I like these little choppers for indoor flying, very stable and good flight times.. I still have this exact same blue Syma S107G and a very similar Kmart one I reviewed last year ...thanks for sharing Ryan
You can put a little split shot sinker in the nose and go faster 😂😂. I did it to a larger one and the things must have went 50 mph . It was maybe a 16 inch long one around $60 . Another time we wanted to see how high a large one would go and got it stuck on top of a large pine tree . It’s still there 10 years later , lol .
I got a lime green one today for Christmas! Haven’t been able to fly it outside since it’s been snowing all day, but it’s gotten it’s use inside for now!
Bought a yellow one 7 years ago and really used it alot. Battery swelled up after about 2 years since I use to repeatedly charge it back right after flights. Finally replaced the battery today and literally only just now learnt about the built in charger by watching this lol
If you know anything about cordless power tools the batteries always take crap before the tool wears out rendering it useless. You can get a 5 pack of 3.7V 380 mAh Li batteries and the charger for $17.99.
@u_cube7707 Unscrew the front of the helicopter and you should see what type of battery it has. Should look something like "3.7V 300mAh". All are different, and that's just an example, so get the one specific to yours. Just get a replacement and see if it's to simply disconnect the old one and reconnect the new one. In my case, I had to cut the wires and solder the new one, but it turned out great
I have the cheap plastic one that was my first and I started with. I have since upgraded to the S107G in the Kawasaki green and also a S107H-E in the emerald green. I purchased extra batteries and a charger on Amazon. If you know anything about cordless power tools the batteries always take crap before the tool wears out rendering it useless. You can get a 5 pack of 3.7V 380 mAh Li batteries and the charger for $17.99. The S107G sells for $22.98 on Amazon and the S107H-E is $49.99. The S107H-E is 2.4G and 3.5 channels with A+B so you can fly with a friend. It isn't effected by sunlight like the cheaper ones are. Even so the S107G is still the one to get for the low $22.98 price tag. They last for years and hold up to many many crashes. The first one I got took well over 50 crashes when I was teaching myself how to fly and received zero damage. I did purchase a replacement set of rotor blade kit for $3.99 just in case. I never have needed the replacement tail rotor included yet either. The batteries will need replaced I am sure after many many charges. They will wear out and not take or hold a charge anymore. They are pretty easy to replace with just 2 Phillips screws holding the cockpit on. The battery is under the windshield area where the seat would be. Cut the red and black wires and strip them back. You can solder them and use shrink tube over or use male/female quick connects which makes it easier to change them in the future. That is what I will do when the situation arises.
Great deal just ordered me one it nice and only 22 dollars and free shipping luv the video you done a great job of flying it let me no about more helicopter you no about it bought a few from a hobby shop but did not just long and I payed 50 dollars for each one and I bought 4 in all just threw away over 300 dollars including batteries just looking something that I can play with out so much money
@@johnmichaelreger9233 ok I just got it and it doesnt break and I have crashed it so many times and have got it tangled in a manachins hair and still works perfectly
You could remove the tail boom and make the motor a pusher. The axial main rotors cancel out each other’s torque. Making it fly forward faster a pusher motor will do it.
None of these small helis are going to be great outdoors but make sure it isn't IR controlled for one and secondly I would recommend a flybarless one. Look at the Eachine Black Hornet heli I reviewed a few weeks ago. It is great!
Hi. I have bought one for my son recently. Is that possible to disable or deinstall those red and blue flashing lights to simply make the helicopter fly bit longer? Those lights are quite unnecessary and only drains battery faster. Cheers.
I'm sure you could unplug them or cut the wires but you'd be surprised at how little power those led's actually use. You are unlikely to see any discernible difference in flight time by disabling the lights. Also, the lights are meant to help with orientation and for flying in the dark so most people do find the lights to be helpful. :)
@@plaxoleta123 is that full throttle? If so then it appears it is not spinning fast enough so it is not taking off but rather it is just spinning circles on the floor. I would try to get it replaced. Sorry : (
@@RDsRCReviews I’m not too sure if you can actually fly it outdoors, even in the dark, there might be other things in the outdoor environment that could affect communications between the transmitter and the heli, what if the moonlight interferes with control?

Good job Ryan, I started with 3 channel helis and graduated to 4 & 6 channel helis and eventually quads, trucks and cars.
Yeah they make for great starters!

Thanks John! I got no notification of your comment. Getting that a lot lately!
my syma s107g can't forward and backward please help
Maybe the wire to the tail motor is broken or the wire had a loose solder joint.
what if we don't have 6 double a batteries do we use different batteries
What? How would you use different batteries? Lol Go to the store and buy some AA's!!
Then you go and buy some!
Why cant u fly it outside is it illegal or because of the weather please answer my comment because im buying one
If you watched the video you'd know I explained why you don't want to fly it outside at the 2:23 mark.
Unless he meant the sunlight would interfere with the infra red light on the plane 🤔

LEDs don’t use hardly any power especially compared to the motor.
What's de difference between Syma 107, 107G and Cheerwing? Please tell me I don't know. Thanks
I believe it is the metal or plastic frames but to be honest I'm not sure.
If i purchase two of these, will the signals get crossed?
Yes because it is infrared so I believe they will interfere with one another.
Can we fit a GoPro on it
Lol, no way
