You Ivers boys are the best agtubers hands down. No advertisement bs. Just real, genuine good people. A true representation of what farm and ranch lives are like. Sunday blessings to you all.
Special thanks to Dennis for his explanations. Season 1 he was a reluctant participant and now it’s like listening to my Dad enthusiastically explain why we do something a certain way. Enjoy him while you can Reese.
You guys do a great job no matter what you are doing. Always taking care of what needs to fixed or what needs to be done. Top notch farm in my eyes. Along with a lot of other farmers that do the same. God bless
One of the best farming videos ever…more should watch…the knowledge and content is second to non Thank so much for such an enjoying experience watching the workings of your farm!
So nice to see how well your group takes care of your land and your family. Nice to see you get along with your neighbors also. It’s getting to be a hard thing dealing with neighbors who show up from the city and try bringing city attitudes to the country. Blessings to you and yours 😁🙏
I would think they'd appreciate the quieter nights 🤔 Of course, during planting, harvest, and tillage seasons, there is the short lived soothing sounds of fine tuned ag machines 🤗 🤠
I glad your showing all aspects of the farmers life. People think yall are all rich and all you do is plant and harvest. Oh wait my food comes from the Walmart.......so gullible. Thank you. From harvest straight to tillage and tile projects. Great show Reese.
I SINCERELY wish that all of you folks that watch these videos would hit the 👍 button!!!! Reese & crew have some of the BEST farming content there is!!!!!
Awesome video again! Amazing the amount of investment it takes to do it right but will definitely be well worth it. George is one tough old bird taking a beating like that and just getting the job done. Thanks again for showing all aspects of your operation.
Looks like you boys had some excellent weather for laying tile. George is going to need a two week holiday at the the nearest hot spring to soak his weary bones after that tractor ride. Lol! 😄👍
Man I love you guys you all work so hard and work together we worked hard like you all but we didn't work together I have to remember your grandfather saying I'm 71 I try to work like I use too but it doesn't happen thanks for taking the time to make these videos you make my week
I really glade to see you are getting your tilling done it been a good dry fall to get all of field work done too.I like Dennis said about getting old I agree with him !00% ,Hope you have a good week next week,🍦
Quite a project. It will be interesting to see the flow from the outlets after a large rain event. Ought to help timeliness of planting and harvest...along with yield increase.
Yeah but when you run three combines and not small ones well they have worked Their way up the food chain and don’t do anything small anymore. Good family channel.
I thought of something to fill in the trenches instead of a dozer. A “V” blade on the back of a bigger tractor seems like it would fill in the trench quicker and more efficiently. Oh, now I see George has it handled, never mind! 😂 I will say, it would really be efficient if you could incorporate that behind the tile plow.👍
Buying land well on Honeymoon that's a great investment in family's future...My dad never invested in land...share cropped 1,200 acres retired in 1975..had a lot of good memories working along side of him...An sure its the same way at your farm...Its getting along through the downs and the ups
Great video. I went from a pull type plow to 3pt. Love the ease of turning around and backing in the hole. You have to plan your corners and turns though as you can imagine with a 3pt
Yea I love the 3 pt. Short runs I can just back up to the next run. I feel it’s much handier to get around with. You can turn with it just has to be gradually like anything with a 3pt. Went from a leibrecht pull type that was like pulling a boat anchor to a soil max 3pt. Would never go back
34 1/2 miles of tile and still you make it look easy ! The Quadtracs seem to serve you well . George runs hardcore ! I'm wondering why he didn't use the 7200 for that task ?
I've been watching all your videos and have caught up to the last one. What is your music called with the guitar, banjo and background backup music. I've sure enjoyed it and would like to hear more. TIA.
I don’t know why Dennis just didn’t say we run JD guidance on this because it is by far the best system. If it was case he would have talked for 45 minutes about how great it is and how glorious H&R is!!!
Hey Dennis, @ about the 9:38 mark you mentioned the idea of having a big tractor with a 3 point hitch would make it easier to get around while tiling. You do know the new QuadTrac 715 can be equipped with a 3 pt hitch, right? I’m sure hoping that when you get ready to swap out tractors that we’ll be seeing some big 715’s on Ivers Farms!! 👌
Back on episode 34 George shows and talks about the real reversing on the McDon head. Where did you get that? Is it a McDon, case or after market kit? We can’t seem to find anything about it.
I don't know anything about tiling because on our farms water just ran over the hill and into a creek. I do know if we had to rip down 30 inches we would be in solid shale or solid limestone; different life. How long would you say does it takes on average to receive ROI on tiling in your area.
It keeps the field with proper amount of water..it drain excess water properly..keep from soil errosion..that way the fields has equal amount of water evenly..sometimes it's good to tile or sometimes it's not..depending geographically
too bad you do not have a angled dozer blade on front of a big tractor and then backfill the mains going along side them i drove a stieger with a blade on it and backfilled tile as long no rocks are in the immediate amount of dirt so doesn't collapse tile
Please go feed that crap to someone else. be honest the government subsidies pay you plenty.. not to mention the cost share programs through FSA how much they paying for “your” tile installation let me guess about 60%. Which leaves you paying for nothing but equipment and labor to install.. real rough being a farmer… toad
Government pays o on tile job such as this they do pays about60% ofTerrence Jo’s to stop erosion a field pattern tile to improve drainage they pay 0 and we usually do our terraces on our own because they a
I just wanted to tell you back in 1979 my dad put in 25 miles of tile in 280 acreas we had to switch over to plastic cuz they ran out of clay tile this was done in Hamilton County in Iowa
You Ivers boys are the best agtubers hands down. No advertisement bs. Just real, genuine good people. A true representation of what farm and ranch lives are like. Sunday blessings to you all.
Cannot be stated enough! Family friendly as well.
I agree!
Agreed ,also nice to the subs slowly increasing
@@paulprigge1209Yes sir. Thankful for it and wouldn’t be watching if it weren’t. Sure enjoy their channel.

