  • My chewy New York style Biscoff butter cookies recipe is AH-MAY-ZING! I'll show you how to make NYC cookies that are chunky and indulgent, crisp on the outside and soft and squidgy in the middle.

    After 9 minutes, I let them cool for about an hour. They were still cookie dough texture so I put them in the oven for 5 more minutes. I also reduced 40 grams of white sugar. In the end, they were sweeter than I liked, but still delicious. 😊❤️😋

    hiii, I'm from Malaysia. loving your videos ever since I've found you. How much sugar should I reduce if I want a less sweet version? Since biscoff is already sweet :)

      Hi Stephanie! So glad you're enjoying my videos, thank you! Reducing sugar is down to personal taste, so hard to suggest really! When you reduce, I would reduce white sugar before brown, as it helps the caramelized flavour of the cookie. Let me know how they turn out! 😊

      They didn't spread out? That's what they're meant to be like! Chunky and thick, not flat like a lot of other cookie recipes 😊

    Can I use melted butter?

      No, it would change the texture of the cookie. Use cold butter as per the video and recipe 😊

    Is it same 200 degrees for fan oven? You say 115 grams of butter here in video but the recipe link on website, you have put 85g?

      Yes, 200C oven, and yes I said the wrong thing in the video. Follow the recipe, 85g is correct 😊

      Thank you! I haven't tried it with either yoghurt or banana, so not sure really, but if either I would go with yoghurt as won't affect flavour as banana would. Let me know if you try how it works for you 😊

      @@poojarathi6070 I have no idea if it will work! Google tells me 1 egg, as a guide, should be replaced with 60g yoghurt. I have never done this myself, so no idea if it will work.

    Is the oven used convection?

      My oven is a convection oven, so all recipes and timings are based on this. However, every oven is different, so I would always check your bakes periodically to make sure it's not over baking etc. You know your oven best, my temperatures and timings are just for guidance 😊

    Baking on pre heated 180 degree par 10 minute is enough

    Why do you say 115gm of butter in the video and in the recipe it says 85 gm .Quite a difference in amounts so I would not try this !
