I quit my television cable like 5 years ago already.. Regular television is 10 minutes video, 10 minutes commercials, 5 minutes of repeating what happened before the commercials, and then the same over again. And when you are awake during less normal hours, there is really no normal content on the cable. Only fortune sayers and porno-telephone line commercials and Telsell. I don’t understand why people keep paying for that.
young man I commend you In your planning and construction , I am married to a pipe fitter for 27 years , and was married to a welder for 16 years (beautiful minds both of them )If I was your mom I would be so proud !I am watching all of your you tube vids.
I was wondering about the hand rail, how you made it so perfect. The plastic was a great choice and you're more likely to use it if your hand won't stick to it.
Greetings Andrew, I’ve been couped up in my house due to the virus and came across your channel. Been binge watching tour videos in no particular order. Appreciate your mechanical skills and follow through. God bless!
I saw the most recent one early this morning and immediately started watching all of them from the beginning. (I can't get stupid UA-cam to play them in order, just initially sort them in order, but a 2nd tab does the trick) I wish I had half the toys this guy has!
I don't say this to dudes. But man, you are amazing! I'm seriously impressed you're doing this all by yourself, I've just watched 3 of the videos and I'm gonna watch all of the ones I can find on your project. Thanks 'Brotha.
@AstronomyToday Nah man. Like what if you were donating blood to a dude right? And later that blood ends up being part of one of his erections? That is just super gay dude
Andrew is just incredible! Need a second spiral stairway, just build it. Has room for him & buddy to carry welder up/down in it. Levi always available for consultation. LOL. I predict Andrew a future 60 Minutes, 20 minute segment, probably doubling his subscriber numbers. Just like movie reviewers Siskel & Ebert, he has created a market that did not exist before.
I'm glad you removed the dog from the shop when the welding was done, I did ornamental iron work and pipe fitting for almost 10 years and I can't tell you how many nights I suffered with burnt eyes from the welding. Yes, I wore a welders mask but sometimes when you're working with someone, you still catch stray flash. I found that peeling a potato and putting 1/2 in each eye works until a doctor can give you the magic cream. When I went to the eye doctor, he told me that I boiled the outer layer on one of my eyes, so I've been wearing glasses ever since. I love dogs and just lost a favorite furry friend of mine in December of 2019. So thank you for thinking about your dog and your dogs vision. Oh, and great work by the way. Iron work is definitely for manly men. I got over my fear of heights standing on an electric scissor lift raised 20 feet standing on a 12 foot ladder and using a 4 foot pipe wrench at ceiling height. Take good care of yourself, when you turn 68 like me, everything you have hurts, so to avoid any pain, just don't stop working. Being stationary will kill you.
Thanks Andrew. You gave all the information necessary, now I'm going to build one! See you can teach an old dog new tricks, if the young dog knows what he's doing
At 64 I wish I had half the skills you do.....I love the equipment end of life....should have purchased used instead of rented to develop my place....hope the young folk out there can learn a thing or two from you! A college degree is not always necessary to find happiness in life!
It's so freaking cool to see ya create this whole thing! Thanx for sharing your experience with us and maybe someone else will get great ideas from this!! 👍
This is fascinating. I am loving this whole series. Technically, though this is not a spiral staircase (even though everyone calls them that), because a spiral is a curve with a constantly increasing radius, like a nautilus shell or a spool of tape. This is a helical staircase because it has a constant radius. A three dimensional curve of constant radius is a helix.
I have a mountain here in Iceland which i need to lower by 400 meters. I guess i will get Andrew to do it. No problem and he would do it in no time. Love your vids and your enthusiasm.
Awesome video Andrew! I like you wind up doing a lot of building projects all by my self. I like the way you had a simple design which was easy to follow and you didn't waste time with a lot of particulars. For folks that might struggle a bit it would have been nice if you would have laid out stair spacing horizontally, bolster height and how you attached them. But that was a great job made simple!
Good idea using poly pipe...I’ve used it to make outdoor arch ways by putting a couple stakes in the ground and curving each end over each stake. Also used bigger diameter poly to build green houses
Nice Miller. Does the job well. I have a little cheap hyl inverter welder with 75/25 gas seems to be ok for a 100 dollar welder. Dont use it too often but when I need it's there. Great job on the spiral stair design.
!!AWESOME!!! I JUST FOUND YOUR VIDEOS AND ITS EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD DO WITH MY OWN HOME! AND YOUR STAIRCASE IS DAMN AWESOME!! I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF IT!!!
