Very nice! I started with willow several years ago. In our dry climate they survive, but would struggle greatly without irrigation. The following years I have been on a quest to find productive drought tolerant trees.
I have used Premier 1 fencing for my chickens, but our soil is so dry during the summer that most of the metal prongs on the fenceposts don't go into the soil :0 I step on the metal prongs, and they bend, instead of penetrating the soil.
I took alot of willow cuttings. Very easy to root. I'm going to plant it out for my silvopasture
