🔥 video by the way!! But I have a quick question for you... Is there a way to loop the sample but still have it hit with its initial attack so for instance I want my 808 to hit as it would normally hit but when it finishes its cycle I then want it to loop at a certain looping point but not getting rid of the initial attack of the sound??
Putting an effect on the program slot is a way to put effects acrossed all keygroups. Unfortunately I will break the bad news of the adsr and filter not being Q link assignable. So no plucks into long chords or variation of an arp over a loop. Keygroup feature on the mpc sounds nice but it's not much more than that. Works better with stagnant sounds with light variation. More or less used to multi layer piano keys over velocities & have the layers triggered from softest to hardest.
@@dbvelocity6508 excellent, its as you say and stays with the last settings, This is such a great video, I've now managed to start key group my vst plugins now im moved from a DAW workflow to back in the box with the mpclive 2. thanks for such great videos,
best video on this function on the planet, new subscriber now ,
Dope video tutorial
Nice! keep the mpc one info coming
Thank you for this lesson. It’s very hard to find videos on this feature of key groups and auto sample. 🧔🏽🙏🏽
You're welcome, thank you for the feedback!
Excellent job, thanks.

My MPC 1 is deeeep. So im always interested to see videos like this. Its a sad day when there is nothing to learn about..
Hear ya, I'm still learning little bits after all this time with it.. I'm getting off the "couch" soon to share some more.
can you save the settings of the keygroup somwhow so you dont have to keep resetting each time ?
Not that I know of.. Though if memory serves, the settings stay within a session so you can knock out multiple all right after each other.