Hi Andrew Great build I am a welder as well and love creating things I enjoy your videos. I built a sprial staircase for a guy's camp and used rebar for the railing has a grip to it and is inexpensive and you can buy different sizes to suit your needs. Just thought to mention.
I came across one of your videos earlier today, and I just cant stop watchign them now.. Your amazing bro and Im just FLoored by your castle :-D Thanks for sharing :-D
Love Lev playing in the snow. I was wondering how those stairs were made now I know. Thanks, Andrew you are a very good worker. If I had a construction Company I would ask you to work for me. But I am retired.
J McCracken give him more capital! You two could be partners...YOU the inside man coordinating drops, jobs etc. AC stays in the field as the Maestro of the metal. That's sort of how I (A: 73..retired) did it. I was in the field 12hrs a day staying on top of issues etc. I fell into the role by dint of having to catch infield-fly balls all the time. That's where $ is made by not letting $ be lost. I love AC's biz model. He has to be the entire Orchestra. Someday his perspective might change and when it does he'll have jockeys on every piece of metal every possible hour of every possible day. Billable hours for others..billable hours for his investment ground etc...a sawmill..a retail shop (which is more to promote the brand than anything else). But..he's ten to twenty years from that..w kids to fill the slots and read his sheet music. A mega millionaire to be? Of course..his best piece of "heavy metal" is between his ears. It's stunning to watch him. People..for a nice base pay..will let him leverage their talents to further-leverage his. When he went to Lowes to pick up the Sakrete? Only for a mental break. Otherwise, in his area, if you look at employment stats and demos (which I have) he can stitch together a formidable 'posse of skills' working for him, flexible as to hours etc, who can do anything..be anywhere. Local suppliers will bend over to support AC. Lowes would have delivered on a favorable basis that Sakrete. Yrs ago my lumber yard took real good care of me. AC can be the floating welder/ mechanic etc to keep the wheels spinning. His job? To look at each operator's tickets vs work-in-place. Seems to me he should look to his quarry for mechanical help when he needs to be in two places at once with tools. The deal? His stone, concrete business etc. He barters his biz-quantity against his other needs from them. They need him! He is a heckuva guy. But he can be part of Regional-Troika of talent, probably against older men/women. At thirty I was aligned w men twice my age. AC, if he chooses, and ONLY IF HE CHOOSES, can likewise take on the region. It is a tourist destination and he should start cut-and-fill of lousy topo ground..pop appropriate dwellings on them for seasonal biz etc. First and foremost? His machines groom and prep the site pads. A partner takes care of the retail-biz end. Like so many people watching this channel, builders and developers are intimidated and in awe of excavation skills. AC HAS THIS TALENT. If he takes the intimidation factor out of projects at the front-end, land-development level, he will have power players eating from his hand. He not only gets to do HIS THING, but he'll get a piece of the backside as a thank you for taking land development's inherent risk out of the equation. I know I've gone on a bit here, but AC is on the precipice of truly great achievements..beyond those already done by him..if he chooses. When I watch these pieces of land I go back to being in business and wanting to watch him soar.
Spirals the wrong way. You don’t have right hand peek in a medieval sword fight defending your home from invaders coming up the stairs. Your swing would be blocked by the center pole
You are skilled, man you should have made that an elevator shaft instead of a stairwell. Nice work on the entire place, it's truly amazing what you've built.
Ya they are cool. I can only imagine the party crowd that gathers when you give the go for hot tub night. I bet your friends absolutely love up on you, not the ones who helped you build it of course.
Tall constructions need not only be strong, but light. There's no point having something rated for a ton of weight when the construction standing above it weighs 80 tons.
Spiral stairs can be done in many ways, and yours look great! If I could offer a simpler, and cleaner looking design.... Have the fabricators cut a radius on the inside of each tread to match the main pole. Then you prep each tread by welding a single picket to the back right corner, as well as, a short picket w/foot under the front outside edge of the first tread. Weld the first tread to the pole, using a chain vise-grip around the pole to hold the tread up. Move the chain vise-grip up to the next mark, set the next tread on top bringing the tread nose forward meeting the picket of the previous tread, and weld it up. And so on, and so on. It would save some material, fabrication time, and look cleaner. Just a tip. You do great work!
If the spiral rotates the other direction, you have the wide part to your right hand. This makes defending the castle easier since you have the higher ground and the enemy has the narrow part to their right side. :)
I used to drive a moving truck. I for the most part would only carry the boxes. Still I was up and down stairs a great deal. I hate spiral staircases. When it comes to moving something big up them it is a huge pain. Still they do look nice

