That was pretty serious terrain. Good work. Not sure I would take an 890 there.
You've got the skills! Man I hate it when the front slips on me...
Epic ride!
Thank you! Are you at the rally this weekend?
Great video. my friends and i did this trail. we had 2 890's and myself on 690. very tuff trail.
Tuff but rewarding! Big props to whoever does it on a big bike!
Great post Gnarly, would like to know your height?
I'm 5'9" (1.75m) and I'm thinking about the '23 890 Adv R.
FYI I do own a 450 EXC-F and ofter struggle tapping down. Too often end up dropping it below 5mph so about to fit 50mm lowering kit (still higher seat than 890 but it's a lot narrower)
The 890 R is a tall bike. Getting the Lt. power parts low ergo seat might help shorten it by a few inches. I’m 5’11” and just barely flat foot one leg when I ride with my KTM power part tall seat
@@ZackRidesBikes Looking at specs for seat height. My 50mm lowered EXC-F is still higher than the 890 Adv R.
I think KTM do a 25mm lowering kit for the 890 Adv R (and different seats, although heated is my option) so there's going to be less chance of low-speed drops. However that'll probably be mitigated by the extra strain of 'catching' an additional 90kgs!
Thanks 👍
I ordered a 23 890 back in October so my only experience is riding my buddies 790 on fire roads. I guess this is good practice for a big bike but sure seems like smaller bike terrain.
Camera angles are hard to decipher but this looks fairly simple on my 350
Congrats. And your 100% right. A true enduro bike would make easy work of this trail
ua-cam.com/video/yPLJn3IygAg/v-deo.html it aint about the bike but the skill of the rider
how to ruin a bike
Must be a GS owner 🙃
@@ZackRidesBikes not at all mate 😀
@@ZackRidesBikes it's just that I hate ruining and destroying man made items for no reason 😃 you can still have fun yet not scraping the bike on every single rock
