Thank you for your video! I really dig this. I drive a semi for a living 5 days a week and when I get home I come home to my 28 foot duchman travel trailer ❤️ it’s a mansion compared to my semi. But I just keep dreaming about the day I get it on a site and live in it. I don’t want a house 🏡 I wanna live in a camper
Hey Russ, congrats on 11 years RVing buddy! You and Scoobs are old hands at it now. But let's not forget all the people you must have inspired to that lifestyle along the way. Also, I really enjoyed this video because you did something you don't usually do. And that is share some of your personal life with us. That is totally understandable. But this glimpse of your past makes you seem more real and not just a UA-cam guy. Here's to the next 11 years!
You are living my dream. I need a miracle to happen if I'm able to do this one day. You're very lucky to be able to live free like this. Thanx for sharing and safe travels to you and your dog x
Hey Russ, that was a great video. I really enjoyed seeing some of the history and nostalgia. I also liked seeing the pics of Scoobs. I find your 11 years of full timing to be very encouraging. I hope some day to be able to do some full timing and travel. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Russ, I’m looking at some of your old videos. Scooby was a doll baby. What a face on that dog!! He had a wonderful life with you as his Dad! You’ve been at this a long time!!
Russ, It's great to see and hear about your travels over the past 11 years with Scoobs! I'm learning a lot from your videos and always appreciate the things you share along the way. Thank you!
Great story Russ. Happy 11yrs. I just did my 1st solo roadtrip to Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff & Page Arizona over the Labor Day weekend. I can't wait until I buy my first travel vehicle and become a full timer.
I'm a Mainer, born and raised. The best time of year to come up is in the fall, people come from all around to see the colorful foliage. If you like the ocean, check out Bar Harbor - beautiful area, lots of places for Scoob to run!
Enjoyed your story and know the loss of your dad still hurts and because you loved him it always will. Now I know a little on how you got started always like watching your videos thanks and keep going and God be with you my friend 🙏
Gotta love the older motorhomes. They were built well. Stainless steel sinks, Moen faucets and very little plastic. Winnie and I are gonna go full time in the Fall of 2018. I look forward to the adventure - Harold
Hi Russ, congratulations on 11 years traveling safe! Thank you for taking us along on your " journey " this is what RV life is about, sharing good times and a few bad as friends and family. You are the America born classic, RV camping, Born here in the USA. America invented RV camping......many more miles of safe camping
Great memories u have created in 11 years, yes that's the way to see this beautiful country 💫👍, thanks for sharing, ( & sorry for the loss of ur father, even tho some years ago, I know it's not easy, I loss my Mom 7 years ago, & I miss her soooo Much every Day 💫💞😢

That was a wonderful achievement. Good that you honored it with such a great vid. We get the flavor of your journey with your little pal, Scoobie. Very dear and touching indeed. Many more happy trails and lots of blessings. ;D
Awesome 11 years. Since I was a young child my mom and dad always took trips. I also have been in all the states west, south, and east like the Virginia’s south. Been thinking about going to Vermont next year. Oh by the way this is Tim in the nucamp teardrop across from you in Wapakoneta Ohio.
Excellent video! Very interesting to see your past 11 years as a full timer. Congrats and hang in there for another 11 or more years. You had that RV looking great! Now subscribed!
11 years is awesome!! We have been full timers for 6 years, although only have traveled for two of those years 🙁 this was great, thanks for sharing!! 😊
Congrats in 11 yrs! Luv your sweet doggie, she reminds me of my beloved Molly who went to rainbow heaven a few hrs ago, I still miss her. Your videos are calming & down to earth, Ive thot about RVjng, but never full time, I enjoy the perks & safety of my home. Safe travels Russ
Really cool to hear some of your history with RVING and travel. You share so much of your travels, not to mention the builds. I enjoyed hearing your story. Did your dad have a nomad spirit too? Apple usually doesn't fall too far from the tree. :)
Really enjoyed your look at the RV life you have lead. Thank you. Have you or could you do a video showing all the units you have had? Congratulations on 11 years. Life has it's ups and downs no matter which road you choose. Thanks again.