I used to watch National Geographic and Discovery, you are more interesting and no commercials.
That's exactly what I want to say
Welcome to the club.

I used to watch Discovery and National Geographic, Andrew Camarata is more interesting and no commercials.
You should support him by watching the commercials or at least let them play. He deserves it.
Andrew from fixing old jet skis to this castle. Your a genius.
young man I commend you In your planning and construction , I am married to a pipe fitter for 27 years , and was married to a welder for 16 years (beautiful minds both of them )If I was your mom I would be so proud !I am watching all of your you tube vids.
laura smith thanks.
Love you momma ❤
AstronomyToday I’m saying there’s an obvious attraction to the men in the trades!
Still following?
I was wondering about the hand rail, how you made it so perfect. The plastic was a great choice and you're more likely to use it if your hand won't stick to it.
Dog approved. This whole build is so awesome.
he should put some carpet on the stairs for the dogs. Would give them better grip.
when will we get a tour of the building? 2019 style

Classic, who wouldn’t want a castle. Amazing project. Best of luck from Sweden.
Me: Hey Andrew, how did you build that spiral staircase?
Andrew: It wasn't too difficult. Just did it *one step at a time!!!*
get out
Ugh 😑 LoL
LoL
The spiral staircase has just been finished in the next part, called “Finishing spiral stairs.”
Andrew is just incredible! Need a second spiral stairway, just build it. Has room for him & buddy to carry welder up/down in it. Levi always available for consultation. LOL. I predict Andrew a future 60 Minutes, 20 minute segment, probably doubling his subscriber numbers. Just like movie reviewers Siskel & Ebert, he has created a market that did not exist before.

great work mostly impressed you did it alone
At 64 I wish I had half the skills you do.....I love the equipment end of life....should have purchased used instead of rented to develop my place....hope the young folk out there can learn a thing or two from you! A college degree is not always necessary to find happiness in life!
It's so much cool watching you work. I can't wait to see more!
It's so freaking cool to see ya create this whole thing! Thanx for sharing your experience with us and maybe someone else will get great ideas from this!! 👍
I didn’t realize you started this addition over three years ago. Since I’ve been watching you do steel work and concrete work lately. Cool
That's a really smart design. I like that you don't have to have any outside support because of the shape you chose for the step itself.
I think we should call it what it really is: a Rotini Staircase.
Skill Collector
I prefer Fusilli, but this spiral might be Rotini and the smaller one is Fusilli.
Now I am hungry.
there's always one ;-)
Technically correct, the best kind of correct.
This is what is is..something to get from point A to point B...See Ya
I have a mountain here in Iceland which i need to lower by 400 meters. I guess i will get Andrew to do it. No problem and he would do it in no time.
Love your vids and your enthusiasm.
Great work. Almost the last man on earth. Very nice accumulation of capitalistic tools and industrial mojo.
Your workmanship is sooo awesome. Love your dog. Best sidewalk super EVER!!!
Your hands on and talents are endless!
This is one of the coolest buildings I have ever seen
to say that this channel is 'pretty cool' is a huge understatement.
The music combined with his talking in this video made it very speciel. i liked it alot. i love andrew's videos.
when will we get a tour of the building? 2019 style
Sir Diesel I would like to see that video
I think 2020 style will include newly added atomic shelter 400 ft deep in the mountain behind 😂
wow. love what you've done with the place. =^-^= thanks for sharing your time experiences and videos with us. looking good.
spacystacy51 .
Love what you have done the stairs are so cool can't wait to see finished all way to roof.

That 2nd floor looks cozy, with sofas and carpeted and all.
Wow, impressive skill and endurance! Thank you for uploading!
Watching this video again, some I watch more than once!
Good for you to do the stairs yourself. Tough job.
Jeez.. what tool have you Not got Andrew!! Way to go... Man after my own heart
Nice Miller. Does the job well. I have a little cheap hyl inverter welder with 75/25 gas seems to be ok for a 100 dollar welder. Dont use it too often but when I need it's there. Great job on the spiral stair design.
Man, you really can't beat a MIG welder for just-get-it-done production.
🤩 wow...that whole building is one of my dreams designs!
You've done an Herculean Work and a Man's Job ! Great deal, indeed, Fantastic !!!
you have some great ideas, you just taught me something ive been curious about for ever.thank you.
Speechless. Amazing work.

