Everything this girl makes total sense to me. I've been listening to her for the last few years relentlessly without the least bit growing tired of it ...from the somewhat obscure songs performed in the NYC cafes in the early days to the present time. I've seen her in person 6 times in the last 2 years alone, and I'm ready for more. She truly is the embodiment of what music and songwriting are really about. People in the know realize that. The rest of the world is slowly but surely catching on.
She certainly can paint a vivid picture through her lyrics. I imagine myself walking through a candle lit museum at midnight with a scotch on the rocks, dressed in a cosey dressing gown and slippers and marveling at priceless artwork while listening to this song or some dark classical tunes.
This is VERY Classy, professional, and just what you would expect from a live professional recording. This works for me! Damn good and damn good video. : )

Regina, shes memorizing, beautiful, original, and her songs don't make sense to regular people, i like how you can just look outside the box of her writing, she makes you think, its complicated, i love it.
I first learned on Regina Spektor from NPR on the way home from work one evening. I mentioned her to others, no one knew of her. locally, no one had her cd's I found her video "ALL THE ROW BOATS", all I could think was WOW she's great.She's got a voice that is fantastic, I hear her singing and I think, believably-beautiful, her lyrics ring truths, her talent is above all else. I wish her all the best and hope someday to see her play in person. Very talented a 5 STAR LADY..
