I think what happened with the timer was that since akuma doesn't have that much health, and doom does, the half bar of doom plus whatever little that Phoenix has put Champ over Justin in terms of health.
The way that happened was he xfactor and raw tagged in doom...because phoenix has a lower base health and with xfactor 2 up she regenerated almost all of her red life in like a second... Putting him slightly over the overall percent health advantage... It's a good thing to do if people are afraid of her, just bring her out and whittle them down and take her back out and regen the red life to keep the percent advantage.
+Elijah Santos 3rd best. Chris G and J Wong are slightly better. Chris usually owns Champ but they are still the 3 emperors so of course Champ ran through the team. Idk why the commentators where so surprised. Once Wong went down the rest was a forgone conclusion

mike doyle It is a lot of one touch kills but once you get to the highest tier it wraps back around to being about neutral. Just look at the JWong/Champ set. That was almost constant attack and evasion and yes once the hits come it's unforgiving but you have to be impressed at the level of skill required to do what they do there. That plus the spectacle of it (flashy characters with flashy moves) are why I think people like this game.

Character Health stats don't matter it's the ratio. A full health Phoenix can win a time out over 3 low health characters
