Went there in October was really good but most of the zoo was locked off due to renovation..will be going back next year
Yes, this zoo dates back to 1888, and although obviously the instalations have been renovated over the years, the current ones are mostly from the 90s, when the zoo had its peak.
Nowadays, there are works over the 2 old dolphin spectacle pools to tear them down, at the reptiles building... basically half the zoo xd
But the other half is mostly completed and you can see how it will be when finished, and it's really great in my opinion (the Sahara zone, the Komodo dragons, the orangutans...).
@@pizzaipinya2442 I cannot wait to go I'll admit I was disappointed that half the zoo was closed but what I saw I still had fun
@@pizzaipinya2442 yes I saw the Komodo dragons and the orangutans...I did like the flamingos the most tho for some reason there's a peace about them
