Sir i have a question ⁉️ can spherical power reduce .
One patient come at my shop.i test him and the prescription is -4dsph both eye . I have done duocrom and give him best sphere. But when he go to a doctor and he give him _4.50 dsph and he told the patient the spherical power not reduced and when i rechack and do duocrom the power is over corrected.....

I went for eye test , my eye got tested and power measured before my eye dilated were -2.25 and after this my eye got dilated and it. measured -1.75 , the variation in measurement of my eye power changes why?
for both eye -.50 deviation, they checked correctly??
Sir how we differentiate between amblyopic patient and low vision patients? Is both are same ?
Shukla ji…if a patient has visual acuity of of 6/18 or less in better eye and visual field is 20 degree or less in better eye after every possible optical and surgical treatment..then that patient is of low vision.

amblyopia is functional irreversible loss of visual acuity . so if it can be corrected with prescription glasess ..its not amblyopia .

Now we have working distance power in both as per your story. Mines made to our pass come in vertical direction + 0.50 and horizontal side come in -0.50 ab as per your story we choose spherical power from the mean, we make it - 0.50 power shp power ab we have to find the gap which will be our cylinder ab We found out the gap of - 0.5 to + 0.5 and took out our gap of 1.00, now it is in plus form, hence we added +Plus to our prescription of +1.00 and made our prescription - 0.5 spherical +1.00 cylinder and which Axis of spherical is there, our prescription will have access to our Axis of horizontal is 180 to now our prescription is -0.5 spherical +1.00 cylinder Axis 180 but sir my question is that if we transpose it then it is also mines plus. How is it transposed to transport and the bad number comes from +0.50shp to -1.00cyl 90? sir this is not in our understanding @optometrywithkurram

Sir ..on the latter case with the left eye correction of -9.00/-0.50 cyl..how long will you prescribe the partial correction before giving the full correction with patching
Should we dispense both the 1st and 2nd mode of treatment on at the same time or give the partial for a certain period

Sir which eye to patch lazy eye or the normal eye...a bit confusion because patching the lazy eye will make it more worse... isn't it to patch the normal eye?
A complete module is there at optometry with khurram watch and clear your concepts. As your questions is concerned we will always patch the normal eye.
Hi sir, I tested one patient Yesterday , in duochorme test I founded 1.5 sph in RE , in binocular balancing test when I put + 1sph , he read 6/12 , then I added -0.25 to get visual acuity 6/18 , I gottwo different results out of these which is one best?
My 7 year baby has sp 0 cyl -.75 in right eye
Sp -3 and cyl -1 in left eye
What is the treatment
A petient can expect how much variation in power between with and without dilation of eye in eye test
Sir if we have to patch good eye means right in 2nd method then what's the need of prescribing full correction in R.E ?
Instead of patching we can use fogging lens in place of full correction in R.E which also patch the eye..
In other L.E full correction as u said...
..because patient have to use his L.E only during amblyopia therapy.
Yes i have already faced this question in my more than every class.
And i always answer that the cost of plane lens and powered lens is almost same..so use powered lens..and this powered lens can be used for future use..in your permanent glasses.
And yes you use a plane lens in patched eye as well in amblyopic therapy glasses.