Happy Veterans day George and the Grandson . After riding that little tractor all week you definitely get my vote as the toughest Man on the farm
By far the best farm channel on YT. Ivers gang is a top notch operation! Great American family!!!
❤ Ivers Farms videos. Sunday I am always ready to wake up and watch. Makes off to a good day. Thank you all for your hard work & dedication.

It does get old! Folks from the city coming out and they just expect things the way it’s done In the city.

Yes he is he has no fear knew that for years
Great. Well done. Thanks.
That's a huge job and you boys make it look easy. I hope it pays off well for the Family Ivers. Cheers
Another great video Reese, thanks for keeping us entertained.
Reese, I think those two old guys are doing a lot of work at the company.
Need to have one of them young bucks bouncing around on that little tractor. George you’ve earned pulling rank to get out of that job
He is tough you don’t understand
Looks like you boys had some excellent weather for laying tile. George is going to need a two week holiday at the the nearest hot spring to soak his weary bones after that tractor ride. Lol! 😄👍
That was fun! I didn't even break a sweat. George had the 'rough' job.
Another great and informative video, well done!
I am from Barbados that's in the Caribbean for those who never knew, this family is special, enough said.
Awesome video brother
Just amazing to watch to just how things get done! Everyone is always in step with each other to get the job done!
man i cant get over how dry and hard that ground is prolly a good idea to rip it open lol
Well Done 👍
The best money you can spend! Started out with clay tile 50 years ago. Then plastic took over. Much easier on your back!
Glad you getting all caught up, glad weather is cooperating, and thanks for another Ivers Farms quality video!!!
Almost 5 ft lol! Almost 35 1/2 miles of pipe is very impressive, you guys do an amazing job of managing your time and projects
Man I love you guys you all work so hard and work together we worked hard like you all but we didn't work together I have to remember your grandfather saying I'm 71 I try to work like I use too but it doesn't happen thanks for taking the time to make these videos you make my week
Great video. I learned a lot about rippen and tiles. Dennis is a legend.
Love the work ethic

George out there riding that lil Deere like a champ! I bet he is beat up. Looks like some rough riding.
Good work guys!
You guy's are killing it as always Godbless
Another great video! Thank you!!
That is a lot of tile!
Yeah but when you run three combines and not small ones well they have worked Their way up the food chain and don’t do anything small anymore. Good family channel.
You guys should be all wrapped up thanksgiving.
Which is always a good thing
Stay safe guys
As usual great job Reese.
And 200 truckloads direct to ethanol plant - cherry on top of good season
This week should do it on to next year

George should hand that bouncy job off to one of the young fellas. He should spend a day with a massage therapist/chiropractor when he gets done.
Great video Reese
great video reese

Looks good to me
Nice Vid!
Yes, you need to get that man, a wider stance tractor on covering those tile plow lines back in! 😅
My back is sore just looking at George
Reese
Have you all ever thought about buying a road grader to fill in those trenches?
Why? They have a dozer!!
All we fill in is main the remainder the little liebfight disk works great
George needs to fan those wheels out on his back filling tractor so it straddles the trench a little more
What did you guys spray in the fall this year? Valor is a pretty common practice in the fall here in north central South Dakota
Great video. I went from a pull type plow to 3pt. Love the ease of turning around and backing in the hole. You have to plan your corners and turns though as you can imagine with a 3pt
So you would rather have the 3 point there is some curves all right..???
Yea I love the 3 pt. Short runs I can just back up to the next run. I feel it’s much handier to get around with. You can turn with it just has to be gradually like anything with a 3pt. Went from a leibrecht pull type that was like pulling a boat anchor to a soil max 3pt. Would never go back
Is that 29" or whatever depth you're running to the top of the pipe ?
Bottom of trench😊

Farmers are tough, George, and Dennis is proof.
It’s not hard enough for him he has always been an ensperation to me with his mental toughness

It was better, we’ve said that before
Another great video as always.
Is this on the new farm that you purchased?
Most of it. I believe.
Yes
@@dennisivers1602 you are good stewards of the land like my brother the farmer here in Michigan.
His name is Denis as well just one n.😀
Reese, you need to go to the Yukon for bigger dozer 😅

It is a add on from case it took about 4 hours for them to install
Thank you

Sometimes 1 year
Do you all put down fall anhydrous?
I think they went to LN. Could be wrong.
No we are to far south and we side dress now with 32%
Why do you tile? Sorry I'm not a farmer
It keeps the field with proper amount of water..it drain excess water properly..keep from soil errosion..that way the fields has equal amount of water evenly..sometimes it's good to tile or sometimes it's not..depending geographically
Not for Ericsson all the time but to get excess water out ofground tomuchnos just as bad as not enougj
Windrow that dirt in
Why don't you have it on a track tractor
too bad you do not have a angled dozer blade on front of a big tractor and then backfill the mains going along side them i drove a stieger with a blade on it and backfilled tile as long no rocks are in the immediate amount of dirt so doesn't collapse tile
You are killing old George
George is a glutton for punishment, needed tractor with a cab and another couple feet of wheel spacing.
I got lots of pop up advertisements… not making enough farming?
Not really got to pay for the time spent doing this
