Bill Dance is the MAN! Most guys would be screaming and going crazy after catching a bass that size. Not Bill, he just releases her and goes back to fishing.
That one shook Bill for just a second, then he regains his bearings, and gets back to it. He's a world class fisherman and he's one of the biggest in the game.
Caught 6lbs smallmouth and was stunned by it's size when I got it near the boat couldn't imagine one twice that big.friends thought I was a nut for releasing her.they mounted their big ones but I was happy watching her swim away.took over 5 minutes on light line to land her and I couldn't kill her and put her on my wall and there was a bass tournament that day and guy's fishing near me offered a 100$ for it and next thing I knew there were 3 boats within 20ft of me.
Interesting camera work and editing.😂 Bill must’ve landed it and put it back in the water several times over an hour or so to get all the angles. Watching Bill Dance Outdoors was what got me hooked 😉on bass fishing when I was a kid
Man I caught an absolutely engorged 5 pounder and freaked out so bad I dropped my old Calcutta DC on a failed boat flip. Yeah IDK what happened but it rip rap's now. But Bill is just as chill as ever on a 13 pounder like nice one, still looking for that 21 pounder though.
The reason he’s not exited is because they just plant the fish there and he catches it. Plenty of ways to set it all up for the camera. Plus the pond he’s fishing on is his pond most likely. He’s probably caught that fish a few times.
I loved his show when I was young, but my daddy just wouldn’t watch it. He was an old wading and Jon boat fisherman that did not believe in throwing a fish back in the water.
Agreed...always private. I've fished both and it's not even comparable. They are purpose built for points, structure, vegetation ect. Its 2 different types of fishing almost, they are that different. In the wild, where I am, a 5 pounder is truly a catch but on the private waters, they're a dissapointment.
It said approximately…when you’ve been catching BIG bass your whole life it’s not that hard to guess. Almost bass fisherman can tell that’s over 11 easy..
My line broke 10 times watching this
Reminds me of Sunday mornings before church my Dad would be watching this on TNN.
For sure.. a classic!
man catches bass of a lifetime.....just catch and release keeps on fishing. Gotta love Bill Dance! The Best!
Bill plays it cool like it's a 3lb bass lol I would love to catch a 13lb bass good job Bill!

Brother id probably break down crying haha especially if it got off
Bill Dance is the greatest, and I'm not kidding.

Once in a lifetime that hawg I love bill dance use to never miss a show watching him fish he's my favorite
I love how he gets up and fishes again
Funny. Never knew Bill had a built in scale in that arm
That's when you reach Hall of fame
His thumb gets bigger in the fishes mouth as the fish do
Yea. Hate when people go to far with weight and don’t even have a scale
He’s pretty close lol don’t get mad because you haven’t caught enough even 5 lbs to know they consistently look like
Me either
That's a beast! Without a doubt you're a master in all the word Mr Dance!
Had that tiny rod bent in half
I love it that rod was about to break .
That one shook Bill for just a second, then he regains his bearings, and gets back to it. He's a world class fisherman and he's one of the biggest in the game.
A Legend In The Fishing Arena!!!
Good Catch!!!
I would be FREAKING out and I’ve been around a good number of big bass 😂
Nice catch Bill
True sportsman ...
"Thats an mule my boy"
When someone who has caught as many fish as bill dance gets excited you know it's a monster
No scale on that boat bill.. What the heck. She might go better than 13! That BELLY tho!
River bass

A lot of good replica makers these days!!!! If you wanted to go that route. Good on you though!
I’ve caught smallies as big as 6 lbs - bass don’t get as big up here in Wisconsin, but a 6lb smaller will give you a FIGHT!
@@S.Roth94 I'm originally from Massachusetts were they don't much bigger than 6 lbs also and even the largemouth rarely gets much bigger
hehe, Bill fishing Phosphate mining areas in Florida
Catches a GIANT, hold my 🍺 while i release her all calm and collective like most anglers do when they catch a 2 pounder.
I love it that rod was about to break.
Cheap ass Zebco
@@waikikirod many a fish caught on those cheap ass rods and reels.
bill is goated
The master at play
That’s good ol Lester
October birthday
Should have had a scale handy for that 1. Go back to Bass Pro Shop and get 1. I’m sure it was up there, I would have had to weigh it . Nice 1 Bill
Bro catches and releases a double digit bass like it was just a 2 pounder
A+ bassmember
whoa busta!!
I’d be happy catching something half that size
Fish on a water shead.. hatchie river goes down making a lake in private land... That's where he catches all the big ones
Is Bill Dance on facebook?
LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hogzilla
Video Quality from 1999? =)
I was wondering if he was going to spend all day trying to get the hook out.
The best!
Greatest sales pitcherman ever!!! Bahahaha
“Approximately” lol come on now...
I dunno how he sets down to Fish I can’t do it
Fish wouldve been out of the water for 30 mins if i caught that thing
Interesting camera work and editing.😂

Watching Bill Dance Outdoors was what got me hooked 😉on bass fishing when I was a kid
not one river fish; they bite different in the current
In a private stocked lake.
what a job.... must be nice....

Jeremiah Johnson
Because that’s what I want to do and that’s alright lol I love it I would have put him in live-well and called everybody over to get a look at it.
He released it? Not a keeper
Largemouths are nasty eating.
@@dumper87 trophy fish..I never thought about it..but I never ate largemouth lol. That explains that

Water shead private land off the hatchie? Bottle Cap Lure

😂 13lbs weigh it!
Is that a kids push button set up? Ha ha Ha ha ha Ha
No, its a baitcaster. Used by all professional bass fishers, its just an old clunky model, cause its an old clunky video
I loved his show when I was young, but my daddy just wouldn’t watch it. He was an old wading and Jon boat fisherman that did not believe in throwing a fish back in the water.
Who cares? Pointless comment. 😅
I like bill but he mainly fished stocked ponds never catching giants on public bodies of water

Oct dad
So he just guessed the weight? If that's how it's done I'm gonna start doing that.
It said approximately…when you’ve been catching BIG bass your whole life it’s not that hard to guess. Almost bass fisherman can tell that’s over 11 easy..
Whatever makes you feel better. Not his fault you can't catch big fish 😂🤣
Looks more like 11 lbs. to me, but fantastic 'mule'. :)
😒😒😒😒😒
He didnt even weigh that 9 pounder!
Wtf lol you can't just make a weight assumption on a bass that fat
Then you haven't fished for Bass on a constant basis..
That's no 13lb😂 maybe like 9.5-10
Anthony Cikauskas thats 13 all day hating
10 tops hahaha
Ya I would say closer to 10 as well.
Double digit easy. Y’all some googans
Didn't even weight him! Its not 13! BS!!!! SMH 🤦♂️

9-10.5 lb
