I have never heard an amp sound so good without a pedal so I did some digging and now I'm gonna get the lunchbox version of this as a Christmas gift to myself.
Hell yeah bro!! Yes, they make a large 100W and the lunchbox version. It's shocking how amazing this amp is and zero pedal! Not even a noisegate is needed on this thing!! You're going to love it, bro!!
Ceriatone is absolutely the best buy for your dollar. Nik is top notch... first class guy. And the build quality is second to NONE. Their amps are made in Malaysia because the owner IS MALAYSIAN. HE AND HIS AMPS ARE AWESOME..
I absolutely LOVE my Ceriatone! This Yeti is a beast and I got it after Mike Hasty from Walls of Jericho told me that I needed to get one! Then he found one on reverb for me! And that's how I got this one!! : )
While I have Marshalls, Peaveys, VHT, Sovtek, Blackheart and many other amps, I now own three Ceriatone amps. My first Ceriatone amplifier was a 50-watt Chupacabra... that started my Ceriatone journey... I was hooked. The second Ceriatone was a Plexi 51 All Access (every Plexi version ever made 1968-1973, all in one amp, at the flick of a few switches). My latest is a modified 100/50- watt Silver Jubilee 2555. I added a resonance control, TAD mustard Caps, PPIMV, Buffered FX loop, 3-way bright switch and Ruby Tubes... to die for.... Delivered @ under $2k. I'm never going back to assembly Line disposable amps... that cost 3x the price. Ceriatone is the bomb, for sure.
It is mind blowing that Marshall doesn't have a custom shop. The number of hand wired amps they sell is like, two. They must be spending all their time at the pub.
Hey, Louis, are you still liking your Yeti? How does it do with lower tunings and EMGs? Also, does yours have a pull knob on one of the volumes that tightens the low end?
Yes, Rick! I'm shocked at the builds they make! They're so great and like you said, best bank for the buck! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving with the family! :)
That is bad ass!!!... Ive ordered a 100w Leviathan, a Friedman Butterslax clone, I'll be going straight through the amp too & gig it's ass off! A mate of mine put me onto Ceriatone a year ago, he played his plexi via video call, sounded crap over the phone, but he raved about it and Ceriatone, he owns 3 of Niks amps atm, 2 plexis and a dumble...it's videos like yours that helped AND didn't help if ya know what I mean make a decision... now I'm not sure...? 😂 Rock On \,,/
Dammit man. Jarrod from Tone Wars has a ceriatone i got a chance to hang out in his studio and jam a little. Kinda wished I'd played it but went for the Engl Savage mk II 120 and a Mesa Roadster.
There he is! How's the roofing industry treating ya in this summertime heat? Word has it, the bossman owner of the roofing company saw some of your YT video's and decided to move you into the door to door salesman slot. The guys are gonna be pissed!!!
Yeah actually, YOU are the first dude I ever heard talk about Ceriatone. That’s literally the way I found out about the company. Hahaha And I’m VERY happy I did because that will most likely be the next amp I buy. Only one question, and I don’t mean this in a bad way, but with my headphones on the Yeti sounds a BIT fuzzy and dark, though it seems like I can hear the core of the sound which IS “tight.” Is it super tight in the room when you’re playing? Or would a TS type pedal help tighten it up? I ask because the other 2 models I’m on the fence about are the Molecular and the Gargoyle. Are those killer as well, in your opinion?
hey man, I have the Yeti 50 that I love and told Louis about. The Yeti is basically a Jose modded Plexi and there are a million of those you can listen to and see if thats your thing. The Molecular is Niks take on the Cameron Atomica which is a heavily modded JCM 800 and is absolutely incredible. The Gargoyle is a clone of the Fortin Meshuggah. Also a beast and just crazy good sounding. So if any of those original amps speak to you more then I would suggest the Ceriatone version of it. They make super high end hand wired boutique amps. It will crush so hard.
Thanks for the video! I'm considering buying one for my 40th bday. I'm hesitating between the Yeti 100, Leviathan 100 and the King Kong 100. Thoughts? Love the show \m/
@@louistorres I love it. It has 3 channels and most of the Jose Mod type features and switching. All 3 channels sound great. For the clean channel there is a clipper defeat switch so you can engage clipping diodes and get a nice gritty tone. Of course channel 3 is real high gain. Takes pedals very well. Real versatile and the quality is unbelievable. Took about 8 weeks to build from order and I got it all black with the default silver panel and branding plate. @@louistorres Ah, gotcha. Cool. Yeah I just saw some clips on the Molecular 50 and how it is based on the Cameron Atomica. Damn, with a modern OD pedal I bet it would sound killer for Fear Factory tones
Louis my friend!