Russ, I just recently stumbled on your channel and I have now watched over 20 of your videos. I am an old Buckeye myself and relocated to southwestern Washington (Cathlamet) chasing kids and finally found a place where I don't have to shovel snow anymore. Where did you stay when you were with your dad back in Ohio? I love your channel and your humility. I really respect the way that you always took care of your dog!!! You seem like a really great guy. Wishing you the best that life has to offer.
Very cool vid, I'm planning on doing the same thing myself shortly, once I sell my business and get some projects sold. Although I plan on having a home base to keep my tools and such at
I know how you felt..excitment..I'm 81 now and working on 16 years of full timing. Don't know what I'm going to do when I get too old..worry about it when I get there
You have probably done a segment on rhis question, but do you have a breakdown of yearly expenses for full timing? Also what did you sell during your vending years at Tyson Wells?
just a little fyi, northeast is not boondook friendly, A lot of rv parks shut down during winter. but if you have a prearranged spot it can be beautiful.
Happy Anniversary! And Scoobs was there for it all too! LOL I am a SC girl, but GA has a lot to see too. They still pan for gold here. Google Dahlonega, GA In the south Providence Canyon is a treasure. Lots of state parks here too.
Hi Russ, I’m slowly working my way through all your videos and I thank you for such an inspirational journey. For my own little part, I hire cars and travel in, as yet, small loops on road trips through beautiful America. I’ve been so lucky to see just a small part of your vast, spectacular country and still the travel bug bites deeply into my spirit. America has become my happy place, the land where I truly feel ‘at home’. Things just feel right, I feel able to breathe and sometimes just ‘be’. I cannot wait for this pandemic to pass so I can get back into America and see more of her vast and wonderful natural beauty. My first stop will be Arizona, the GC, Page, Monument and up into Utah to visit Moab, Bryce and hopefully Zion. Thanks again for all the amazing ideas you have given me.
@@JJs-ClassC-Adventures Hey, thanks. I’ve been looking on my maps. I can head into Goblin Park on my way from Bryce heading up to Moab. Thanks for the advice. I’ll call in. I so love America, that my head is spinning with ideas in what to see. I guess one lifetime is t enough but I’m going to take a good stab at it. Cheers 🇺🇸🌵🏴
I was just thinking "WHY in the world would he go to Montana in the winter? when you said why Montana? I don't know. LOL HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!! Really liked hearing how you started and where you have been. You didn't include any pics of you but Scooby still looks beautiful after 11 years. : )
New subscriber...Loved the video. Can you tell us, so many of the older RV's came with the Chevy 454...over all are they a reliable engine? Do you prefer them over the 460 Ford? You've had a lot of RV's and been a lot of places (awesome) would love to hear thour thoughts on these two power plants. Reliability fuel consumption C6 transmissions over turbo hydromatic's (GM) Would love to get your input. Thanks.
hi...I have alway prefeered the chevy engine...seemed more powerful on hills...these engines are both horrible on mileage...part of RVing...Thanks and see you on the road
Russ have you any stories about the period vending in Quartzsite. I am a retired vendor and would love to hear how you got started and how you found your products and how you sold them in your tent. In 2017 I drove my 2000 Bounder 36s MH all the way from Key West Florida and stayed at the marketplace across from Rice Ranch. I really connected with Quartzsite but only stayed til the end of Dec. Went over to the Tucson Gem Show in Feb.
congrats on 11 years of being free beautiful dog too. Also if your ever in Georgia please stay out of Camden County Georgia it's not a good place to be too many meth and crack heads I was trapped there 15 years was robbed so many times and beat up once for my last 2 bucks cops were no help. Just letting you know so you can stay safe.
Hey... Im looking at a Southwind Fleetwood for my wife, my son and myself to stay in for a few months. Possibly into winter. How do they hold up? Do you have any advice? This could last until next summer.
That is really great. I would like to full-time, but my husband is too attached to our house and his workshop. He has tools that he can't part with. We travel 4-6 months per year.
Hi Russ, liked your video...Im planning to go on the road early next year...will keep my house, but want to full time it to see if I can handle it. I live in CA, but cant wait to see as many states as possible...ps both my parents are form Ohio..that will be one of my destinations too..have you ever wanted to give up the full time Rv life ?
Beautiful story and beautiful doggie! Thank you for sharing ❤

Did you buy the lot for your RV in Montana...or do you rent it?
