    I know wheels are a bit of a mystic art but from experience use the Height offset to raise your vehicle (set to 0%), your strength between 50-60% and with such a long narrow and tall vehicle only steer with the front.
    Another suggestion is fitting a piston near each corner so you can raise your vehicle if you lose a wheel.

      @@sGeeMoney I add pistons attached to landing gears under all my ground vehicles. Makes field repairs a whole lot easier and you can also stow them in your ship that way.

    Drop the 18 small cargo boxes and put 2 more sets of wheels, that should help your power problem.
    Also consider you build a truck that is meant to go on a paved street, off road you need wider vehicles to prevent them tipping.

  • @rightasrein
    @rightasrein 5 років тому +2

    All those containers at the top makes it seem a little wobbly when you turn, I'd widen the wheel track a bit to keep it stable. Especially if you're expecting rough terrain.

  • @mattmurphy1065
    @mattmurphy1065 5 років тому

    You can also add some friction to the wheels and it helps slightly with hill climbing. Thrusters are the way to go though. Just slap a few gyros on, in case things go south.

    If your looking for easy docking on your ground vehicles put the connectors pointing up and down with a piston to adjust for variations in height. Pull in and lower to lock on then the variation from loaded/unloaded won't matter.

    look at the LVSR or PLS. they are larger versions of the HEMTT that are able to load pallets. 10x10 wheeled vehicle. 5 on each side. 2 front, and 3 back. The front most wheels have full turn range, while the rear front is like 50%. In the back, the front 2 do not turn, but the back is able to rotate like 25% of the main front wheels. Obviously that can be adjusted. This would add 2 more "power" wheels, and 2 more breaking wheels. IT may help your rig a little. And if you could figure out the pallet loading system... you could have multiple pallets that have storage on them... all mobile. Just a thought.
