Excellent video! I recently had the opportunity to attend the weekend NCRC introduction to cave rescue in Baker Nevada and had a great time learning the rescue side of the sport.

There hasn't been a national standard vertical training program in the US. Most cavers learn from reading books, fellow cavers who might be willing to teach them, or perhaps a local grotto will sponsor some sort of training (although this is rare). The NSS is in the process of creating and launching a new US-wide initiative to fill this need that is called the Vertical Training Commission (VTC). To date there has just been one pilot weekend training session but there will be many more in 2023. I will release a video soon that explains all of this and shows clips from the pilot training event. You can learn more here: caves.org/vtc/

Where are you? The Huntsville Cave Rescue Unit in AL has an SRT course. I took it and it was fantastic. We have people travel for the class out of state, it’s that good! The HCRU has other classes as well.