HI
i Andrew, amazed what you had done many things, I adored your designed the door and metal plus door hand fixtures, applauded your incredible ,
You are truly a very clever young man have watched hours of your videos and really enjoyed them🏴🚜😊
VERY substantial. Would love to build a stair like this.

Wow, that was so cool, most impressive skills. Can't wait to see the end result of your huge project.
Genius idea with that hand railing!
Spirals the wrong way. You don’t have right hand peek in a medieval sword fight defending your home from invaders coming up the stairs. Your swing would be blocked by the center pole
Well, in this case you wouldn't have a level entry to the building at all, but an external ladder which can be destroyed
You are amazing with all the things you do! do you every stop!
this is freaking awesome! amazing work!
I really like the staircase design.
That castle would be A GREAT night club!!!
I am amazed at what you can do with all the right tools at a young age. You have so many skills and can do so much. Where do you get the time? LOL
You are skilled, man you should have made that an elevator shaft instead of a stairwell. Nice work on the entire place, it's truly amazing what you've built.
Southeastern Ohio Homestead thanks. It kinda was an elevator when I had that lift in there. I like the stairs better.
Ya they are cool. I can only imagine the party crowd that gathers when you give the go for hot tub night. I bet your friends absolutely love up on you, not the ones who helped you build it of course.
Keen eye for traction too. Respect from Canada
only change i would make, replace the box section on each tread with round so it has a nice smooth centre nule post.
Pretty cool... even the dog liked it!
Seriously impressed. I also love the NA drums in the background. Adds mood and depth.
You are so good, Andrew. Expert. PhD.
The staircase is awesome!
A Monumental Journey always begins with the simplest of the first step.
You are awesome! Can you do a video explaining why you built it and I am so impressed wit your skill level.
I'm very very impressed andrew, Great job.
ive been watching your shows for the past 3 days. its 3 degrees here in Kansas City Mo.
You make it all look easy!
very nice stairs.........hey....very cool lounge upstairs......elevator next ??
That background music is something else!
Truly. One of your masterpieces!
Great Video! You oughta stick Dynamat or some kind of sound deadener under each step. That will really help! Nice Work!
Pretty awesome!! Now you just need an hydrolic actuator for each step,to fan and stagger them as you go up and down, lol
I have great respect for your achievement! This is amazing!!!
Thing is with Yr vids, they ain't boring with desperate chat, just to the point👍
Cracking job Andy
Nice work! I would love you to do a video on mig welding.
Tall constructions need not only be strong, but light. There's no point having something rated for a ton of weight when the construction standing above it weighs 80 tons.
Love it when you use the indian drumbeat as sound track
Respect to your work ethic brother!!👊👊💪🏼
How to be a boss.
That place is awesome!
Never ceases to amaze….
Happy new year. The stairs are coming out nice, keep up the good work.
Spiral stairs can be done in many ways, and yours look great!
If I could offer a simpler, and cleaner looking design....
Have the fabricators cut a radius on the inside of each tread to match the main pole. It would save some material, fabrication time, and look cleaner.
Just a tip. You do great work!
Excellent work Andrew......👍
A friend mentioned free fusion 360, I do not know if it's better or worse than google. Thanks again for your wonderful videos.
Your dog really loves you
Beautiful work man.
I love how your garage is a castle.
If the spiral rotates the other direction, you have the wide part to your right hand. This makes defending the castle easier since you have the higher ground and the enemy has the narrow part to their right side. :)
Благодаря таким "психам")) продолжает вращаться планета Земля! Respect
Impressively done vid and good work. I have to build one off side of my house,,, now I'm inspired. Thanks
Thanks. Yeah, do it.
Even Levi seems to be enjoying himself!!!
dude... amazing job
I dont know how you learned how to be such a renaissance man but Jesus!!
I used to drive a moving truck. I for the most part would only carry the boxes. Still I was up and down stairs a great deal. I hate spiral staircases. When it comes to moving something big up them it is a huge pain. Still they do look nice
Carrying stuff up this one isn't bad because its like 4' wide. But I can easily fork lift big stuff stairs in this building.
I'm pretty sure one of these custom built will be our next home.
Hi Andrew - Do you sleep in this bldg? If yes, aren't you concerned about the the fumes from the machinery/trucks seeping into your sleeping quarters? It can't be healthy sleeping in a garage setting can it? Why didn't you separate your living quarters to ensure fresh, safe air quality?
