shank up. So the tip stays tight against the end of the shank. You probably already knew that. But just a suggestion. God bless.
Thanks
With what you have done with speed discs, both CNH and Salford. Have you seen any problems with compaction layers forming beneath your working depth?
No, but if we ever think we have a compaction problem we rip it in the fall
Look into an automatic chain oiler we get our combines with them on from factory haven't had to change a chain in years work great for us
I will, didn’t know it was an option
Ya it oils every time you put the auger out has a oil tank by the exhaust
@@dilliondelancey1461 I wish I would of knew about this sooner
They are nice once u have 1 you'll never not have one
Question about the Bean Crew: Do you roll your fields to push down big rocks? I would hate to see your new bean header get chewed up with rocks.
Don’t have any rocks in this part of the country
As always thank you especially Sundays. Do they make a foldable been head? I don’t know if the cost Could be justified.
They don’t but it’s be really great if someone figures out how to do it
Geringhoff did
ua-cam.com/video/DeRLMOl07Co/v-deo.htmlsi=iA04Y-nypWz4jwho
What do you run for concaves and grates in the 2 bean combines?
Round bars on the front two on the left and just the second one on the right. The rest large wire
Do you guys like the salford over the case speed disc or what’s the reason for not running the case
We like the Salford
Traded both cases in. The Salford never plugs up
@@iversfarms ok sure that makes sense
Why did you not collect the bucket before something else gets trapped in it
Do your neighbors that run John Deere combines have issues with them also. I know combines are complicated machines but I would just like to see you have a season without any down time because of mechanical problems. Especially when running new equipment. Farmers need a lot of patients and the Ivers family really show it on your great videos. Did you get rid of your case ih high speed disc when you went with salford?
They all have problems. I think we will be getting a x9 demo in the next week or two.
Yes we traded the case for the Salford
They all experience issues and breakdowns.
It will be interesting what Dennis will think of an X9
Why the switch to Salford over the Case Ih speed tiller?
It never plugs up is the main reason
How do you get your fieldview ipad in the graincart tractor to mirror the ipad in the combine?
Get on FieldView cab ap
Got to equipment then remote view on the machine you want to see
@iversfarms thanks! And great videos!! Keep it up!
Is your digital display cord a 8 pin wired into your isobus?
Yes
@@iversfarms Thanks for the reply, putting UHarvest Pro on a 1721 Kinze just wanted toake sure everything is compatible!!
Why does the soybean crew not have a grain cart?
Not enough guys
How long has Goethe been cutting the beans and your dad does corn have they alway split it like that
Atleast 30 years
Do you guys do fall burn down?
Yes, as long as it stays dry and it doesn’t get too cold too quick
How many Quad tracks do you have?
3 and one 500 row trac
You need to demo an x9 johndeere💪💪💪
There’s supposed to be one coming
First
If you ain’t first, You’re last.
Have you got wild hogs? Here there as far north as Bedford In.?
We do not
What the heck I’ve been waiting since 9am mountain
Got home too late to stay awake so hot it done early this morning
If you plan on continuing on UA-cam you should consider some better microphones. The background noise is not good.
Waiting for some to come in
So what happened to Dennis wife ?
