Just come here after finishing season 1. I know im late to the party but holy heck its a good show. The 1st episode of breaking bad was superb, but the show lingered on for too long and a lot of stuff was too zany or overwrought and by the end i was just 'ok, we're done with that, what a pity'. (man, i was over jesse a long time before the last season). So far Ozark is clearly the better show. One of the best, if not the best drama/suspense shows ive ever seen. I cant recall anything else off the top of my head at the moment. I've liked Jason Bateman for a long time, always enjoyed him, and realized at end credits he directed. He's exec producer also. Great work from everyone involved too. I hope season 2 & 3 are just / nearly as good! Great shows are a rare breed.

Jason Bateman was a consummate actor from a young age. Watch the Hogan family series 6 “the best of friends, the worst of times”. His speech in the last five minutes not only has been crying but I get a pain in the chest and I have seen it twice and I am a grown man not given to displays of emotion.
