Jonathan, thank you for sharing this. Things are so simple...once we know how. You make it easy to learn. Good day

Thank you. I have had trouble with students not seeing the annotation bar. I think I understand now.

Francis Harry I know what you mean. I’ve said to people before “can you see View Options at the top of the screen” and they say “no”. It’s because it disappears until you move your mouse. So now I say “move you mouse towards the top of the screen and you should see View Options, now choose annotate”.

can all the participants in a breakout room share in the editing of the whiteboard?

Yes they can all write / draw on the whiteboard (unless the host then disallows this)

Sorry, additionally, when students go to their zoom folder. They can not open their whiteboard or we are unable to all see it for some reason.

Francis Harry do you mean when they first try to open a blank whiteboard or are you meaning when they try and open a saved whiteboard it’s not there?”

@@jonathanforrest9691 Thank you for answering. When they try and save the board. They go to folder, documents, zoom, open, and it is not there.

Francis Harry saves whiteboards (and saved chats) are saved into a folder which is within the zoom folder. Each zoom meeting creates a new unique subfolder of Zoom and then breakouts create further subfolders. I always instruct my participants to hit Save and IMMEDIATELY hit the Open in Folder option which shows for a few seconds before disappearing. If they miss the message just save again. Alway good to save multiple times. If they open immediately they don’t need to worry about trying to navigate to where the whiteboard is saved as it is complex to try and explain
