- My 2018 Ram Promaster City is back again. Actually, it never left but it is now featured again as it need some work. I also found a solution to avoid future coyote problems with the Promonster.

Glad to see you back. As for the Florida left lane, our Governor just signed a bill to make it possible to ticket and fine left lane campers.
They did that in Alabama and it didn't change anything. Of course, the troopers actually have to be out there enforcing it first.

Georgia inacted that law a few years ago and is proof that just because there's a law doesn't mean it is enforced...
As a conservative, Florida is an embarrassment. At least they are at the tip of the housing market correction.

Pleased to see you still have your Promaster City and are enjoying it. I purchased my 2015 new in June 2016. It is the SLT Wagon 5 passenger model. I still have it. And I have no plans to sell it. It works great for me. In December of 2016, a Durango attempted to become a new hood ornament and 4 months later he was successfully removed and I had my van back. Except for the still slightly wrinkled front license plate, you would be very hard pressed to find any evidence it was ever damaged.
How did a city in Colorado manage to fit on your hood? 🤷♂ .............................................😁

Great update! I had a good laugh. Thanks. As for the Floridians driving slow in the left lane. They don't worry about coyotes like us up north. They hace Crocks and snapping turtles. Much different damage. Those creatures like to hang out in the right lane.

You win a Plymouth Roadrunner decal set! The cute little big footed bird with the racing helmet. One posing for the right rear door and 2 running, 1 each for the front fenders. Just like on the real cars back in the day. Then get the coyote air cleaner decal to place on the engine cover under the hood.

I have an 07 Kia Spectra that used to belong to my late sister. In the time I've had, I replaced all three belts and a fuel tank strap that just snapped on me recently. No issues, everything taken care of when it needs it and is pretty good on gas

We hit a kangaroo with our Mitsubishi Starwagon when my wife was driving. It took out the bumper cover, bumper reinforcing, hood, grille, AC condenser, radiator, water pump and bent the radiator support. That was fixed under insurance.
You probably hit kangaroos like we hit deer in the states.

I had an encounter with a coyote one morning in my 87 Ford Ranger on the way to the vanpool. The right front and left rear tire went over the animal. I was in a gradual left turn on a hill at the time.
The next morning my left rear tire was flat and a chunk of bone was sticking out of the tire about 2 inches just below the top of the tread. Guess what? "Sidewall damage, non repairable."
Obviously the coyote got even.
So, $125.00 for a new Michelin tire (2003 prices) and we're on our way!

That measuing at the end hints to me at a 5.0 ending up in the back of that van eventually... Seem to have enough "restoration project" doner cars laying around that haven't burt to a crisp yet.
I live in the Uk and they are called a Fiat Doblo or a Vauxhall Combi, mine is the Fiat derivative and is an ex Post office van with 45,000 miles (2014) with a 1.3 Diesel.
I wish we could get the diesels.

You had me for a second with the Coyote even though I figured you were a Ford hater..🤣 I'd recommend a Coyote eliminator that travels at about 3,100 feet per second and uses standard capacity magazines. Unfortunately all the Coyote eliminators of this type have been lost in boating accidents in the land of corruption and rust. Just another reason I reside in Idaho. Great content and laughs as always.

Kia V6 engines are really good just take care of the oil , my friend got 17 Cadenza brand new , today it has almost 250k mils all original that thing could go to 150mph less than a minute like a champ
6:27 I was guessing $4500, lucky guess! Since I'm in Canuckistan and had to figure in the exchange and the fact that parts are cheap in the US compared to up here. Up here, salvage yards want almost as much for a used engine as a rebuild.

No airbag involvement? Surprised. I installed a nice deer in my 1988 Dodge Daytona back in 1992. Smacked that thing at 65 mph. Blew the airbag (you don't want to see the insides of those) and gave the Daytona 5 o'clock shadow on the front nose area, plus I now had a clear and red headlight. Which both still worked after the smacking. Never found the deer after I pulled over, maybe it was ok?

$3000 is my guess on the cost. Fun fact: In MA, where I live, if the vehicle has over 20K miles, the insurance company does not have to use OEM parts to repair it. It doesn't matter if it is 2 years old or 10; 20K is the rule. You got a busted headlight? Well, an OEM headlight costs $700, but the cheap Chinese one costs $200. Guess which one you are going to get.

Illinois has lots of everyone blocking the left lanes. I can imagine florida is worse but Illinois is pretty bad. Since 2020 the truckers are now camping in the left lanes too.

6:55 up here, hitting an animal is under collision which has a (normally) $500 deductible, and that includes rocks/wheel nuts through the windshield.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think, in the beautiful Garden State, hitting an animal (probably a deer) or getting a windshield replaced that was broken from a truck throwing a rock, or any other reason, is covered under comprehensive insurance. I'm pretty sure you pay your full $500 deductible, just like any other accident. Glad to see the local body shop doesn't use drywall screws to repair plastic bumpers!

5 years ago my insurance agent convinced me to add comp to my policy. 2 months later an uninsured deer hit me. It was a hit and run. I ended up getting $1k more than I paid for the car.
Quirky, practical little vans...280,000kms (174,000mi) on mine and still going, other than you can almost watch them rust! lol
