I love how animated Cody got with Yoren's story and his defiance of the Lannister bannerman Amory Lorch. RIP Yoren, you were a real one.

Show Yoren was a good change from the book Yoren. Both are great in different ways (same with a few other spoilerific future characters). Show Yoren is more outwardly badass and gruff, a real veteran who's slightly past his prime but still a powerful warrior. Book Yoren is a man who's on the verge of being old, cranky and sharp tongued (maybe even borderline cruel at times) who isn't much of a fighter but is a great leader and truly dedicated to his thankless task (and looks different to show Yoren, who is good looking in a craggy kind of way, being described as little more then a rag dressed beggar who reeks of old fur).
Yoren was a good teacher for Arya. Her second. More to come.
The saddest thing about Theon is that he doesn't realise that his family doesn't care about him at all. The Greyjoys were ready to attack the North, which means they've been planning it for a long time, which means they wouldn't mind if the Starks had to que kill Theon, because he's their hostage and should be killed in case his family would rebel or wouldn't support them
If he wasn't full of unearned ego half his problems never would have happened. To be young.
Yara does in her own way but yeah the rest of them don't.

I've seen Gwendolyn Christie on stage twice. She is certainly tall, but stunning and beautiful.
The mile is an ancient unit of measurement, possibly pre-dating the Romans in our world. I know this isn't our world, but using mile makes some kind of sense.
I love how people forget Tommen and Myrcella, even though Tyrion had a long conversation with them in S1 Ep2.

Cersei may be many things but she truly loves her children. So her going ballistic about her daughter being shipped off wasn't fake.
They did such a good job on the casting for the show. So many great people. Love Dinklage’s performance in this and future ones. He and Lena Headey, Cersei, were very close friends at the time. He helped her get the part. They have such great scenes together.
The other thing that I love about the show (and books) is that all of the characters are given choices in the story that drastically affect their lives and fate. Last season, Sansa could have told the truth about the event with Joffrey but did not. Ned had many last season too. Jon Snow deciding to join the Night Watch. This episode was one for Theon. He could have remained faithful to Rob but chose his family instead. As bad as they treated him, he still stuck with them.

The scene where Bronn and the other guy who are both warriors and physically in their prime have trouble dragging away Pycelle shows that he's not at all physically weak , Tyrion notices it too hence the second coin because she probably had to work extra hard when she was with Pycelle lol .
That's not why he gave her the second coin lol super reach
This Pycelle acting more elder than he actually is, is a nice touch, but it is sad that this doesn't really lead to anything except to point out that "don't judge a book by its cover". But I guess this was something they were trying to point out at this time. It just could have had a "pay off" moment at some time... The maesters in the show are shown, but are generally just glanced over. I don't know if they go into more details about these "advisors" or not as I have not read the books...

I absolutely adore Brienne. One of my favorites. That was the first I‘ve seen of Gwendolyn Christie and was really excited to see her on Wednesday. She is just great!
The Nights watch need Craster because he provides a rest station/shelter for the Nights watches Rangers when they venture beyond the wall! The North beyond the wall is brutal and there is no food or water to be found! So Lord commander Mormont and his men have to take all that S...t from Craster!
I love these guys. Normally, I am very picky about what reactions I watch - I tend to stick to shows I know and/or like. But Cody and Bridget's content is so good, I think I'm going to have to watch everything on this channel!

This episode is out of order in the playlist. It skips straight from episode 2 to Episode 4, and this one is between episodes 9 and 10. People can rearrage the playlist on their own client, but not many people know that.

I think you’re confused about what a Wildling is. Craster and his daughters are Wildlings. These are people that live further North of the wall They aren’t citizens of Westeros.
It's still Westeros, just not the seven kingdoms.

Back then family meant a lot more. Also you have to remember Theon was a hostage. The starks were good too him. But if his father tried anything again they would have to kill him. I don't believe ned would ever do it but still that was the situation. Theon is just confused on who he should be loyal too.

18:28 - it's "Rule in Hell or Serve in Heaven" type of decision. With Starks he is not the member of ruling family and everyone knows he was a hostage. Theon is more of a servant that noble. But with Greyjoys he the heir, the Prince (if his dad becomes the king). He can be either a future king or king's childhood friend. It's a hard choice especially for someone who is so narcissistic.

If some anonymous source publishes them or photographs them, then it can be traced to a particular recipient.

I truly get the hate towards Crasta (maybe spelled wrong), but you gotta remember that this is a long stretch into the northern wild lands... Think about it: This guy is neutral. He doesn't have any alliance or need to take sides...
If you kill him, then you need an outpost. The nights-watch is already understaffed... now think about how many people they would need to guard an outpost deep into the northern territory?
Maybe 100 men or 1000 men? What could possibly be enough to guard against an army?
I mean, it doesn't really matter, since they can't spare even 100 people.
*THAT* is why Crasta is SO important, and it is why they deal with his fucked up ways of life.
I am not supporting Crasta in any way, but you HAVE to think about if you want to support your people or if you want to stand up to people like this... it is a loosing situation no matter what you choose...
I'm a huge believer in cutting off toxic family members, and Theon is a prime example of when that's necessary lol
he knows there are zombies when he said the wildlings serve crueler gods the wildling was craster and the crueler god is the white walkers lol he knows full well craster gives his boys to the white walkers, he does nothing about it so their men always have a place to go beyond the wall.

i wish they had developed theon’s backstory with his family a little bit more so it would be understandable why he turned on robb like that. just a hint about how theon does love the starks but that he has major major abandonment issues with his family and how much it’s effected his mindset and how he deep down wants to be accepted by his biological family.
It's not so much that Craster is working *with* the White Walkers, more like he found a way to bargain with them to survive. It's shitty though.

The actress that plays Margaery, also plays Anne Boleyn on The Tudors. Joffrey's siblings will have a bigger role later as they grow up. Whats funny is your saying so much is happening now. Most people sort of think the show dosn't really start until season 4. LOL. This is all basically set up.
Myrcella doesn't play a huge role later on. Tommen yes

How do you not trust Varys after seeing the Ned Stuff? He knew Ned was a good man. He counseled him to do what he had to do to save his daughters and his own life. If Joffrey hadn't lost his shit, Ned would be at the wall. Sure, Varys is no hero, and he doesn't take big risks, but at this point, I really believed that he's a good dude. He really does care about the realm. He was once a small folk kinda guy. Try to see things from every perspective, in this show. Every single word spoken has deeper meanings upon deeper meanings. Varys plays a part at court, just like everyone. But so far, have you ever seen him do something bad against anyone else? You're preconceived notions 27:15 (and I mean that super lightly, not negatively) are clouding your judgment. Everyone always wants to kill the poor spider, not taking into account how valuable they are. They quietly help us out by getting rid of terrible pests. They actually do make our world a better place.
