I started playing it from the 2nd string 3rd fret position because its easier for me. Then I tried your way E string 8th fret, and realized that Im complete invalid if I try to play minor scales without index finger. Now few days in practicing it like hell to get back on track with it, I feel my fingers run better generally. Thanks for the step ahead in my playing, and the one before it I never wrote about from GNR songs you covered! :) You re one of the smoothest players there are. Cheers!
